hello justwise, please advice needed. The date of birth in my waec certificate and that in my e-passport do not tally, and i have already used both to get an offer from aberdeen. now i am about to go and apply for my visa, i do not know what to do, i heard it might be a problem having diff Dob in my waec and my e-pee.

How did u manage to do that? Using 2 different DOB? Obviously it will raise an eyebrow if the BHC noticed it. I think u should go to the court with any of ur parents and do age declaration. You have to also think about the prob it may cause in future.

@honesty30

Absolutely nonsense. Pple should stay far away from you.

Kelly whiskey:
Foladitan thanks for the reply i appreciate it much. I confirmed it with accredited service for international colleges (asic) they replyed me by email that the college i'm applying to is recongnised and accredited and also listed on the B sponsor in UKBA. I have paid 50% of the tuition fee. But i am expecting the visa letters from the school. I pray by the grace of God they wud send the visa letters early so i shud be going to the embassy. The school is resuming by september. Foladitan.

There are alot of fake websites out there with fake list of registered schools. Check if ur school is listed here http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/employersandsponsors/pointsbasedsystem/registerofsponsorseducation. If its not then u got no hope of getting a visa

giggsy:
@justwise Hi, I will be applying for my student visa this month. I got this info that the BHC has been calling up the phone numbers listed on applicants certificates/statement of results/ transcripts for verification and cases of visa refusals when the numbers do not connect. I don't know how true this is but I tried the numbers on my documents (land-line numbers which did not connect, lol). I was advised to get a letter of attestation confirming the authenticity of my documents from the university with updated contact numbers. What do you think? Thanks.

I think you should do that, they do call schools and banks for verification, so its only fair that u supply a number that works.

Justwise

Not all agents are bad. China visa is very hard to get in Nigeria for virgin passports.

Show me any genuine agent here. Getting China visa is hard because of our reputation.

stechi:
@justwise:

why are just being unneccessarily insultive.

try and be modest enough to give your opinion without insults. Afterall, its not bad to request for information from the public.
@chinboy: I am the poster and have never posted how much it will cost for a chinese visa nor have I informed the public that I am an agent. For Christ's sake, you guys should always read through on issues before posting wrong information for public viewing.

My initial post weren't directed to you but judging by ur reply, its clear that u are a dodgy individual. Why not contact those promising to help you get the visa? Why do you care about what we said? Its ur life, ur money and time will tell. You will join thousands of Nigerians in Chinese prison.

Uniagent:
Tirex, thanks alot, many Nigerians are so naive and disrespectful that when they see genuine opportunity, they will start abusing the person trying to help others.

@ Basy-Black, pls send your WAEC OR NECO results, Birth Cert or passport info page, A passport seize photograph, High school leaving testimonial or any letter from your high school to (uniagent2000@yahoo.com). for master program, send with above documents with your degree transcript and academic reference letter.

Only a silly person will send you any personal document, for those sending u emails, i feel sorry for them, their eyes will open when u finished them up. You are nothing but a dubious individual looking for pple to dupe

tony13:

drake2:
There are lots of Jobs in Nigeria, but only the brilliant ones who separated themselves from the 'dugbe' crowed are getting the Jobs and not necessarily all that is educated.
I guarantee you, if you spend all your time cleaning in a UK University without distinguishing urselve in Academic work; finding Jobs in Nigeria will certainly be a problem on your return. Why not school in the Universities of Ibadan, Lagos, Ife, Nigeria, Benin e.t.c where u don't have to clean to survive, but when u come out with a 2.1 or 1. you can get Job with ease.
My Friends and I in this category change Jobs at will; besides Government Jobs where they seem not to be transparent, so many jobs are published in the newsprint everyday and i guarantee dat u won't get any of them no matter how good u clean shamelessly with a 2.2 or 3rd class.

Why do we have alot of jobless Nigerian graduates since you claimed that there are jobs everywhere in Nigeria?
You seems to be the only Nigerian that changes job at will and knows where all the jobs are. He is not doing a cleaning job as a career here.

If we have good system of education in Nigeria, i don't think many pple will be paying millions here to do a yr course.

@tony13

Contact you for? You print visa?

