mikky4all: Good morning house. I intend applying for a two years visiting visa for my sister and brother but here is my plight, my sister just clocked 18 while brother still 10 (underage). Will she have to stand alone as an applicant or I can combine both of them together. They will both be sponsored by dad Individually. |

GeneralShepherd: @justwise my man . Please I have invited my mum and my aunt for my graduation in the UK. I also intend to pay for their trip, they'll be in England for 3 days. I have budgeted 1250 GBP each to cover their expenses.
Given that they'll apply from Nigeria, what supporting documents do you think they need to submit?
Both my Mum and Aunt are retired. What document are you sending them and have they traveled before? |

whytegirl: Hello House,
Glad to see new contributors helping to keep the thread alive. Hey Justwise and Vicjustice, thanks again for your help in the past. I am back for more like Oliver Twist.
I'm applying for a 2 years visa, I've had a UK student's visa and visitor visa in the past. Now trying to fill the new form and need some clarification on the finances part. I have a steady government job and I entered in the salary details, but I'm also an official in my professional Association and receive a very small stipend monthly IN CASH as imprest - about 30k.
Do I include that? The Association will do me a letter of intro so they can include this in the letter or leave it out, if not relevant.
Has anybody had this challenge or what do you all suggest? Include it if they will do you a letter and mention the amount in that letter else leave it out |

zeezahbee: so it's actually legal on nairaland to start posting other people pictures, age and whatever website they are. I will start doing that then.
I am not blaming everyone, my post is not in support of anyone. I am only asking to see if the rules on NL are just for show so that anytime I see anyone name anywhere I can also post it on NL.
a lot of Nigerians guys in the USA are on dating site trying to get an American lady to do their papers, let's be realistic, that's what most of them do. that is there own way of making ends meet. i dont criticise people about what life they chose to live. stevecrun is not the only victim. all this people on NL are on one dating site or another. GLASS house. don't throw stone
so justwise, my posts were just to confirm if rule no 10 is invalid and I can start surfing the Internet looking for people name, address, website etc and post it on NL anytime we have a face off. Obviously you are just pussyfooting this, this is not about online dating its about romance scamming simple! |

The first interview was quick and my answers were quick and direct to the point. I was just wondering if I should employ the same tactics here or really go into details. I am not scared of either cos I didn't lie on my application at all. Just want to know which way to go. You will be fine as long as there is nothing fraudulent about your application. Go and answer questions as honest as possible |

Dyt: Lmao Buhahahahahaha Seriously funny
You mean that moniker been lying 5yrs straight? Justwise won't kill me tonight This was his comments in 2011. bee444: Going through most @justwise posts on immigration I've realized that this guy is nothing but a lil devil incarnate and unmentionable. You're always complaining about sham marriage while neglecting the actual factors that led to such in the first place. You claim you don't have any resident permanent but always criticising those who'd love to have it. I don't care how they go about their business.
Attacking those that which to help does not make you any better human being. May be you're just a frustrated b.a.s.t.a.r.d. I will admonish anyone who know how people can stay in the UK legitimately without using any false documents to continue to do so. Like @paris10 rightly said, you don't know what people are going through. Some have sold all their belongings before going to the UK and would not want to come back empty handed. Instead of a slow still birth like you to come to their aid, you're busy breaking and killing them. bee444: @justwise, You just proved I was right when i called you a b.a.s.t.a.r.d. You were quick to highlight my sentence when I said I don't care how people go about their business. Ofcourse I don't care. As long as they achieve what they want to achieve. What is your problem with people seeking and wanting to settle down in the UK?
Can you prove that @paris10 has defrauded anyone? You just want your voice to be heard. You're a sick person and who needs a rehab. Are you a cop or govt agency? Hijacking and highlighting people's thread does not mean anything. It does not matter if you work for the Home office as well. You need prove to convict any one for any dubious thing on this forum. If you dare say anything silly again, then I pray piccaso will fall and kill you. I pray the Taliban will fly their planes to your house and kill your mother.
Don't try me you abortion escapist son of a monkey Like I said before I'm used to his mad behaviour. |

