bluepresidents: ok thanks for your response. Again,my itinenary during my period of leave is going to show me travelling from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria where i will spend about four days there before i will then travel from lagos to london and my route back will follow similar pathway. Now is this going to be a problem?can i travel from Nigeria to London from a visa that was issued from Saudi Arabia and will the ECO not frown at the idea of sourcing for a visa here from Saudi Arabia rather than from my own country since i am still going to Nigeria eventually. Secondly,my salary account here in Saudi Arabia has enough funds to take care of my trip comfortably, i also have a savings account in Nigeria where the major source of fund input is from transfers i make through friends account i.e ,i pay riyals into their account here in Saudi Arabia and they credit the equivalent amount in naira to my Nigeria account. Is it necessary to also submit this my Nigerian account details to the embassy since my Saudi account can comfortably take care of my travel expenses or there is no need Thanks in anticipation as i eagerly await your response To be honest with you I don't know if that itnernary will poss a problem as I haven't come across such case before, though personally I will avoid it or contact the airline first to find out. If your salary account in Saudi Arabia has enough for the application then use that as long as you don't have any other money going into it. |

Justwise you don't know anything How many Arab countries have you been to ? Ooh I know UAE right ? I been to 10 Arab countries in my life and till now Libya is still the best. Libyans are looking for Gadaffi now, but people like you don't know anything cos you eat and sleep on CNN, BBC and AJ Leave that Europe or na US you dey, visit Libya now or Iraq and enjoy the freedom your masters gave Libya Just focus on your travel section Mr You have been to 10 Arab countries and Libya is your best? So bloody what? That is your personal preference and not that of majority of people. There are people like you who love and worship dictators as long as they feed you while many can't stand them. So your love of dictators is not a representative of majority views. I have never been to any Arab country and not in a hurry to do that anytime soon. |

narttis1: Step down for the 'violent opposition'? Bro reason up na. Tell me why he should step down because some disgruntled people are having wet dreams over a useless 'democracy' or because the US wants a regime change? With so many rebel groups in Syria just tell me who will take over if Assad steps down. Just tell me. Mind you, there are millions of Syrians who still support the legitimate government. You can get a million people to match on the streets of Abuja asking for Buhari to step down but does that mean he should step down? I wonder why people still take the western media seriously, same cnn who lied and reported just last week that Ghanaians queue for food and other stuff. Same media houses who had so many documentaries to 'prove' saddam had weapons of mass destruction? I remember those days so many experts on bbc and cnn claiming Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and unfortunately then, I believed. I supported the war! Now with the benefit of hindsight, I can only conclude that those media houses are doing the bidden of their governments and unfortunately, they have large followership around the world and can shape one's opinions. They can get you to believe whatever they want you to believe. But come to think of it, does the US ever learn? Or are they deliberately causing trouble everywhere? This strategy of regime change left Iraq in shambles, it left Libya in tatters, Libya currently have three different governments as we speak and they are enforcing same strategy in Syria when it's obvious syria will be worse without Assad. There are so many rebel groups and terrorist groups. How many different governments will be formed after Assad? Lastly, if you really believe the 'civilian protesters' in 2011 are the same people engaging the Syrian and Russian army in a long war then you need your head checked asap! You completely missed the point!! Has staying in power by all means bring peace in Syria? Syria has been destroyed because of one man hunger for power for selfish reasons. Let's see how long he will keep hanging on with what left of Syria. |

cstr19: And how many innocents have died just for assad to remain in power? If ghadaffi and assad had stepped down by respecting themselves and the lives of their citizens, their country will not be in ruins by now. Even if you have significant electorate support, but with such monumental and violent opposition, a good leader would have forseen the crisis to come from remaining in power and then gladly step down for the love of his own people and country. The US is not the one at fault here, power drunken leaders are the ones with the guilt. God bless you!!! You know many Nigerians here supporting those monsters will never have that in Nigeria. Imagine if Jonathan had refused to step down and contested the outcome of the election? imagine if Abacha was still in power today ruling with an iron fist, killing and jailing the opposition? Can we still remember the jubilation on the streets the day Abacha died? Some Nigerians indeed are the most hypocritical bunch on planet. |

The damage has been done just like in Libya, Iraq and Egypt where leaders rather fight to die in office than give peace a chance. |

bluepresidents: SEASONS GREETINGS to everybody in the house especially justwise I have applied for the PLAB2 exam in manchester and have some general inquiries about visa application. I am a Nigerian but presently working in Saudi Arabia for a year now.I have a renewable yearly resident permit here, i am also entitled to an annual vacation which is now about 35days which i have deliberately delayed up till now to enable me travel and write my exams. My cause of concern is that i was told it was difficult to get the plab 2 visa here if i apply from saudi arabia because a friend who applied some months ago was told he was refused because he "doesnt have sufficient ties here and should apply from his native country" .I am constrained by time difficulty as i have very limited time to be away from work(vacation) so am thinking of starting the process here and if granted ,i could fly back to Nigeria(employer takes care of flight ticker back to youtr native country) and stay for about two days and then fly to Uk to attend a course and then sit for the exam. please how do i prove i have sufficient ties here to avoid visa refusal and is there any problem if i decide to travel to Uk from Nigeria even if the visa is issued from Saudi Arabia. Is your friend working and has resident permit too? |

I have just been offered PhD admission with scholarship in the UK. please I want to ask if I can use sponsorship letter from my state government as evidence for my living expenses or the money must be paid directly into my account first before applying for visa?
again the letter given to me was from the commissioner for information not from the office of the governor, please will the letter be valid?
my study start early Feb, so I'm planning of applying for visa early Jan
thanks for your anticipated response. Does the scholarship covers everything? Fees and maintenance money? |

I am not a Trump 'fan', but I prefer him to that corrupt, heartless, Hilary Clinton by far. Many of you can defend Gaddafi as much as you want but thankfully one evil monster is gone. There is no place in this world for people like him. |

AnonyNymous: What about Libya?
Muammar Gaddafi said a right to education, food, and housing was a right. There were hardly any homeless Libyans.
Muammar Gaddafi launched Africa's first satellite into space.
Muammar Gaddafi had Pro-African ideologies and supported the creation of the "United States of Africa".
Muammar Gaddafi made sure there was free education up to the university level for all Libyan citizens and wanted Libya to be the most ideal place to live.
Muammar Gaddafi wanted to create a new AFRUCAN currency back by GOLD called the dinar which would eventually make the US Dollar worthless.
Muammar Gaddafi opposed the West.
Because of this, they sponsored 'moderate rebels' who were just thugs to make it seem like he was oppressing his own people (despite making it clear in interviews with the BBC that he held no political office but was just a 'national leader', kind of like what Tinubu is today) and they had him killed. Western propaganda is the worst. Stop watching CNN, CNN didn't cover Trump's campaign and gave him a less than 1% chance to win, but he won. CNN are losers I was happy to see Gaddafi dragged along the street like a dog after 40yrs of reign of terror and him. his family and tribe never thought that a day like that will come. You can write all that recycled monologue as you like but many of us know that Gaddafi is an evil dictator and i hope that many of them Mugabe included will die the same way. Don't rejoice yet about Trump winning because there are more to come after Jan 20th. |
