@MamaJD, do you know any other girl who can converse well in German so I can be conversing with her? ![]() na wa o |
Should marriage be about money? So people will rather have their daughters unmarried than let her marry the man she loves; who may or may not be a rich man? |
@LadyT, I want to come to your home but I'm afraid that the brisdge might collapse and I cant swim. Will you come and swim with me across the river please? ![]() |

biina:this is so true |
Are they working to become father christmas? or do you think they dont have bills to pay? Reverse the question and ask - why are Nigerians in Nigeria so stingy? They never give us any money when we vist Nigeria ![]() |
ElRazur:Many will be suprised to know that Asians tend to do most of these things that Nigerians do, and sometimes to a greater extent. But they are never spoken of the way Nigerians get spoken of because Nigerians tend to be extreme loudmouths. A Nigerian who steals £1000 pounds successfully will go into a club and declare champagne for all the beautiful ladies around thereby drawing attention to himself. The idiots who are scammers in London are mainly paupers these days and they keep quiet till the day they HIT £2,000. They will then start showing themselves to everyone who knows them and they put up fronts to impress and prove that they live in real luxury. Fake idiots they are! |
Life for drug charge Briton in LaosLife for drug charge Briton in Laos A court in Laos has found a pregnant British woman guilty of trafficking heroin and sentenced her to life in prison. A British Embassy spokesman said the verdict on 20-year-old Samantha Orobator was handed down at a one-day hearing in the Lao capital. Daniel Painter, a spokesman for the British Embassy in neighbouring Thailand, attended the trial. Heroin trafficking is punishable by death, but Lao law does not allow the execution of pregnant women. Under a recent pact, she could be extradited to serve her time in Britain. Orobator's case attracted particular attention because she became pregnant while incarcerated. Lao officials have asserted that she may have managed to artificially inseminate herself while behind bars. Orobator arrived in court wearing a blue prison outfit and smiling to reporters. She was escorted by women prison guards but was not in handcuffs or ankle chains. Her mother also attended the trial and looked distressed leaving court after the trial, but Orobator appeared calm. Police said they found 1.5lbs of heroin in 68 capsules on Orobator when she was arrested at Vientiane airport on her way to Australia. The British legal charity Reprieve said the drugs were found in her luggage. Orobator was arrested last August, but her case did not draw international attention until news of her pregnancy became public in early May amid concerns that she could be executed by firing squad if found guilty. The Lao government later confirmed that under the country's criminal law, a pregnant woman cannot receive the death penalty, but officials delayed her scheduled trial date in May because of questions about how she became pregnant. According to Lao officials, Orobator initially told authorities she was pregnant by her boyfriend in England, but tests after she was arrested showed no signs of pregnancy. It was not until March 2 that a hospital test showed she was pregnant, verified by a second test April 4, police said. That meant she must have become pregnant while in prison, they said. Orobator's mother recently said her daughter had not been raped by prison officials or fellow prisoners, as some media had speculated. The Vientiane Times quoted police as saying Orobator admitted she secretly obtained sperm from a fellow prisoner to impregnate herself to avoid the death penalty http://news.uk.msn.com/world/article.aspx?cp-documentid=147741879 |
Badriyyah:you need lessons from me to understand the romantic variant of German ![]() |
Our boys seem never tired of doing wrong. You cant really call these people Nigerians. They are more British than they are Nigerians. Its the lax system that encourages them to do what they like knowing that they will get away with such things when they appear in court. In Nigeria, the knowledge that some older guy round the corner will intervene and clobber you is enough deterrent. In the UK, there's no deterrent except for the laws which are very lenient especially on teenagers who run around killing others. That's what you get when you take your little children to live in the UK thinking that they automatically become better individuals. Go to London and see the kind of children that Nigerians are raising ![]() |
Are there any Nigerians out there that can provide genuine information as to where he may be living at the moment? Anyone who has genuine information can call the Met. Police Incident Room on 0208 603 8408. In addition anyone can call the NHS Fraud reporting line on 0800 028 40 60 if they know he is working as a doctor in any NHS or private hospital in the UK.Alan, is this where you do your detective work? You are wasting taxpayers money by sitting behind a PC on a forum and pretending to be looking for a criminal on the run. How effective do you hope to be? You give no details about where he was working etc and you think we'll just know him. You guys really have a complete lack of knowledge of other cultures and peoples. Go and find out how many cultures there are in Nigeria and then you'll understand that you're up against a brickwall the way you're going on about this. |
nope. most female footballers are ugly. besides, there'll be too many questions on my mind to engender trust |
Badriyyah:you need German lessons. . . report here asap for private lessons ![]() |
