A woman asking a guy to be her val can mean she just wants him to be around her on that day, spend time with her and make it a memorable one, on a no string attached basis. And basically because her man is not available on that day for certain reasons or she's single. It can also be that she's interested in having a relationship with the guy.

But a woman asking if a guy would marry her? I am not sure even oyibo women wey can easily ask a guy out can do that. It's not even good to imagine such.

I think it's a huge difference. It's exactly what you just said. A girl may just want you to be her valentine for just that day. No sting attached. I believe anyone can be your valentine but u can't propose to anyone. Pride wont let a girl ask a man to be her valentine.

First of all your profile picture says a lot about you and I will list out what I noticed

1) You seem like an indoor girl- This won't help you in getting a boyfriend. Do you expect them to enter your room where you lock yourself in and start asking you out

2) You don't try to make yourself attractive- Do you use make-up, or do you even know what make-up even means. You can just do a google search just to be sure

3) You dress like a guy- Which guy would want to go out with another guy. If you give people the impression that you are a tomboy, I don't think any guy would want to take you out.

By the way, romance section is not the best of places to look for a date. Most people here are not really serious and this section is flooded with childish and mentally deranged people.

I believe there are good women out there and I hope the good women don't get offended by this. I have noticed some threads harshly bash women here and some good women get offended and shocked by it. Understandably so! Just understand that regardless of how you feel about some of these threads there are still and will always be women who are just scam artist, gold diggers and more importantly, LAZY BOTTOM WOMEN! I have had my share of them and I made a wise decision accordingly. Women should NOT feel comfortable asking a man constantly for money to get their hair done, pay for a recharge card and more. Women of some other society find pride in getting things done by themselves so they will never have to worry about a man using what they have done for them against them. I have the top most respect for women who have always done things for themselves. I will gladly buy a woman everything she wants if I can but ONLY if she deserves it. She can be broke too. But a women who permanently gets comfortable with receiving is not worth your TIME.
