debbyomi: Why don't you use your husband's statement and include yours.
It shows ties back home. Your intention to return to your husband with sustainable income.
Can you draft a letter on behalf of your mom's company? The letter should state that you have been volunteering for a certain period (ongoing perhaps ) and also state the functions you perform. Also a meritorious award for 2016 and/or 2017 for your outstanding service to the organisation.
You wouldn't need payslips if you aren't paid salary.
All the best Really? An award from his mum right? You really think Vos are stupid to believe such |

My dad will bear the responsibility for everything pls i need your advice That is the main problem with your case, it doesn't really matter that your daddy will be paying for everything the problem is that you don't have strong tie to Nigeria. The embassy will not believe that you will return back to Nigeria at the end of your visit so getting a visa will be tough. |

deebaby05: We applied for settlement visa. I provided pictures from birth, naming, birthdays, baptism in the church, infact all pictures, birth certificates, school receipts from when they started school, school reports, graduations pic, awards etc.
ECO actually made an error in the refusal letter that we made the application in the Gambia instead of typing nigeria and said he/she isn't sure am their mum cos I didn't register their birth with census immediately after birth meanwhile I didn't register immediately too for the 3rd girl and she was granted, she is 4 years old while the others are 10 and 8years old.
Immediately we got the refusal, I went for Immigration purpose DNA be4 coming to the UK so I have that on ground. That is the right cause of action you have taken, i can't really see anything wrong with your application considering what you submitted Reapply with the DNA result. |

panafrican: Elections are not free and fair when uninformed voters herd up to vote for someone just because he is in the opposition. People want to vote although they even don't know how to vote, I mean they don't know what they are voting for. It is dangerous for the country, that was why Mugabe got some of them beaten up.
Tsvangirai was campaigning. not only that he plotted in Canada to kill Mugabe. It is on YouTube. So that is a good thing then? They were beaten up because they voted for the opposition and not Mugabe? And you are here defending such a leader? |

panafrican: There are elections in Zimbabwe and Mugabe won them all. The only deal is opposition believes an election is fair only if they win. Starting ? They are not homeless like the millions of people on the streets in Europe. Not only that, Zimbabweans are not the only people going to S.A. There are Nigerians ,Senegalese, etc. And Mugabe was not president there. There is no free and fair election in Zimbabwe, the opposition party are not even allowed to campaign freely, can't air their campaign ad on national tv or newspaper. Mugabe is selected every 5yrs to continue in office with nobody dare to oppose him. There are more homeless people in Zimbabwe than i have seen in a street of Europe, kids beg and sleep on the street.Schools closed down as teachers are not paid. Zimbabwe has no currency as US dollar replaces Zim dollar. I'm not sure you know jack about Zimbabwe. |

panafrican: How old is Queen Elizabeth of the U.K ? She will be 93 in less than a month! How long has she been in power ? 66 years.
Now the strength and the mind: She is still driving her car ! Not only that she is way smater and has more integrity than those young thugs Tony Blair , David Cameron and France 's con called Nicolas Sarkozy. Their foolishness combined is nothing but a bunch of lies and the itching desire to start a war and plunder a country.
Due to their actions millions of people were displaced, killed , tortured or missing in Iraq, Syria, Cote d' Ivoire or Libya. And the world is still paying a huge price today with radical Islam; body parts trafficking and homosexuality running the show.
So what are people saying here about Mugabe's age and his ability to perform his duty as a president? Mugabe gave the land back to native Zimbabweans, no one is starving, Zimbabwe is among the top countries in the world with high literacy rate .Not only that he did not tolerate homosexuality , thanks to that his country has a healthy population , HIV rate is among the lowest in the world. Queen Elizabeth is not ruling the UK, she is not a member of any political party, she is just a ceremonial head of state and makes no political decision that affects the day to day running of United Kingdom. The UK conduct an election every 5yrs to elect a prime minister. Your example doesn't add up. Your knowledge of Zimbabwe situation is very poor, yes many are starving and dying in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe HIV rate is one of the highest in the world and the health sector is almost non existent, educational system collapsed because these sectors rely on subside from foreign countries. Please get your facts right next time. |

