Politics › Re: Electricity Generation Drops 16% To 3,501MW by justmi1: 9:49am On Jul 21, 2023 |
I knew this would happen. As a business man whenever I want my customers to pay more I increase quality, but if they are not willing to pay I drop quality. Simple.
We all know the country is in bad shape but would you rather run generators with 700/ltr fuel or pay more for constant power supply.
Last night everywhere in my neighbourhood was pitch black after aedc cut supply; who them born well to on gen.
Let's get prepaid metres and control our power consumption as we have with fuel. This is the only way we can get quality. The genco and discos though corrupt still needs funds for upgrades and maintenances of thier infrastructure. If they are not making good profit don't expect constant supply. It's economics. |
Politics › Re: Give Us Free Hand To Wipe Out Terrorists, Army Tells Governors by justmi1: 7:29am On Jul 13, 2023 |
RomanGreen: WTF! Did I just read? Army that is under the sole command of the president is asking governors for permission to root out terrorists which is a matter of national security..chai, Nigeria is finished o. Shameless Nigerian Army, you guys keep going low daily. I thought the army is answerable only to the president? Why are these soldiers bent on destroying the image of the Nigeria military Not permission, " free hand". Free hand though an ambigious phrase mean alot, like the governors being sentimental or emotional and won't like them to do as expected. Remember these bandits have political affiliations. |
Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal Drags Down Petrol Consumption By 28% by justmi1: 2:50am On Jul 08, 2023 |
thisisit: Decrease in demand for petrol energy implies:
Decrease in productivity Decrease in GDP Decrease in per capital Income Economic depression and stagnation
TOTAL = INCREASE IN MULTIDIMENSIONAL POVERTY so the amount of fuel being smuggled to neighbouring countries is a joke to you. Or the fact that people now drive only when necessary. |

Politics › Re: Ambode Joins Sanwo-olu, Fashola, Others At A Reception For Tinubu After 4 Years by justmi1: 7:29am On Jun 30, 2023 |
hansomb: Well maybe because there's cross breeding of faith in most if not all Yoruba families. For example Tinubu is a Muslim, his wife is a Christian. Same with Fashola and Gbajabiamila. As such there's no faith discrimination in most Yorubas. You will hardly see their Children abusing one faith because of the other. There's this understanding of no compulsion in religion. To you your way to me mine. I think the world should try to learn how Yoruba co exist , especially with regards to religion. I always tell people; your ethnicity comes first and you don't choose it but your religion though usually based on that of yout parents can be changed by you as you grow. Hence religion should not a tool for dichotomy and the yorubas are too educated to understand that. |
Politics › Re: We Will Increase Tariff From July 1 - AEDC Alerts Customers by justmi1: 9:31pm On Jun 25, 2023 |
This would make people get prepaid metres by all means and manage power consumption. And also encourage investors in the power sector thereby resulting to competition and steady power. Trust me steady power is still always far cheaper than running generators |
Politics › Re: Bawa’s Suspension: Hurricane Tinubu Strikes Again – Adeyanju by justmi1: 8:40am On Jun 15, 2023 |
Deemas: So the same President Tinubu that removed subsidy swiftly/suddenly can not remove these chief executives of MDAs the same way, he is just firing one per week.
For me, this is too slow, fire the nonsense out of them all together just like subsidy was uprooted and let them handover to the most senior director pending the appointment of a substansive chief executive. All these Buhari's cabal people still in government sef.
Ehen that reminds me, I have noticed that these sacks come at night and by morning the sacked fellows are in DSS custody. Well, BATs mostly fly at night sha .
Me, I just cross my leg dey watch the way I have parked my Mercedes Benz with v6 engine for over a week now.
Nigeria oni baje o. it's not done that way bro. You have to be strategic and that also involves sequences. The president also needs valuable information from them before he strikes |

Bobloco: This is pure propaganda
How is these products finding their way to those countries. No one have been sacked for not doing his job in securing our borders or arrested by the security agencies for smuggling
Instead of tackling the issues, they keep running around move around bro and don't be quick to condemn government at every opportunity. I was in benin Republic last month: I travelled via boat from cms to Porto novo. Our boat driver stopped along the way to carry atleast 200 litres of fuel on that trip alone into benin Republic. For days I didn't see a functioning fuel station except fuel sold freely in kegs on the street at N500 plus in naira equivalent. The system is bad from top to bottom, but removing subsidy is a more holistic approach. |

Tflex01: Sometimes I wonder whether you guys really know how daft you all sound to ever imagine 25% in Abuja should decide who lead Nigeria.
It's like saying Adeleke should not be declared Osun state governor because he didn't get 25% in Oshogbo LG or makinde in Ibadan LG. Na English be thier problem. And FCT means FCT as the 37th state. FCT is seat of power and not a state hence you can't simply say 37 states. It's just like saying 10 boys and 1 girl instead of saying 11people. |

Married people (men/women)don't always ask for money. So, many of them are doing it for the pleasure not for financial gains. Those of them who are good financially, especially older ones, would even pamper you finish.
If a married wo/man makes herself available to u for sex, and it is not against ur principle, f@ck the hell out of them. U don't ve any moral obligation towards their partner. Karma won't affect u. We are too emotional and sentimental as Nigerians. No big deal here. As a business man that needs patronage or more patronage, you run a promo or discount to attract more customers for a set period, the promo is discontinued once aim is achieved. In actual fact continuing business at that promo rate is not realistic. Same as this scenario. He did that for his re election. It's strategy and it worked for him. If the promo is sustained and his government can't deliver on other projects, people will still complain. |
