I submitted
-3 land documents which are in my husband's name
-house lease contract
-House rent payment reciepts( these contract is between my husband and his tenants.
-My daughter's birth certificate
-My statement of account
-I used My visa and letter of acceptance as her invitation letter and I also wrote a letter inviting her
-Application for visitors visa made outside canada( filling this form was not easy. I chose visiting and Where I was asked purpose of visit, I had to choose other and then explained saying I am accompanying my mother)
-Temporary resident visa application (I am not sure if i should have filled this form or not because it says the principal applicant and all dependants aged 18 and above must fill it. Now can I classify My child as the principal applicant since I was filling for only her) I think maybe I should not have filled it
-My marraige certificate
-Letter of explanation saying I want my child to accompany me and that i had enough funds for his schooling accomodation and personal expenses
-Affidavit of financial support
-Husbands letter of consent notirized.

So what do you think. I am thinking of reapplying, what do you think I should do differently or how do i write a powerful sop for this
Those reasons for the refusal are generic, you need to order for the GCMS which will explain in details why they refused her application then it will be easier to address the refusal points.

Those documents you submitted are not bad, don't be in a hurry to reply until you get the full details from them.

She didn't apply for it and certainly have no idea about the reasons for the refusal. If she had then she still will be using the old passport and not bothered going to the HQs then for a new one. The school told her that UKVI told them about all her immigration details but not why the visitor visa on the old passport was not granted ie no details about the old passport from UKVI was provided.
Then that is what she needs to explain to the school. If somebody else did with the stolen passport then fingerprint evidence you clear your sister's name. The UK embassy introduced fingerprint in 2008 but i'm not sure of the month. If that was before the fingerprint then they will have the picture and other documents of whoever made the application then

Good morning house. Please I need advice on this:

In 2008, my youngest sis was issued a passport in Benin City, Nigeria as she intend applying for a study in the UK. Then the passport was misplaced/stolen and she had to go do another passport of which she was told to go to the HQs in Abuja. She went and a new passport was issued at the HQs Abuja with the issuing officer telling her not to worry about the old passport. She then applied for a UK study visa in 2009 with the new passport and was issued a 4 years study visa. She completed her studies in 2013 and returned home for her NYSC. This year, 2016 she applied for her MSC in Scotland and was offered admission. School fees paid, account statement sent to the school and she's waiting for her CAS to be provided by the school. Her studies begins Jan 19, 2017.
Now the worrying part: One week after her CAS preview letter was sent to her to confirm all details was correct and she did confirmed, hoping to receive her CAS this week, she receive a mail from the school telling her that she had a visitor refusal visa on her old passport (the misplaced/stolen) and she should contact UKVI to provide more details on the refusal as the details the UKVI provided to them (school) is insufficient. Going through UKVI site I noticed that you have to send a form to their office in the UK and emails are not allowed, thus taking more time to send and also days in replying. Note: she has barely one month before her studies and this is happening.
Please I need help on what she should do next.

Ps: she had sent a mail informing the school about the old passport and how she had canceled it at the HQs before applying for a visa which was granted.

HELP PLEASE

Cc: Justwise
The question here is: Did your sister apply for visiting visa with the old passport and was refused? If yes, what was the reason(s) for the refusal

@Jl justwise thank u for your respond may God.contineu to bless u for cashless services u ar renderimg for people of the whole Africa, my case is a little bit logical,If u remember in my first post that i said i was invite for a conference,in my last application the (ECO) said one of my documents was fake and that they might give me a 10uyear ban unless if my social economic status or my circomstances change in the future application and i should also apply in the future with new informations, my questions are (1) now that my job has change and a body of my business is inviting me for a conference in uk,those it means my circomstances has change?( 2) what are some other things that must happen in my life before i can fully meet what the (ECO) said in the refusal letter? (3) how do i clerified this comment of (Eco) of fake document in my next application which i will be applying by appril next year? (4) do u have the idea if they do hav the copies of our refusal letter in all of there visa offices or on there system cos my last application was at Ikeja and am planing to submit the next one to V.I,? thanks
I don't think the ECO said that in refusal letter, i think you are misinterpreting that section.

