Xorcyst: higreat thread. pls i have a question. i applied for entry visa tier 4 against sept and was turned down because the money in my account did not stay in the account for 28days(going by the conversion @ 250 naira to one pound)i obtained admission for jan2011 @ the same school, updated my school fees such that i dont have any out standing and have gotten a fresh cas. my bank statement now has the required 5400 GBP in it. 1. can i apply for a visa afresh without any problems? 2. do i have to show evidence of accomodation? 3 do i have to submit all the docs i did the last time(as i now know some where irrelevant) 4. do i need the english testing thingie>? Sure u can make afresh application but nobody can promise u a trouble-free application, though its posible but not 100% guaranteed. You don't need to show evidence of accommodation though u can if u want. The only doc you have to submit are those listed as requirements. ur CAS, bank statement, certificates/transcript. etc |

lolatom: thanks for the prompt response, do i need to request the school to send an official copy of my transcripts to the embassy or I will send the student copy? keep the good work up. I don't really know about that, though i think some pple do send it straigh to the embassy while others send the student copy. I hope somebody who has done it sees this and clarify it. |

lolatom: thanks for the prompt response. the school is ready to accept my application with my transcript but my concern is would the embassy request for my certificate? the uni hasn't taken any decision yet on my certificate If the school accept only the transcript then thats all u need to submit to the embassy for visa application. |

funkybaby: didnt the uni ask for a copy of his passport, visa, etc . . . . considering the fact he paid the fees under the 'international students' category? i am also guessing that he must have obtained a degree before from the same uni? right? He was swtiching from PSW to student visa, he applied for the MSC course with PSW which expired last month, his first degree was not with the same uni. |

funkybaby: na wa for your guy. which kind mistake abi na oversight be that one? why didnt he put the lump sum in one account?
so did he submit the 3 different bank statements with the appeal ? Exactly what i thought. He put some of the money in ISA and some in monthly savings then his current account, then moved them to one account when he was about to apply for the visa. Now he wants to submit all the 3 bank accounts for the appeal, to show that the money has been in those 3 different account for more than 28days b4 he moved them to one account. |

funkybaby: okay. he didnt leave the funds in the account for 28days? is that the reason for the refusal? if he appeals, do you think he has a strong/valid case? the new rules are quite clear and straightforward. except its an error on the part of the person that assessed the application According to him, the money was in 3 different accounts within the same bank for more than 28days then when he wanted to apply for the visa, he moved the money into one account to avoid submitting too many bank accounts and he also explained that in his application form. |

funkybaby: it shouldnt take long if its within the UK. what category did the person apply for? Student visa?
was the person asked to leave the UK within 28days after the refusal? Yea student visa, he was given the right to appeal and also given the option to leave if he decide not to appeal. |

funkybaby: spot on. @bimpels1 the course you applied to study. . . . . when does lectures, etc commence? Does it take that long for somebody applying for review in the UK? My mate was refused cos of 28days rules and he is trying to appeal the decision. |

kadman: ^^ YOU were the one who first started with the "pick-on me" phrases - a common term associated with bullying (that should give some insight on the mentality which you think on here).
He said you are not civil, and you turned it to a "pick-on me" "pick-on you" ish. Yes he picked on me first and that is what its, u can interpret it to whatever u want, i couldn't give a monkey. Like i said b4, when i got nothing doing, i will remember him. |

If this isn't ''cyber bullying" . . I don't know what is. Yes its not cyber bullying when he said he can pick on me whenever he feels BUT its cyber bullying when i reply? |