@ olyluv

Yes God will be on the side of anybody that stays away from you.

jade5268:
hi,
please i want to find out if it is compulsory to get the new e passport before i apply for my study visa, does anyone know if the bhc has rules against this. i was planning on applying with the old passport which is still valid and getting the new one later before the dec deadline
thank you

Its better u get the e-passport,it takes less than 2wks.

drake2:
She was frustrated just like anybody could. It ain't any uglier cos she was a Nigerian; Other Nationals have done worse things to their fellow Country Persons.

And may i ask, what the heck was ogumola doing cleaning job for anyway? Nigerians come back and pick up decent Jobs

What loads of rubbish are u talking about? So cos she was fustrated she should go around leveling that kind of allegation on innocent person?

Talking about job. . .foreign students here picks up those unskilled jobs for extra cash while they study here and there is nothing shameful about it.

Where is that ur 'decent' job waiting for him in Nigeria?

stechi:
How much will it cost me to travel to China on a visit (inclusive of return ticket with direct flights).
Thanks

If you can't complete visa application form or ask questions where confused then u are not fit to travel abroad. What do you need agent for?

Kelly whiskey:
Iyke D. I wud advise u go with the uk admission so u wont have to regret it in future. Although we all know dt schooling in the uk is nt free and nt cheap its quite expensive but u r guaranteed of a job in the uk. U can work and at the same time be schooling in the uk. And the good news is that the cost of living is not high its affordable for even an average working student. U will find life good in the uk. But sweden although we all know its free but the cost of living is very high in sweden. Go through their site u wud see it there. And i also heard there is hardly job opportunities in sweden. So thats what i suggest lyke D. Dont make thd wrong decision today.

Please stop giving pple misleading info.

Uniagent:
The admission ends in August 31! Do not give any body any money, Just send your applications and your enquiries to my email address. Seize this opportunity and never mind haters and some crime minded Nairalanders

You are a scammer, name that school here, why should pple send their details to you first? Who are you? What do they know about you?

mi 2010:
Hi my fellow brothers and sisters, plz i need your advice. I am about to move to Norway from Nigeria, probably this will be next month being August. can somebody in Norway keep me update of life over there? is it a good place for husling? Iam going as a visitor but when i get there i will go and seek asylum. Please help me with a good information about Norway. thanks

What will be ur reason for seeking asylum? War in Nigeria?

blackspade:
This is somewhat true, but for everything to be finalized (if they don't call the sham marriage), I think it takes a couple of years. Nothing is guaranteed.

Its risky, expensive and may end in tears.

@ oluwa12002

I knew all along that you are into something like this. I really wish you bad luck as you go around looking for victims here.
Guy, we know the statement will be verified, the question is "do they have any legal right to verify your account balance and if they do, how will they word the refusal letter since the account is genuine. shey them go talk say the balance is considerably low for a swedish student visa, all i know is that there is not way they can word the refusal letter without giving away the bank that told them your balance, which is anoda big issue for banks. It can affect them adversely. They can scan the statement to the bank and ask them to take a look at it and confirm its authenticity that it emanated from the bank. I need strong prove that bank they release people balance to 3rd party. U think say embassy silly, they will never be complicit in a case where an applicant is holding a bank responsible for loss of fund or theft on his account owing to the fact that they released his balance to a 3rd party recently. You can even sue embassy if anything goes wrong in your account, alleging them of complicit in your loss of fund, as you dont know the transfer parameter of the information sought on your account by the embassy, you can claim your bank info has fallen into the hands of fraudsters courtsy embassy. Some people say they make calls to confirm balance, as much as they do that, the embassy that does that is crazy, phone conversation is not admissible in court, embassy is wise enough to know that they need paper evidence of your verification to put in your file in case of anything. The bank verifying officer contact must be in the paper to be held on file
Embassies do verify bank accounts and they are not breaking ANY law, you can't sue the embassy or the bank. If the embassy has any suspicion about bank details submitted by an applicant, the embassy has the right to call the bank to verify that particular bank statement

Uniagent:
please mimu, send your message and enquiries to this email (uniagent2000@yahoo.com)

mimu2000:

Murat:
