Come on Justwise. You are more than this. I honestly think you are capable of a more nuanced assumption/thinking/point of view.

Your thought (on this matter) assumes that ALL Christians think the same (or should think the same).
Your submission seem to suggest that ALL Blaxk people think the same, or should think the same.

Your argument on this issue assumes that exactly the same thing matters to All Black people.

Even your own blood brother or sister, heck even your own identical twin does not like or dislike exactly 100% of the things you like or dislike.

I am a black woman, I will vote for Trump because I like position on abortion.

I am a Christian, I voted for Nigel Farage because I like his idea of increased threshold for taxation.

Those things matter to me, because I am me. Not because I am a Christian or a black woman.
I will come back to you later

When you make statements like “( why Christian’s would want to vote trump and why blacks poeple would want to vote trump and reform)” … it makes one think you either faking cluelessness or you actually clueless
Let me assume for a second that you have a clue about what you’re saying.. so tell me why Christians and black people should vote for those two characters

The same reason why white Americans voted for Obama twice..the same reason why you have a rishi sunak as prime minster of UK. Who would have thought this would ever be possible 50 years ago?. try leave out race and religion in your political forecasting and analysis
As usual you completely missed the point, there is a reason why i singled out Reform(Nigel Farage) and Trump(Republican) in my initial post.

If you can not connect the dots then don't bother and to your last point about race and religion... what planet are you living on?

Race and religion should not be included in political debate? Whatever you have been smoking i definitely need some of it.

@All,

Thank you, I do have birth certificate.

I don't know what else to add aside the birth certificate as their English is confusing my understanding. My child is coming by August, can mom reapply immediately?
Add the birth certificate, if it’s newly issued then explain why, add pictures with your mother or your mother with your kids or husband, if you communicate with your mother through WhatsApp or other messaging app then select non-sensitive chats and add. Call history with your mother will also help

I honestly don’t understand any black voter supporting Reform or Trump. Maybe someone will educate me about any underline reason that I’m struggling to get my head around

Hello,
My mother-in-law visa was refused, pls what changes can we effect and when can she reapply.

Thank you

Meet those refusal conditions stated in the letter and you are likely to get approved.

If there is no birth certificate then provide old baby pictures with your mum

Hmm, 2020 Biden came across strong and passionate about restoring America. Trump lost a lot of popularity due to how he handled COVID and was blamed for the disproportionately high number of deaths in the US. He dismissed COVID as just a cold and then quickly hopped on Air Force One to the best hospital and medics when he caught it🙄

Sadly 2024 Biden currently doesn't inspire confidence that he won't hand over power (to phrase it sensitively) to Harris in the 1st year and most Americans don't want President Harris.
Sorry I meant to say 2020,

Polls got it completely wrong in 2016 as Hilary was leading in every possible poll but ended up losing .

Biden has never been Obama interns of charisma but still gets the job done

Unless he's able to convince the public that he is not as frail as his debate performance suggested....it's not looking good. His biggest opponent at this point is not Trump, but the sofa. I.e. many of his supporters would rather not vote at all.

Best to prepare yourself.
I know but in 2020 he was not seen while Trump was holding rallies even with COVID killing thousands, Trump used all government resources but still lost.

I am going for the tories or reform. Most likely the conservatives because the reform guy in my constituency does not appear serious. Labour will almost certainly increase my counci tax and likely will not do well in government. I also do not like how they treate JC and the Gaza issue.
Whoever wins is going to increase your council tax. Council tax goes up yearly

Justwise, that is the point Zahra29 has been making for ages.
Govt created a policy, post COVID. There were problems with the implementation of the policy. Plus, the route was massively abused by our people. Govt decided to NOT ENTIRELY scrap the policy, but to tighten loose ends and block loopholes. That is the common sense thing to do.

What is baffling is how some people portray the plugging of these loopholes to mean the Govt is ‘forcing parents away from their children’ what absolute tosh!
Not really, the whole immigration figure outcry by the govt is just nonsense, the govt created this prob, benefited hugely financially from the mess they created then turn around to moan about high number of immigrants into the UK.

Govt sold the COS, approved the visa to as many people as they want and the same govt is complaining about the same people they ALLOWED in.

I don't buy the point that the govt did not see this coming,

Just to add that Mrs A's 6 dependants also do not pay IHS.
Again my question to you is this… how did Mr A and all 6 dependants get a visa to come in? Who created this visa category?

Please don’t tell me that this government was unaware of the number of visas issued until it was published by certain agency.

Homophobia and racism are two different issues, they are not mutually exclusive. Needless to say, a racist might not be homophobic.
Yes Homophobia and racism are two different issues but in the same program we have seen these two issues in one political party, so what does that tell you?

I will make my decision on who will assist justwise from the people who have applied so far. Thanks so much.
I will respect whoever you picked but some of those who showed interest here don't have what it takes, some have conflict of interest, they are likely going to use the position to advance their own interest. Some are trolls that will likely use the position to ban IDs they had issues with previously.

Only about two genuine characters i have seen so far.

I suggest you have a look at their profiles, , when they registered in nairaland, their ban logs and reason(s) why they were banned.