You need to honestly read that refusal letter again or paste it here after removing all personal details

In my humble opinion, everything is okay. I recommend doing the following:

1. Apply alone and since your mum has a visa, no need to mention that you are going with someone (if you say your mum, it could raise a red flag and your ma's visa could be cancelled)

.If they ask what of hubby? Say he will apply later to be with you during your labour week.
2, I sincerely hope this trend isn't a new policy as per childbirth. Your budget was okay. I feel the delivery ought to have been 10,000 dollars though (for the sake of the interview)

3. Depending on your EDD, Reapply immediately or later.

4. Was this in abuja or lagos?

All the best!
This is wrong and will not help her visa application, please don't encourage anybody to lie in visa application.

People have traveled before with their mum for child birth so there is no need withholding that info if asked.

Okay thanks bruh. What if someone makes a mistake whilst filling the courier form(TLS) ? My details were correctly filled in the Main VISA APPLICATION FORMS but in the courier it's saying I'm gonna be staying less than 6 months even tho it's student visa application... Will this affect the result?

I hope you understand it. Thanks
I don't see that as a problem since your CAS and the main form carry the correct study duration

Thank you justwise for your prompt reply. She works as a pharmacist but unfortunately she lost her job just some months back. She decided to come stay with me for some months ( we are also planning for our wedding).

Also note that the reason why she has been coming to Uk in time past (that was how she got her 5 years visa) is cos she does business by the side along her pharmacy job (infact she was in Uk earlier this year for 1 week).....

She can show eveidence of past receipts of goods she bought in Uk and even Dubai (this year) and even statement of account for her survival when she is coming back (if need be).

If you have any more questions, please ask me and I won't hesitate to answer.
Doing that will help her future application because staying that long on visiting visa will raise an eyebrow

@justwise and everyone

Good evening, I applied for a UK STUDENT VISA today. I spoke very well but I've got some issues. I submitted my documents without my dad's consent letter. Although, before my CAS was issued, the University requested for a consent letter but didn't ask me to submit it with d VISA application. They also asked how long the funds have been in my sponsor's bank account. I said 28 days because I wasn't too sure but it stayed more than that. My application is tied to my dad's, he also made an application because he'd be following me.

Also, I was asked the means of transportation I'd use from my University to the Student accommodation. I forgot that it's a minute on foot and I said I'd rent a bike. I was asked the price and I said about 40 quids weekly. Can all these affect their decision ?

*My Interview didn't even take up to 5 minutes.
1.You applied together with your daddy?

2. Are you between the age of 16-20?

If you spent £40 weekly on renting bike your maintenance money will be gone before the end of of the year

Hi justwise and all the other gurus in the house....fantastic job you guys are doing here.

My fiancée is currently in the Uk on a visit visa of 5 years. She intends to go back next year February (by that time she would have spent 5 months and some days in Uk). She then intends to come back again in April and stay for 2 months. is this legally possible?

I heard there is a law for visitors visa that says that once you stay for long in the Uk, you cannot come back into the Uk until after 6 months, how true is this? I don't want to do anything that will contravene the law.

Thank you.
What does she do in Nigeria?

@Justwise, I initially asked if i could use my husband's company, he is one of the directors and someone here still insisted i shouldn't try it and that was why i went further to ask what if i was just an employee?

Please clarify, now are you saying i can use my husband's company?
Use his bank statement and not that of the company. He get share of the profit from the company right?

@Justwise and other experienced pple,

Biko, question o. I had my son last year in US and we discovered he needs a surgery now for a small medical condition. If we decide that he shld go to the US for the surgery, will it be right to apply for medicaid? since he is a citizen?
It's a tricky one, flying in to use Medicare and fly out again will not get you in a good book with the embassy. Pay for the surgery if you can afford. That is me personally.

@justwise I intend applying these days for a tourist visa but I don't have this CAC stuff and tax clearance. but I have other supporting documents with a very good acct statement good inflow and outflow with a good balance

What are my chances if I apply and I was even thinking of doing the CAC & tax clearance this week but they might think at the embassy that I'm too desperate i need a good advise sir
Nobody can predict that, you just have to prepare you documents and apply then the ECO will make the decision. Support your source of money with evidence.

You might be suprised, if we go pound for pound, it might work out cheaper plus you have JOB!
Polish people do this very well on Trades ie Builders, electricians, Shops etc
I do not think it would cost more than £10K to set up a shop, waht do you think?
Bro £50.000 is not cheap, that is the least you need to have in your account before thinking about applying for tie 1 visa.

Polish people don't need to worry about that because they are not under any visa restriction.