zeezahbee: my question is has he ever used that email to scam anyone or solicit on NL. I am not here to support anyone. as long as the person didn't scam anyone on nairaland or the affair happened on NL ; I do not think his private life should be on NL. people do all sort of shady stuff in real life, it's their life and what they choose. nairaland is not state CID ,NDLEA or efcc to detect people who have false life.
I believe the rule number 10 need to be effective. it's unfair to come here and post people visa page, people full name, age etc
how would you feel if I type your email address or full name on Google, look for anything related to you, ask mutual friend in Facebook about you and post your pictures name and age on nairaland. isn't that defamation and privacy disclosure. Honestly your question does not make sense, whether he has scammed somebody here before or not is inconsequential, his profile was posted in a website set up to expose romance scammers. He used his email address for fraudulent active and you are here blaming everybody else apart from him? |

bee444: I opened a thread recently advocating for help for a church member of mine who recently travelled to US but needs a place to stay. I refer to this member as cousin because of how he relates to me. Great news!. He has been offered a place to stay by a Nairalander at Queens, NY. The Nairalander pleads anonimous. They are also in the process of applying for a O1 visa for him. That will give him the eligibility to work because he already got a job offer from the organizer of he event he attended. Very grateful to this beautiful gesture @nairalander. You know yourself. My other thread in the travel section has been disabled by the mod @justwise. The hatred he has shown towards people trying to help others is unspeakable and despicable. Only God will pay him if truly he abhors such resentment towards me. @wizzy11, JJCE and Lionlee216 pls resend the messages you sent to my email. Thanks You are such a shameless liar, that thread was never disabled and its still active. I'm used to your false allegations and you have been doing it for more than 5yrs now. |

zeezahbee: I don't know what might have transpired between them but it is wrong for anyone to post other people privacy. anyone could be yahoo yahoo, 419, thief, kidnapper etc. as long as the person didn't do it to you , then it's should be private. THE screen shot shows 2013 and that was even before the guy came to USA.
@ justwise, Rule 10 says Don't violate the privacy of any people e.g. by posting their private pics, info, or chats without permission. I expect you should do something to this distracting post.
THIS thread was sane way back 2012/2013. it helped me a lot and other people but in past months, a lot of bad eggs has made the people who contribute meaningfully stay away from the thread. no one is a saint, you shouldn't post other people life on NL to stab them. Are you really serious? Was that a joke? That is stevecrun's email address and i have known that email address since 2012 and what he was upto with it. |

kife: Means : the means here isn't an issue, anyone who can afford visa fees, air tickets and has access to accommodation or even friends and family who could lend a helping hand abroad is a solvent aspirant.
Dreams : am so glad you agree that a quest to immigrate is a dream, a worthwhile one at that.
Crime: compromise is no crime in this case, one must follow open doors. If crime was the focus, I like to think, going through a visa process says differently.
From all your post, I have come to realise you are one of the individuals who have invaluable information about Canada, such that can help increase the standard of living of the good people of Nairaland. It's a call to assist them with this invaluable information and have heavens bless you! kife? You are not stupid, you are intelligent enough to know what i'm driving at here. Lets stop pussyfooting this and call a spade a spade, compromising document is fraud, forgery and its a criminal act. I don't want to be believe that God does not hear or answer Nigerian prayers but i think we are one bunch of hypocrites, today is Sunday and church is full, people are praying and castling the devil including some visa applicants but at the same time you have forged and lied in your application while praying to God for success? Who are we deceiving? Because of our own self centeredness we ruined it for others, application takes months to be decided because almost everything we submitted can not be trusted. Who told you that your destiny can only be fulfilled in Canada that you have to commit crime just to achieve it? |

He took some drugs then. Duo, his dad is fine now, but he is concerned. I told him I will help him get more info on NL. So, please, house will this affect his application when called for medical. I did some research on it, seems Hepatitis "B" is a virus...contagious.... I need ur help house.

kife: There is nobody that intends to travel for any other reason other than for a better future. Sadly some individuals with this noble intention do not have the kind of accounts that presents them as viable students, this doesn't make them insolvent.
I believe you of all people should understand that Nigeria is tough, so tough as it were. If one has say about a million naira, it's enough to sort things out for starters but to CIC, such an individual is Insolvent. What then should such an individual do? Stay put in Nigeria? Efforts must be made for purpose driven individuals, and that I believe is part of the questions asked, QED! So you tell me this..if you don't have the means of achieving your dream now, is crime the only solution? |

@All
Please Let's not waste any space here discussing whether Canadian embassy verifies bank statement or not because it's a pointless debate.
Apply for your study permit with genuine documents and worry not about verification or if you decided to submit forged documents then good luck with that but don't come here to ask if the embassy will verify it. |