According to the Young Turks,he's been a disaster as Governor. What's up with the panera bread thing?
In terms of messaging he is the best option, he has the personality, stage presence, young and intelligent.

He doesn’t not need to be a good governor to beat Trump because Trump has no record to run on.

Trump will not debate him, he will factcheck Trump live and he speaks facts.

Biden may still win even with the disappointing debate issue.

Permit me to add another flavor to the conspiracy brew.

Biden was indeed hopped up on something during the state of the union address but Trump ( who takes meth on a normal day according to people who knew him on the apprentice) shamed him so much that he refused meds yesterday.

He has slowed down considerably due to age and should have been primaried and put aside.

Trump is also in the same boat age wise as only 3 years younger.
(Disclaimer:didn't watch the debate, too busy with uk politics )
I wanted to stay awake to watch it but because i knew that Biden will be a dead man walking i decided to enjoy my sleep.

When i watched few second clip from BBC website i regretted even clicking on that link. It was so so embarrassing that i have decided not to watch anything about the debate ever again.

Bidden should be replaced, even if he wins i don't see him lasting for 4yrs in office. That man is in life support machine .

If Trump wins he will probably lose both houses and get properly impeached.

I don't think so.

Even now. Reform, like the Tories, votes are still mostly confined to older voters (who are a lot more racist in general).

We haven't seen the swing to the hard right among young people that we can see in Europe. I hope it remains that way.

If you watched the whole programme to the end you see where younger members like Rob Bates, Dan Jukes etc made some strong homophobia comment when they spotted a police car with pride sign on it.

If Reform pick up some seats after this election you will see that many young people will start looking around Reform political party.

Gather round ,children. This is for anyone considering reform.

Racist scandals keep happening in just one political company limited, I wonder why.

Reform is an LLC with farage as majority shareholder. Look it up on company house.
This doesn't surprised me at all, their views are inline with Nigel Farages. This will soon become normal that it will not be breaking news anymore. We are gradually heading towards MAGA way

Visa fee of less than £1000? No IHS fees. No taxes in many cases , with access to NHS, schools etc. Wouldn't that quickly become a deficit for the government?
Is this high immigration figures only coming from care visa alone? Was student visa holders not included?

I never knew the word until when he used it with me and what i got online most especially Reddit was that micro managing is bad 😞. How do i document the abuse of business hours with evidence. Unless I take a video or picture of him and won’t that be trespassing?
Like others have stated..see yourself as a messenger in this case, whatever he says put it in writing and pass it on to your manager or HR.

Mental healthy is a touchy issue in work place and open for abuse, All you have to do is to listen to his concerns and not question or argue with him. At the end he will be asked to bring in doctor or GP report to back up his claim or mental health, though i'm not sure that individual is interested in that job.

Zahra29:
Erm do you remember when you were on the health visa thread many months ago, pleading advising people not to pay for sponsorship, citing its illegality etc and the amount of abuse you received? (I was afraid to step in and support you 😂). That is one of the ways thousands of people got in - buying CoS off the many sham agencies without even having a care job. Agents/main applicants also arranged for sham partners and dependants to be added to the applications and several thousand got in this way also. Even Sky did a report on this, the practice was common in the south Asian countries.

Boris' govt said they only expected about 40k migrants to come in via the route, in the end it was at least 5 times that amount due to the route being abused and the initial naivete and complacency of the govt (e.g not performing background checks on agencies before granting them sponsorship licenses). That's how the numbers got to where they are now and the strict policies and checks recently introduced which have led to many agencies losing their sponsorship licenses.
Yes i do and i also remember that the British govt did little too late to stop the abuse of the COS by care agencies and applicants that pay for it. After making billions from the same low skilled workers they started blaming the same people they allowed in for high immigration figure

To the Seniors In The House

Hello everyone,

In April, an employee was hired to directly report to me, in the past few weeks, I noticed he is always slow to respond to tickets, make so much errors which I have been covering his ass for, spends loads of time surfing the internet for music related stuffs including elections stuffs, listen loudly to music and would have to tap him to communicate with him. whenever this is pointed out to him, he is defensive, he lashes out that he is being micromanaged. is this really being micro managed? What is the best line of action to this? Even though I did sent a report of this to my line manager the IT Director last night and also have minute of our 121 meeting documented(with some of this issues mentioned).

NOTE: He is yet to pass probation in which review will be in about 2weeks.
yes and there is nothing wrong with that, document his abuse of the business houres and pass it to your line-manager.

They are already cutting immigration though and the reality is Labour will have to work hard to bring the numbers down further if they plan on being re elected for a second term.

Their issue isn't against highly skilled migrants. No one complains that there are too many surgeons or engineers coming in. They complain when there is a an influx of immigrants into low paid roles. The argument is that low income = low tax revenue = negative economic contribution. The MAC recently admitted that the main benefit in such cases is not economic, but lies in filling roles that the native population otherwise does not want to do.
lol..Our spin doctor, I know you will attempt to spin this around . My question to you is this.. how did these low paid migrants get into the country? We are not talking about illegal migration here. So tell me how we ended up having so many people into the country with limited resources.
