i have my personal bank statement with a balance of $3000
i have my hotel booking comfirmation
i have my letter from my university,

i am going to visit uk for the period of ten days

I think i shud have the entire amount soon. Is it true that i have to make one last transaction before I take the print out of the statement, to show that this is my closing balance?

You can do that IF ur bank statement doesn't show closing balance but if it does then there is no point making the last transaction.

There is nothing wrong in depositing the money that way, and its not mandatory to transfer the lump,not even a good idea.

If don't have time to get another original copy then submit the laminated copy, i guess the BHC is used to the issue of laminated documents with Nigerians now.
