Walk into your bank and ask for form A, they should be able to help you with even better exchange rate

Bro, relax I am yet to see or hear any evidence of the immigration officers checking your proof of fund at the port of entering the UK. The most probable question they could ask is questions related to your field of study or programme and destinations In the UK.POF is dealt with at UKvi. (My opinion).

Nobody has that time to confirm the proof of the fund already used for a visa, you have the right to transfer your money after your visa or pay the full tuition and necessary bills, accommodation and all the things you wish. See oyinbo understands all these things, look if they don't want you to school in the uk why do you think they give you 28 days of pof. Its Just to make things easy base on their new policy, they want to achieve a certain number of skilled labour from graduate route.

Hence the reason the process is not too difficult. The one that shocked me was my friend who forgot that he needed to do a TB test, he had kept his money for 28 days printed it out and on getting to TLS he was asked, he quickly left there went back to book TB with IOM but later to gate crashed and did it after two weeks. He still got his visa. He is in Birmingham now. Lol.
They do have all the time to do that if they have reasonable suspicion, I have watched them in a TV documentary matched a Nigerian to a cash machine at the airport to check his account balance. It turns out he doesn't have the money as claimed.

Thought he was on visiting visa but the point I'm trying to make is that they can verify anything at any point.

I think you should also be deleting comments of people asking for groups outside this platform. I innocently was responding to a request and not promoting the mentioned platform. However, this is noted.
You will struggle to find any post of people asking or dropping link here. You will also see where i posted warning about whatsapp group here.

Hello everyone

@justwise et all, please can I use my mom's account to apply for cas now and afterward use my own account for visa application?.
My mom will like to transfer the fund to me however, she has enough fund in her account already for more than a month. I intend getting a case now and apply for visa by August due to some reasons..
Will there be any problem when applying for visa?
Don't do that, be consistent with your dealing with school and the embassy

Justwise banned my 10years old account till 2045, I was like...What!!!!... All because I want to assist people with Form A processing maximum of 24-48hrs cos my floor is next to the fund transfer team of where I work and I shared a list of contacts that can facilitate transcript.(Later I realized you can’t post someone’s mobile number on NL).

Since then na to dey look.

Justwise, one day we go jam. For now I’ll copy @lagosismyhome last paragraph
You are lying, show me the ID i banned purely because of that.

I'm no supporter of insulting others (which is one of the reasons I avoid altercations, especially online), but from what I can remember I dont recall insults flying unless that happened after I tuned out.

Lol.
I dont remember the details of the discussion between justwise and the Ralph Lauren chap, I usually tune out when matters drag on like they did that time, but I think the chap was bent on proving his point (which I thought and still think correct). However, you've wielded the ban stick on him long enough, let him back in, and let's learn to tolerate all the various beings we've got in here as long as they're making contributions of some help to some people.

No you can not tolerate all sorts of things, line has to be drawn. You can make your point without insulting others

You still don’t get it, do you?
It’s not about opening the door, it’s about not giving anyone a reason to knock at your door in the first place.
Applying for an exemption - which is the right and legal thing to do - takes less than 2 minutes. Now, if you do the right thing, no one will show up at your door, and you will have no reason to hide/slam the door/tell them you are not home, like my uncle Lexus grin
Yea we are shouting the law the law but still want a terrorist to come into the country just for the sake of your grand kids?

No.
You try and figure out the word that you are deliberately omitting for reasons best known to you.

The whole debate (if I recall correctly) was about TV licensing.

Watching live TV without license in the UK is a crime.

Maybe you should unban ralph first.
You are unbelievable, read the last post from Regex you want to

Justwise, I beg you in the name of God. Stop misinforming the uninformed. It’s not fair.

Watching live T. V in the uk on any gadget whether phone, tablet, TV, laptop without a TV license is a crime.

Granted, there were plans and moves by Govt to decriminalise it (I think sometime in 2020). In that plan, the intention was to make offenders to pay fine, and not face criminal charges. But that was only the Plan.

As things are in the UK today. Watching live Tv without a Tv license is a crime.

Well well.. at this point, let me stop arguing with the all-knowing Justwise before he bans me too like he did with RalphJean.

OK. Bye.
How many times do i need to repeat this before you paused and think? Watching TV without a license is not a crime. try and figure out the missing word there and then stop arguing

But that he could just ban someone fir disagreeing with him? That’s a no no.

@Justwise, you felt insulted because someone disagreed with you? On this forum? And it’s nit like the person engaged in unwholesome practices or undermine the objectives of Nairaland?

Bros, you need to be different from the Buhari that we so chastise.
How did you arrived at that?

Justwise, you are being untruthful here.
Some of us followed that argument very carefully.
That guy NEVER called you a criminal.
If I recall correctly, and I am sure I recall correctly. The guy said not paying Tv licence is a criminal offense in the uk. Which is very true.

I dare you to unban him, then bring back all his posts that you deleted, and show us exactly where he insulated you.
You only follow my post and not his/yoours(you know who you are)

Read back to see the insults because they are not hidden neither did i delete them. I'm not going to help you on this

Watching TV without license is not a crime.
