For those of us who are having issues tracking our visa after interview, try removing the zero's because I tried and it worked.

To He who has been there for me in ages past, who is and who is to come, I say THANK YOU.

My interview experience:

Left home around 4:20am and arrived @ the embassy around 4:40am. At that time, I could count our numbers, but @ 5:40am...walter carrington was another village market.
We were divided according to our visa categories then observed all security protocols (d check no be beans o). Asked to open d medicals n got tags for payment.
Made payment inside the hall and submitted credentials( no1 collected d x-ray).

After a looong wait, d interview started with families (for immigrants) and I was the 1st single to be called @10:15am (my number beeped @ window 16). It was even @izzy that tapped me. At this point my people, my blood pressure increased (I no go lie).

Me: good morning
Co: good morning
Co: pls raise your hand and swear that all you say will be the truth.
Me: I promise to say the truth
Co: what is your highest level of edu?
Me: Bsc
Co: in what?
Me: bla bla
Co: name of school and what year?
Me: bla bla, 2007
Co: did you say 2010?
Me: No, 2007
Co: where did you serve, state and what were you doing?
Me: bla bla
Co: what were you doing after school?
Me: bla bla bla
Co: why did you play the lottery?
Me: I want a fresh start
Co: have you ever applied for a US visa?
Me: No, just DV's
Co: where do you live and is it with your parents?
Me: bla bla, not with my parents.
Co: when will your wife be going with you?
Me: wife?(With a smile) I'm not married
Co: okay( looks @ his system, checked my docs again and stares into my face)
@ dis point, I don calm down...no tension.
Co: what is your date of birth?
Me: bla bla bla


Na so interview finish o, he gave me 2 white papers and was explaining plenty things( I just dey look, I no listen again). But I remember him say I can pay my UCIS fee when I get to the states or before I leave.

Hello house, please I need your response on this: I got a promotion with the same company I work for but didn't know if I should have updated KCC. The thing is I don't know if I should stick to the previous position on my form during interview or tell the CO of the new portfolio.

Hello house, had a long day @ children's practice yesterday. You'll require a lotta patience to get it done. Paid 12k for consultation and 8500k for vaccination, but it depends on the doctors diagnosis.

Leripa: Payments and documentations at windows 18 and 22 respectively. We waited for our tag no to be displayed and at about 11:48am our tag no showed at window 14.

INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE
Me: good morning
CO: good morning Mr and Mrs __________
CO: pls let me have your fingerprints
Me and wife did, then he asked my wife to go and sit down
CO: what is your highest level of education?
Me: told him
CO: which school and what course did you study?
Me: told him
CO: where have you worked?
Me: told him by mentioning my previous employers
CO: where do you work at the moment?
Me: told him
CO: what do you do there?
Me: told him
CO: how long have you been married?
Me: told him........he was looking at my wife and our son
CO: can i see your picture album?
Me: brought it out and flipped through the pages one by one
CO: it's okay, i'm going to approve your visas
Me: thank you

He then gave me two white sheets, one for the visa pick up address and the other one for the USCIS payment. Na so baba GOD take do am oooooo!!!

Got up at 3, did some good praising and worship and prayer. Needed it
Got there at about past 5, at 6 they began the regular checks, the whole time I was singing and reminding my FATHER under my breath that it's HIS turn oh, to do what we have been talking about.
Anyways I was called at about past 10 and here is how it went
Me: good morning sir
CO: morning
CO: please sign these forms here
CO: do you swear to say the truth...
Me: I swear
CO: are you so and so?
Me: yes sir
CO: why did you apply for the programme?
Me: because I felt it offered a better opportunity for schooling and work and to further better yourself then I mumbled a bit
CO: nodding, are you travelling with your wife?
Me: wife?? I'm not married!!
CO: never been married? No kids?
Me: no, no, no
Co: have you been to the US before?
Me: yes, once
Co: what purposes?
Me: j1 visa, work and study sponsored by my school and cieee
Co: where did you stay?
Me: Montana
Co: surprised.
Co: nods. Ok. What were you doing?
Me: worked at McDonald's
Co: did you like the food?
Me: free food never tastes bad
Co: laughs.
Then I tell him about some of the places I visited. While I was talking he was returning my original documents and approving my visa
All this took less than 3 minutes oh.
Meanwhile, when I came he was the co I was trying to avoid, he turned out to be really pleasant! I give GOD all the glory cos it's not cos we deserve anything more than the other but HIS mercies!

Hello house, please is the police character cert still needed after interview? Or its just basically for the interview, since its a 3month renewable document.
