origina9ja:I'm sorry to say this. . . but this is the worst way of looking at anything in life. Brandishing the name of one (or few) person who seems to have made something of her life out of the several hundreds of thousands whose lives are nothing to write home about smirks of encouraging the wrong attitude. Its just the same thing you get when one success story is brought out in a bid to prove that growing up in social care is not bad. There are several children who grew up in social care and are now being recycled through the criminal system but social officers always find one that can speak well, dress him/her up for TV and try to make people believe what is not true. oops, your point (and mine too) actually has nothing to do with the title of the thread. |

Whispering palms still exists? I've known it for years |

Kobojunkie:You may find, if you read well, that what some of them did was criminal. Is it not criminal for a citizen to evade tax? Is it not criminal to make false declarations for monetary gain? |
Its all good. Let's really consider it. . . dont Nigerians know that politicians are stealing their money? Have many politicians not been exposed for their activities? What exactly has happened to such politicians? Even the media boys collect brown envelopes and report only that which suits their pockets. We have serious problems in Nigerian and some of us seem to underestimate the depth of the Nigerian problem. |
Thor:Crimes have been committed by MPs. Perhaps you dont know that the failure to pay appropriate taxes constitutes an offence and that fraudulently making claims that are false also constitute an offence. The difference between UK politicians and Nigerian politicians is that the UK has some order which makes certain things easy to change whereas Nigeria is so complex that things are more difficult to change, coupled with the level of poverty and ignorance of the populace. This sends a signal to me that you are posting out of hatred for Nigeria and ALL things Nigeria. What exactly does the propects of people living in UK and Nigeria got to do with whether or not politicians are corrupt? You revealed your true colour when you stated that the problem with Nigeria is that the British are not running the country. . . is your name on the recently publicised list of BNP members? |
What were wives doing with the cars in the first place? |
JJYOU:Do you think knowing how the legislators impoverish our nation will make any difference? We know what many people have done and we still carry on (waiting for our our turn to get to the position where we can loot); which is why nobody cares about anything. . . everyone complains but no one does anything because they are hoping they will get there and do the same. |
Thor, The UK parliamentarians are very unlikely to do anything illegal since they made the laws which guide them. They did not make the laws to regulate themselves as rigorously as the laws regulate the ordinary citizens. They are like a cult with regards to such things as they all know that they stand to benefit from standing together as one. In spite of that, some of them still decided to go overboard and do some outrightly wrong things. A few of them will, I believe, eventually be prosecuted for several offences ranging from tax evasion to fraudulent claims. |
SeanT21:I already figured out that you are unable to understand what year we live in let alone make sense with what you write. |
BNP boss 'to attend Queen's party' The British National Party's leader is set to attend a garden party hosted by the Queen, according to a colleague. Richard Barnbrook, a BNP member of the London Assembly, said Nick Griffin will accompany him as his guest at the event at Buckingham Palace on July 21. All members of the Assembly are traditionally invited to the event. Mr Barnbrook said: "I imagine there will be a to-do and a hoot. These things are going to happen more and more as the party goes forward." A BNP spokesman added: "Richard Barnbrook has got an official invite in his capacity as a member of the London Assembly and he is allowed to bring a guest, which will be Nick Griffin. For him to snub an invite from the Queen would be absurd. "It is something people are going to have to get used to because if we get elected MEPs, this is the kind of thing we are going to be doing on a regular basis. It is the emergence of a party from beyond the pale to mainstream." The Mayor of London later accused the BNP of trying to turn a Buckingham Palace garden party into a "political stunt". Mr Johnson wrote to Darren Johnson, Chair of the London Assembly, calling for him to intervene and withdraw Mr Barnbrook's invitation. He said: "I have learnt today that the London Assembly has passed an invitation to Her Majesty's Garden Party to Richard Barnbrook of the BNP, following previous custom for all Assembly Members to be invited. "It now transpires, however, that Mr Barnbrook plans to bring as his guest the Leader of the BNP, Mr Nick Griffin, or another prominent member of the party, thereby threatening to turn a happy annual event - at which thousands of people across the country are acknowledged for their service to the community - into a political stunt. "We cannot tolerate any such abuse of the invitation or any potential embarrassment to Her Majesty. I am therefore writing to call on you to inform Mr Barnbrook - at the earliest opportunity - that he must either bring a guest who will not provoke political controversy, or consider his invitation rescinded." The event will come after the June local and Euro elections, which could see the BNP gaining more local council seats and their first MEPs. Political experts have warned that disillusionment with mainstream politicians over the MPs' expenses scandal and fears over jobs and immigration could lead to a surge in support for the party. The BNP campaigns for the "voluntary resettlement" of immigrants back to their countries of origin, claims white Britons have become "second class citizens" and wants to bring back corporal and capital punishment for criminals. A spokesman for Buckingham Palace said he could not confirm individual invitations. He said: "A number of organisations and bodies receive an allocation of tickets for the garden parties so it is a matter for those organisations who they invite http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20090520/tuk-bnp-boss-to-attend-queen-s-party-dba1618.html |
These British people own pass me. Its about giving his son some 'fun'. |
The whoring woman is using the result of her whorish ways to make money by selling the news and the guy is probably some jobless black american who now realises that he's better off staying with the woman who has just hit some money. Shameless people |
SeanT21:Its 2009! And, what has the year got to do with what's being discussed? |
The Nigerian woman is the best woman any man can ever have. |
JJYOU:exactly!!! Until we stop this nonsense culture of extolling people based o how much money they have fraudulently amassed, we will continue to be ridiculed by the whole world. Its praise singers with no moral fibre who contribute so much to the destruction of Nigeria's fabric. The likes of the musician above and Dele Momodu contirbute in no little way to the destruction of Nigeria. |
What a shameless woman. . . and she is being treated like celebrity! If a man was to impregnate 2 women, everyone will roundly condemn him and call for his head. |
I am also a Nigerian and I can sing English songs. . . does that count for anything too? |
