@OP, Getting married to an EU citizen you absolutely love doesn't come off as desperate!!! Getting an EU passport is secondary not the primary reason to marry a person.

@justwise, kindly go to the USA visit visa thread to post your response. If nairaland wasn't a faceless online forum, boiz go beat hell outta you when you advice against getting married to an American therefore preventing them from being able to adjust status.

For the record, Lemme just state clearly that getting married to an EU/American/Australia citizen isn't illegal neither does your action come off as desperate UNLESS you do not love the person and your sole purpose for pursuing the marriage was for immigration benefits.

The Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State while on routine patrol during the ongoing Easter Special Patrol Operations at KM 27 Lagos - Ibadan expressway around Alapako at about 1015 hrs on Saturday 31 March, 2018 rescued a crash which involved..

11 people comprising 3Male adult ,6 Female adult and ,2 Female children..

There were no deaths but 9 of the passengers comprising 3 Male adult and 6 Female adult sustained various degrees of injuries.

The suspected cause of the crash was tyre burst by the speeding bus which lost control. The injured victims were taken to Ifeoluwa hospital Ogunmakin for medical treatment and the road obstruction cleared.

Thereafter the victims properties inside the ill-fated bus were conveyed to FRSC Command at KM 27 at OgunMakin where on routine documentation the sum of Two Million Ninety-six thousand seven hundred and seventy naira only N2,096,770.00 was recovered.

Upon diligent investigation a female passenger of the crashed bus by name Mrs Asabi Adenike, of Ibadan, who sustained injuries and undergoing medical attention was identified as the owner of the bag containing the recovered money .

Upon contacting her relatives, she authorized that the FRSC hands over the recovered money to her mother Mrs .Bisola Adedeji.

Well am not desperate or being like desperado as some naija boiz or men do.
I have business here I do and am still working here in Lagos Nigeria ,I work for myself.
Even if I travel I won't close down my business, am only trying to find help for easier way to study in abroad and hustle.
As per your question, only if u have good cgpa in universities or good waec that can fetch u scholarships bcoz Buhari has withdrawn Nigeria out of so many organizations and fellowship that we can benefit from in abroad.
If you apply for scholarship then who will fund it for u? Scholarships are being funded by ur county govt, or a company .
Last year many Nigerians in UK were deported back to naija and they were on scholarship program, this is because our govt didnt pay for it This time.
So before u apply for scholarship program, u need to have good waec grades or ur university degree on high cgpa first before applying.

it's quite unfortunate that some people got it wrongly, i hate lies, i just tabled my case and some people got it wrongly, i was very busy in the office the day that form was filled so i gave it to my secretary to fill it for me and ask me any question she does not understand but i was surprise when i went through the form the next day when she gave it to me and discovered the mistake. i traveled to Israel 2016 and Gambia 2017. i need the best solution to this.

I totally get it sir. Try any relatively new public university in Spain (I had a list before but I've lost it). Spainish Universities easily give out admission especially for M.sc programmes. Moreover, If you do decide to school in Spain, getting an EU passport is easier and more doable. Get married to a Spanish woman, get a resident permit, wait just one year after marriage and apply for naturalisation and get your Spanish passport (EU passport). Regarding your admission, try Ujaen. I had a very pleasant experience with them.

my trip was for the company i work for although it was stated that i will fund the trip because my boss wanted me to prove am financially capable of taking care of myself,[b][/b] and am been paid via bank transfer.

I will advise that it is safer to get a transit visa. A colleague of mine was recently prevented from boarding his flight on BA to italy via Heathrow because he did not have a transit visa. He had to resort to buying another ticket on the spot and travelled on a Lufthansa flight.

Also my sponsor wants to use Western Union to send money to me monthly in lieu of bank transfer which I will keep in my savings account. The charges for transfer is on the high side $75 per transfer. So can she go ahead with Western Union?

Good morning justwise and co. I have been following the thread with keen interest. I plan to travel to the UK early next year in March to sit for the plab2 exam. I want to plan it carefully so as not to have problems. My main issue has to do with my salary account and sponsor. I earn 340k monthly. I'm repaying a Microfinance loan of 1 million of which 106k is deducted from my salary every month. It will end in November this year. By the time I make expenses for family and remove savings to my savings account the account is next to zero.
Secondly my sponsor who is my mum is residing in the U.S. She has agreed to send money to me monthly before I travel. My question is this.
1. Is it ok for my salary account to be next to zero?
2. My sponsor wants to send money via bank transfer which costs $75 each time she does so which is expensive for her. Can she use Western Union or MoneyGram?
3. Is it even alright to transfer money to me monthly without causing problems for the Visa application?
I plan to budget 2million for the trip which includes my air ticket, accommodation exam fee and feeding for 34days.