Lexusgs430: Right to Family life cannot be denied (within reason) ..... We have seen applicants on this thread with similar issues and spousal visa was still issued (at either 1st attempt or upon appeal)......
All he needs to do is open his book, confess, plead and promise to be of good behaviour, going forward.........
So what do you suggest? His wife resides in the UK, while he sticks to residency in Nigeria (wife running over, when catarrh is almost blocking his nostrils)? You know that means close to nothing, right to family life makes sense on paper but realistically people still get deported leaving wife/gf and kid in the UK. He should apply and own up to his previous immigration issues but what i'm saying is that the idea that spouse visa forgives all previous offenses is largely untrue, there are consequences for such crime and we should not give people false hopes. |

ChangeIsCostant: The Lagos State Police Command has dismantled a major fraud haven situated at No. 48, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, and operated by a 26-year-old cyber criminal cum fraud kingpin, Samuel Olowobola Gboyega.
His arrest followed a petition addressed to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Edgal Imohimi, by one Antonio Kaplanis of the Embassy of Greece, Abuja, alleging that the suspect had fraudulently obtained huge sums of money from unsuspecting Nigerians seeking visa to travel to Europe by claiming to be an employee of the Embassy of Greece with a mandate to make visa procurement easy for applicants.
Sequel to the above, the CP Lagos deployed crack detectives from the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) to fish out the culprit and his partners in crime. The detectives swung into action immediately the order was given. They located the suspect's hideout and carried out a sting operation on him. During the operation, some Nigerian passports, laptops and other visa related documents were recovered from the criminal's operating theatre.
Further scrutiny of the laptop confirmed that there were documents in the notepad that had different embassy visas and their respective price tags. It was also seen that the said Samuel Olowobola Gboyega made false presentations through publications on his website: www.kukutravels.com, attaching the name of Embassy of Greece to it.
The CP noted with sadness that the activities of the young man had dented the image of the nation and greatly embarrassed the Embassy of Greece in Nigeria. He warned people behind this kind of crime to have a rethink or have the law to contend with.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been charged to court for the offences he committed.

jnyuwa02: That is right. I agree. His actions coming as VisaOfficer0 after been banned the first time as VisaOfficer1, is a giveaway. Certainly raises an eyebrow at least. There are names he could have chosen that allows him to contribute legitimately to the ongoing discourse. We are all for that. But that he decided to choose a name that would either create fear in people's mind whether there is a real visa officer here eavesdropping on our conversations; or one that misleeds people into thinking he is a visa officer due to his command of information, is the fatal error of judgement and hubris he committed. If Justwise will allow him come back with a less divisive appellation for a name, he is certainly welcome back to the table of discussion. Exactly! Already people here have started speculating that we have Canadian visaofficer in our midst, all i wanted to establish is whether he is one or not because the only person that registered that ID here is actual American embassy VO. He wasn't forth coming with a straightforward answer and when that ID was blocked he registered another one. I have to be proactive and when i see something suspicious i take appropriate action. You don't close the stable door after the horse has bolted. |

When the first American visaofficer joined this forum 5yrs ago and started a thread i removed that thread and asked for proof that she is truly an American visaofficer, she quickly responded with email and names for confirmation which we did and was satisfied that she is not an impersonator.
We currently have two American visaofficers here helping out without any issue.
I asked this individual if he/her is a Canadian visaofficer, not just visaofficer but a Canadian visaoficer, the individual behind the ID gave unconvincing answer and continue posting. I blocked that ID and ask for a proof that he/she is actually from Canadian embassy.
The individual decided to create another ID to tell me that his name is Clark and that he is a visaofficer then he went ahead to mention a website created by Immigration lawyer he knows.
Clark who? There are thousand of Clarks out there, anybody can claim to be a visaofficer in a faceless forum like this, so i'm not fooled by that childish act.
I expected a visaofficer from Canadian embassy to be professional and mature. |

Austinpee4: I hope i can. But certainly, your action today didn't affirm the main essence of this forum and what it stands for. I hope you too would do better even as we acknowledge your effort in pinning out unwanted individuals, posts and atmosphere. It is certainly not about whether there is a visa officer here or not but most certainly about the quality and accuracy of the information provided to help people. But if we think everything and everybody is about scams, then too bad. A good strategy can help when you have to find out about one.
Regards. That is exactly the issue here don't tell me you don't know this. |
