No, you don't need to do that, you present both at the airport and the new one will be stamped.

As a student traveling outside the UK she need to get a letter from her university. I think she can get the visa without ur 'help'

if you want to spend some few days that means u have 2 get a business visa (2weeks) from here (Dubai), UAE dont issue visa outside the country. you can only get the visa thru the agent or hotels over here and emirates airline. if I may ask, which passport are u holding?

So u are now an agent? Letter from the school is necessary if u are traveling as a student.

Hi NLI want to go to UK for a visit in december on a tourist visa. My brothers PhD graduation also comes up then, so i am in a fix as touching which visa to apply for. I'v got some advice earlier, but now, the issue is my brother has sent the relevant docs for his graduation - an IV letter from him, a statement of his account (dont know if d bal is OK o), and others. He needs to get the IV from his school. signed and stamped by the school else ur chances of getting a visa is zero. Apply for family visit and make sure u have a strong tie to Nigeria.

12,000 is for accommodation and feeding within the university and it is well stated on the CAS and Unconditional offer letter and they said that is it what I must write on the visa form, the course is expensive everywhere. Also I've paid the 1000 pounds non-refundable deposit so I can not shop around for another school. I can defer with the 1000 pounds said the Admission Officer. the course is being taught by The Royal Veterinary College and The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in conjunction with International organizations like Veterinary Laboratory Agencies VLA and Office des Epizootics OIE, WHO, reasons for it to be expensive I think. UK, US and some EU countries are short of Epidemiologists, in fact there are few specialists in Epidemiology in Nigeria and there is job placement for them. A friend of mine just finished from RVC and he's got a job even before graduation. He is in Cambridge now. Other cheaper course is Public Health and everybody does it. Epidemiology is not a common course and is all encompassing embracing Statistics, Public health, Community health, Human and Animal Preventive Medicine, so it's my choice, Please can you add me on messenger so that we can chat better.Thanks a bunch

The school is just turning you to their cash machine, accommodation outside uni is far more cheaper, forget about the feeding side cos u will still end up eating outside, its not a requirement for you to leave in uni accommodation or even book accommodation B4 applying for visa.

Anyway. . . i just get fed up when i see how some schools here are trying to milk every last unnessary kobo out of foreign students.

@Justwise: you are right, the tuition fee is 15,150 pounds while the maintenance according to CAS is 12,000 pounds making 27,150 pounds and it's a huge money that one should enjoy very very well, so i want to enjoy every bit of it and for that reason I will have to wait till next year September and I will start my visa application by April next year. Maintenance money is £7200 in london and not £12,000 that CAS info is incorrect. Have you shop around to see if there are other uni offering the same course?

I had a belief that since my documentation was correct and perfect then resumption date should not be a problem but to my surprise I was refused on the grounds that the school resumed Monday September 27 and the latest date was the next Monday October 4, and if you remember vividly Friday October 1 was the Independence Day, so Monday to Thursday were just 4 working days and I submitted on that Monday September 27. [b]I feel that if I go for Admin Review (which normally takes 28 days i.e 1 month), they will still say that the school had resumed since September 27 i.e 2 months ago, so i can not join them as late student when i could not join them in the first place as a late student just a week after resumption. You just said it all on the bolded part. You will not be doing urself any favour by joining them months late. Masters is just 9-10months, if u joined by Dec then u have missd a semester, leaving you with only one semester left, that is not value for the money you paid

If you are visiting relative then that person will act as ur sponsor and you get a letter from ur uni here, go to the international office and they will give you a letter. Some genuine posters will contribute as well.

There is no Jan admission, my course is Veterinary Epidemiology at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, so I have to defer till next year September. I submitted on that 27/09/2010 because I kept my tuition and maintenance in my account on the 30/08/2010 so 27/09 was when I completed the consecutive 28 day period stuff, Thanks I really appreciate it, There was a time I emailed you for a piece of advice but you did not reply.

My apologies, maybe i did not see it as i reply every email i get from pple, the email could have landed in the junk email.

You made a mistake by submitting the visa application form late, there is no way you would have made it.

If ur school has Jan admission season then defer ur course and re-apply sometimes next month for Jan admission but u need to obtain another CAS from ur school

in support of justwise proficiency in german is mandatory for bsc and msc programme,and tuition is abt 750/semester for non eu students ,guys be wise ooo

Very good point, i have a family member who travelled there and couldn't study without enrolling in German language class.

The mean issue is that I have done a semester already, just came to renew my papers oo since june.
