wallg123: my solicitor from the uk wants to write them ... so the reason for my question. its regarding a spouse application I made and was rejected and am awaiting the appeal hearing later this year... there's a new development in my case that I'd like to bring to the notice of the Eco. Thanks If your solicitor does't know then he is not a serious solicitor and you should not waste your money on him. |

ayooluwatoni: Ahahah....funny you. You must have misinterpreted what i meant. The question then was about disclosing family members abroad. And i wrote, except they are your immediate family members.......siblings or parents, you don't have to disclose them. Take for instance you have siblings in Canada, but in your app, you decided not to disclose that for fear of refusal......by the time you apply for provincial nomination, and they ask you for ties to the province you're applying to......you won't be able to claim them again..... or say your siblings are not even here in Canada. Maybe they are in Naija, but you decided not to include them in your app.....and then God helped you, you became a PR......how will you invite them? Because in their records, you dont have sibling.... Their are some things you just can't lie about.....and at the same time, some things require maturity.......which according to African elders, IS THE ABILITY NOT TO LIE, BUT NOT TO TELL THE TRUTH. So do all you can to get your trv......but think about the future while you do those things..... Dude there is no way to explain this away, when asked a straight forward question is either you tell the truth or a lie. Do you have siblings? Yes or NO! There is no if or but |

tunderule2016: Try to approximate your figures... 379.613 just put as (380 approx.)
As i have explained to you previously, you need to show 800 pounds per month for 2 months. (showing you have 1053 = 300,000 plus) but (800x2 months = 500 000k approximately) . This does not include accommodation and flight .. it is maintenance. Showing 1053 personally for me does not meet it. It has to be 500k or above .
I am trying to retrace your threads again so i can understand how much you budge for the plan and how much is in your account. But i will give you more response when i get home. I can see my other colleagues here have made great points so please heed to them...
again make use of this link
https://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/ this is what UKBA uses for currency calculation. Can you point him to an official link to support that part in bold? |

friendly101: Income and Expenditure
5.10 What is your total monthly income from all sources >>> of employment or occupation after tax? 379.613 GBP (salary alone)
5.11 Do you receive income from any other sources, including friends or family? Put a cross (x) in the relevant box NO
5.12 Do you have savings, property or other income (for example from stocks and shares)? Put a cross (x) in the relevant box YES
5.13 How much of your total monthly income is given to >>> your family members and other dependents? 20GBP
5.14 How much do you spend each month on living costs? > 100GBP
5.15 What money is available to you for your trip? >>>>>>>>1053 GBP
5.17 Who will pay for your expenses such as >>>>>>>>>>>> MYSELF accommodation and food?
5.19 What is the cost to you personally of your stay in >>>>>> 400GBP INCLUDING TRANSPORT AND FEEDING the UK?
5.16 Who will pay for your travel to the UK? >>>>>>>>>>>>> MYSELF
5.18 If someone other than yourself is paying for all or >>>> NO any part of this visit, how much money will they give you?
Please also explain why they are paying for all or part of your visit
PLEASE KINDLY ASSIST THIS IS WHAT I INTEND FILLING ON THE FORM PAGE....... 5.19 How about flight ticket and accommodation? That is what that question is asking you not just transport and feeding alone. Taking away £120 you spent monthly you will be left with £259 as net income. So if this trip is going to cost you £1053 then that is about 4x your monthly income. |

aodis: Good evening, I need some clarifications, I would be going on leave and would like to visit the UK.my brother is a citizen of UK and intends to write a letter of invitation stating he will take care if my accommodation, feeding and my sister too is ready to be a co sponsor as she is willing to buy my ticket and drop her statement. My brother too will drop his statement. presently I work in one of the commercial banks as a DSA( direct sales agent). They are not paying much at all. Our sakary is at the range of 50k. But the bank is willing to give a letter of introduction, and my leave request! Will this fly! The focus will be mainly on your salary and not those who promised to sponsor you. As it stands you don't have a good chance of getting a visa. |