One of the problems I often have with America is their desperation to, almost force, everyone else to follow their own ways. They seem to have a mentality that says: If you're doing things the American way, you're not doing it right! Why must other countries be made to legitimize sodomy simply because Americans have bowed to sodomy? Will it become right, if Iran was to become the next super power, for Iran to force Americans to kill gay people? or would it be right, if Afghanistan suddenly becomes the next world super power, to force/compel every nation to make women wear masks? These western countries are setting precedents of enforcing their values on others which, if other nations embark upon later, will only lead to further chaos and destruction in the world. Its one of the reasons millions have been killed in Iraq. |
alanNHS:Are you a security agent? Dont you think if people know, they'd have shopped him, except if they are collaborators with him? The pic should be widely circulated in the UK and Nigeria and it wont be long till someone shops him. Putting a little ransom may also encourage anyone in Nigeria to help if he has fled to Nigeria. |
Moves:The first link relates to America and therefore has no bearing on what we are discussing here. The second link is valid relatively in the sense that the owner of the cash in the referenced case is not known as a responsible citizen who leads a clean life. Specifically, the police officer stated "It is enough to show that the cash is probably related to one of a number of kinds of activity, any one of which would have been unlawful, for example, cheating the revenue, trading in counterfeit goods, drug supply or falsely claiming state benefits." This is not the same as a responsible citizen who has saved up a large sum of money. It is subject to what activities can be reasonably related to the person in question. |
I dont want this to be taken the wrong way but the fact that someone said he doesn't drive in London does not mean he cant drive. I know lots of people who can drive very well but dont drive in UK. |
babycool:civilisation is not about dressing scantily. if you have enough confidence in your beauty, you will have no need to appeal to the sexual urges of men on the streets. |
Sorry to hear that. You need to brace yourself and live your life to the full so that she can be proud of you wherever she may be. B T W, have you got a job yet? |
ha ha ha. . . so the guy doesn't even drive. Why do people make up such stories anyway? |
robertmms:Is that the middle finger? you are woked! Waka and stumble all the way peradventure you find (stumble) your way to the Lord Jesus Christ. |
baddestboy:What exactly is the Nigerian mentality? I'd rather have a Nigerian mentality than a British one |
europegirl:Ich denke, dass es besser für Sie ist, in Nigeria zu heiraten |
europegirl:Bedenken Sie nie. Sie sind schön genug |
Ilelobola:Yes. His answer is ridiculously daft but the position of the law is not that he has to prove anything. If there is no proof of him being involved in illegal activities, he can carry £1,000,000.00 cash (if he choses to do so) around freely. |
Ilelobola:Please could you tell me where that law originated from in the UK? There is no law in the UK for you to prove where you got money from if you have committed no crime. The legal position is that any amount over £1000 can be siezed from anyone if the police have grounds to believe that it is the proceeds of, or intended for, unlawful uses. Even when the money is siezed, it cannot be done for more than 2 working days without a court order. Now, getting a court order means that there must be something evidently against you or the court will not grant the order. the onus is always on the police to prove that you have gained the money illegally or that you want to put it to illegal use. |
She was scheming to get rich quick. Now she has used her scheming tactics well again. I have a feeling she might try drug smuggling again in future. . . a real schemer and tactician. http://news.uk.msn.com/world/article.aspx?cp-documentid=147714291 Briton 'got pregnant to escape death' © ITN 2009 A Briton accused of drug smuggling in Laos reportedly became pregnant to avoid the death penalty. Samantha Orobator, 20, of south London, has been in a Lao jail since last August after she was allegedly caught with 1.5lb (680g) of heroin at Wattay airport in the capital Vientiane. Police told a Lao newspaper that Orobator impregnated herself by another prisoner in an apparent effort to escape a death sentence. It was initially reported she could face the death penalty if found guilty but it later emerged Lao law forbids the execution of pregnant prisoners. It is not known who the father of Orobator's child is. Her mother, Jane, said her daughter was not raped and the father of the child was not a Lao prison official. Authorities in Laos have reportedly postponed her trial while they attempt to solve the mystery of how she fell pregnant in prison. Last month Foreign Secretary David Miliband signed a prisoner transfer agreement with the government of Laos meaning any potential sentence could be served in the UK. |
Moves:You must be having a laugh! The onus is in the police to prove that there was criminality involved in earning or obtaining the money. There's no law that says you can only have a certain amount of cash in your person within the UK. Twice, I have been found with a few thousands on me and I was not required to prove anything to the police. The last time was a night before travelling to Nigeria when I had the cash on me having gone to pick same up from a friend who helped collect it from the bank. I was stopped by the police on the motorway (not unusual in my part of the world) and a few thousands was in the car. The police did not bother themselves with the money as they found nothing to incriminate me. Although the story says the guy acted stupid, it still does not remove the onus from the police to prove his guilt. He could have told them that he wasn't telling them and they still would have nothing on him. More often than not, it's better to say nothing to the police or tell them you dont want to answer them. You may get arrested for not answering but you wont say something that could land you in big trouble. |
