Uhm I've gotten my CAS letter and I'm about applying for Tier 4 GENERAL student VISA. I wana ask if I can make use of a stamped copy of my WASSCE result when going to the embassy since the original certificate is not out. Prolly stamped or attested by a High court or even the Ministry of Education.


N/B: I wrote the examination this year (May/June 2016) and the ORIGINAL certificate isn't out.

I have a sponsor for this trip with about 2500pounds in my account for the trip..I don't plan to spend up to 2000pounds from my calculation.. Hope this won't be a problem..I plan to spend 6 days..the hotel I plan to stay due to proximity is £80 per night(£480), flight fee £600, transportation £150...total £1230..

Will the rule of not spending more than 2 months of ur monthly salary affect me because I earn 150k..

I earn 420k monthly and wife is a medical officer earns 140k.

I want to fully sponsor the trip and she will be travelling with our 5month old baby for about 8days.

Budget is £2,400 around N760k on Oanda and my bank statement currently has about N2.1M

I have been to the UK before but they have not.

I was advised to apply with them if not their chances are bleak. Please do you think they dont stand good chances without me.

The ties that i'm banking on are her job, myself and our first baby who's about 3 years.

Must she also indicate that she will co-sponsor because she works and earn a salary because her balance isn't good?

Must my baby apply separately as his mum?

Ttmacoy I am relieved with what you just said, though I have many job application in Canada. It September time I got the application form from the company. Immediately I filled it, they sent me immigration contact to submit my visa processing.

I've submitted it but since then, I didn't from them.

Though they never ask me for money but I think at this point I'll stop pressing the application

Quick question.

My cousin overstayed his student visa after completing his MSc programme in UK. He returned home in 2010 afterwards. Been working in Nigeria since then.

Now he has secured a PhD research position in Robert Gordon university with full scholarship from tetfund and his state government.

Will his overstay gravely dampen his chances of returning to the UK. Does he stand any chance with an appeal.

Hi, I have been an observer on this post. I am about to get married and my fiancee is in the UK doing his PhD. I will be joining him immediately we get married in January. I need to clarify an issue. I have a daughter and he is aware of this. She presently stays with my mum. I do not intend to take my daughter with me right now. How do i package the visa documents? As my daughter is not going with me now, will i still be required to show any maintenance funds for her and I hope this will not cause any complications in my visa application. Someone advised that i should not state it in my application for now and in the future if i want to bring her i can do a legal adoption as she does not bear my name but her fathers name. Personally I don't want to do this. I will like to know what my best line of action is. Thank you guys

Good day house, pls my salary is paid twice every month into diff accounts savings n current. i have been building my savings account as i intend submitting only the savings account without current account. pls house is it wise to submit just one and explain on the additional information? i want to submit only the savings cos there's is nothing in the current n i have been moving funds to the current before i move to savings (for building the savings account statement)

hello, honestly it makes no sense at all when you seek for answers and you are referred to read from page 1.
information posted here aren't static but are dynamic, they change over time.
Google, always pops out the most recent answers and wont tell you to start searching the entire database just to get answers.

Good day everyone, I was rejected student visa last year due tobthe fact that i used my uncle statement of account whom surname differ my own, so I defer my admission, now another admission lettterbhas been sent to me, is it possible I ask my uncle to send me 4.5M into my account for the period of applying for visa, won't it be refer to money lodgement....
