No as long as that was agreed and you have been making payment.

Evidence of monthly payment get you out of jail here, so pay them a visit first before the court date.

No offense but are you sure what you got is actually a court summons and not a letter containing a threat of a summons?

The letter stated that I should appear in court in August, a payment plan has been communicated which further states that a liability order will be applied for by the council. Or I should pay all the outstanding amount due to avoid a liability order.

I have called them, requested for a call, raised inquiry form for a call but no response. Just a mail this afternoon.

Also worth noting is that, the last letter from the council showed that they omitted one of my payments in their analysis.

Printout all your payment and pay them a visit to sort this out

My Council is after me!

The Annual bill for 24/25 financial year sent to me showed that my tax should be paid in the span of 10 months (ending January 2025).

However, I had started making payments in April after splitting into 12 equal months.

The Authority had sent a reminder earlier which I missed. Unfortunately, they have sent a summon for me to appear in court.

This is surprising because I haven't missed any of my monthly payments and I have always spread my payments across 12 months in the past.

Can anyone advise on the way forward.

Material Representation: The UKVI laws (which someone screenshot and posted) asked for 1. A bank statement of 28days. 2. To be submitted within 31 days of the 28 days.

That is the information submitted. Proof that I have XYZ amount on let’s say 28/2/2024. That is what the bank is asked to verify. The veracity or correctness of said statement.

Can the bank pry into my statement afterwards?

But the declaration that a 10 year ban follows withdrawal of funds is a fallacy and untrue.

1. airline ticket is NOT part of your maintenance money

2. Your maintenance money is to be used in the UK, the calculation is based on your monthly expenditure in the UK, so when you take out some in Nigeria AFTER submitting your visa application you have misrepresented your true financial condition.

3. UKiv is not aware that you have touched that money after submitting your application.

So you have lied about the total amount avaliable in that bank account.

Someone asked if he can submit a POF statement days after it's maturity and I answered YES. The answer is YES regardless of what all u guys are saying.

I’m a project manager. Yes I have attended quite a number of seminars and trainings in this field. The company quite new started in 2022 but fast growing.

Your visa interview will likely focus on those areas and why your company decided to spend so much money on foreign conference rather than getting such info locally or attending the conference via zoom.

So you need to prepare to defend that. You need a sponsor letter from you company that will also include your company's profile and financial standing.

Rwanda has said it is not required to refund the UK after a multi-million pound migrant deal between the two countries was scrapped.

New UK Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Keir Starmer announced at the weekend that the plan to deport some asylum seekers to Rwanda was "dead and buried".

The scheme was forged by the previous Conservative government, which since revealing the plan in 2022 has paid Rwanda £240m ($310m).

The following day, a spokesperson for Rwanda's government told the country's state television: "Let this be clear, paying back the money was never part of the agreement."

Alain Mukuralinda said the agreement "did not stipulate" money should be refunded and that the UK had approached Rwanda and requested a partnership, which was "discussed extensively".

I’m to attend a conference in New York on the 17th of October. I work with a real estate and Agro company. The company is funding the trip as the conference is quite important for the agro segment they are venturing into next years.

The company has given me a letter of sponsorship also, I have reprinted my letter of appointment with the company. What other doc do I need? Meanwhile, I have gotten the invitation letter from the conference organizers.

Also, I have been advised by the conference organizers not to not make arrangements for accommodation until visa approval because they won’t take responsibility for any loss. Meanwhile, I was asked to fill accommodation details in the form DS 160 form. I don’t know how to go about this.
