I have always reminded my white friends that Obama is a white man. they never have anything else to say after I explain to them that he is 50% black and 50% white so why should he be referred to just as being black.
It's just a media thing and the racist american rules that make everyone seem comfortable with ignoring his white side. White people want nothing to do with anyone that has a drop of black so we should constantly remind them that mixed race people have white blood.

This is a good question for the whites to answer, the whites will rather die than accept him as a white man.

This is the reason I always like to point such things out and proclaim them. We should not just accept these things because white people want us to accept them. If lots of black people start referring to mixed race kids as black/white or white/black, they'll soon follow suit and then mixed race kids will start feeling proud of their other side.

Absolutely nothing is wrong with acknowledging that Obama is a black man. I have a problem when people refuse to accept that he is also a white man.

It's not about their happiness. My wife is also over the moon with the Obama victory - I've actually known no peace in the house for the sake of Obama because almost every conversation has to have an Obamaish ending.

I said racy scenes are common occurences in normal western media. Most of those scenes will not appear on normal Nigerian movies - do we need to go into examples to prove this? No need

By the way, isn't it better for anything uncomely to be done in secret? Is one of the plagues of Nigeria not the fact that corruption is done openly? If something has to be conducted secretly, it shows that it is generally regarded as not acceptable.

what's the problem and why is it that so many are on the guy's case? The guy definitely has his own reasons for doing what he's done and he's not come out to openly declare it because men dont discuss these kind of things openly. If one was to find out why it's gone awry, you may find out that it's the woman's fault (I'm not saying that's a certainty).

However if you believe the man has left you because he does not want a white woman, please move on with your life and find a white man to marry. No point in trying to label every black man based on a few individual circumstances

The environment and culture certainly influences the way a child grows up.

Now, what is considered proper in a place may be deemed improper elsewhere. What is seen on normal daytime TV in UK and America dare not be filmed in Nigeria. Very racy scenes have become 'normal' in the west whereas Nigerians are not too exposed to such scenes.

Believe it or not, those things influence thought patterns.
