Frankrobbn1: justwise,
I'm not in any way persuaded that he/she is a Canadian visa officer. What I'm simply saying, is that the information he/she has, its something that is needed here. You should have given him/her chance to contribute their quota to this great forum. What the moniker has got to offer is very important. That was the essence of having this forum. We don't care if he/she is a visa officer or not. Let them contribute!!!!
Edited: Within this short period of his/her stay, you can see how the moniker has gained popularity by intending applicants on this forum, everyone thought that a Visa officer(saviour) is here to solve all their worries, this is to show that if this moniker were to be chanced to stay on this great forum for a long period of time, then this forum will be above its sky limit
All the same, the deed has been done, so we forge ahead.
Cc: Visaofficer1 & Visaofficer0 , it's sad this could happen to you within 24hours of joining the thread. Please find a way to return back to the forum okay. But don't use the same name as a visa officer(It's not safe for you).
Peace!!! You are and its obvious. |

Frankrobbn1: Austinpee4,
I agree on this, because the moniker by name visaofficer1 answers to queries here are perfectly correct, most especially on the guy given 15 days ultimatum to provide a new bank statement and a letter from the bank attesting the genuinety of the bank statement, the guidelines given to the applicant is enough reason to show that the moniker visaofficer1 is an advanced person in immigration matters to Canada. I think, we need such an individual here, that will proffer perfect answers to us that will aid prospective applicants their study visa approval. I noticed he was banned twice by Justwise, which made him came back with another moniker Visaofficer0 . That wasn't too good.
@Justwise , I crave your indulgence to look into that moniker and find a way to take off the ban you gave to him. We need such intelligent people here. Perfect answers with possible solutions.
Thank you! You people are too gullible, there is no Canadian visa officer here yet. |

While i understand that you have to apply strict measures as to how and who use the forum, i still suggest you accommodate people that can give or have given very vital and accurate information.
All we should do is to look out for how they avail this information while also mentioning that folks should apply caution in who ever they get involved with.
To be very honest with you, whether @Visaofficer1 or @Visaofficer0 is actually a visa officer or not, the quality of responses given today is typical of a knowledgeable person that might just be of tremendous help here. I noticed you deleted all his posts including the response to your question of him being a visa officer. Those information honestly are some of the most accurate i have seen on this thread in a long while.
If i were you, i would have observed the moniker closely, observe how he/she interacts here or better still confirm from sources of his indulgence.( i noticed he even mentioned his name and where you can source about him) while also pointing it out clearly that people should be lerry of who and how the indulge with people they meet on here. Anybody can claim anything but what is more vital is the information given here and how they are presented. It quite unfortunate you didn't give him and members here a chance to get to see how he interacts with the knowledge he has.
Disclaimer: i do not know@visaofficer1/visaofficer0 But i see much sense in his posts.
You can do better than this. Try harder next time. |

If i were to go by your responses and profile, i most likely would agree that a consular officer has finally joined the Canadian study thread as seen in the US study thread.
If this is the case, you are welcome. The precision and accuracy in your responses leaves a lot to look out for moving forward. How do you know this? I'm not aware of any Canadian VO joining this thread and until confirmed people should trade carefully. |

MasterforceII: Hi. What if you aim to proceed to top North American schools for PhD after an MSc in the UK. Is this a good plan? How revered are UK schools in this regard? The UK certificate is widely respected around the world so it will give an added advantage especially if your certificate is from one of the top universities in the UK. |

JaySea: Justwise, if you follow Gaby's story you will get the impression that travelling to Europe as an illegal immigrant is not only dangerous but wasteful. Gaby has clearly been dissuading readers from taking that path. His story will do more of that in a captivating and entertaining way and as a result reach more young people who will learn valuable lessons. Allow Gaby please.
Gaby, may I suggest a title; "In Search of Eldorado: My Journey for a better life in Europe". Just a suggestion. I have not and i never come across his ID or post before. |

You really know how to talk nonsense, how will i hate somebody i never had issues with before or even know, i have not being following his story neither have i ever come across his post or ID before If you needed to read his story to know why you should not travel to Europe through the desert then you are hopelessly ignorant |

EMMAACHILE: Its not on the website. Though if you are running an ecommerce store, it wont be a problem since its online. I know of the Netherlands where its not even allowed for a student to freelance. That doesn't matter its still work and you will be paid through the banking system which means that tax man will be after you. Its against the student visa rule in many EU countries UK included |

EMMAACHILE: There will be no more need to be employed if you are earning this high. This question will instead be, are students and their families allowed to run business in a foreign country? The answer is legally unlikely. Before you believe anybody find out first, visit the embassy website to read about what student can or can not do while holding a student visa. |

splenzard: with all due respect Justwise, I don't think you actually understand what he's doing, he's sharing his experience with us, I for once have thought of going through the Mediterranean but after reading I would be surviving on my urine and the travails he went through, do you think I'd still want to voluntarily commit suicide??
Secondly he is in no way encouraging any illegal migration. if you've been following his story, he once asked someone to jettisoned the idea of doing the same.
have you read "Ghost in the wires" by Kevin Mitnick? it is about the hacking escapades of the best hacker of all times, he exposed everything.
if a thread as educative as this is prohibited on nairaland, I wonder what the future had for us the youths. cc: lalasticlala Probably yes and that is because he was more interested in creating drama than explaining to me the direction of his thread. I emailed him when i removed his thread to explain to him why i did that, rather than replying with an explanation he pasted the email here to seek pity party. I don't email people to explain to them why i removed their thread but i did that because some part of me think he may have good intentions as i mentioned in my email. |

EMMAACHILE: The only problem I see here is the issue of learning a new language to adapt fully to the new environment and cost of living is definitely cheaper here than Europe. Outside that, I think Nigeria has more cons.
Better education for your family, good healthcare, etc. How are you likely to travel to any of those countries with right to work full time? I mean work permit with work before leaving Nigeria. |
