Sunny4Gold: If you born in UK, you don't need a visa to travel to UK. What you need is your original birth certificate. With your original birth certificate, you can apply for your passport here in Nigeria through British embassy. Unless your birth place is Nigeria, UK embassy will not give u visa because you are UK citizen. Visa is for foreigners. That is not entirely true. |

Emblem: @Motherloventina,
Don't get worked up. My cousin was in a similar situation even though her own wasn't suspension. She was sacked..........VO asked why was she in South Africa for 4 months while she has a job. All she said was that she was on a training from office...........Trust me the crowed in the embassy is too much for the VO to pick phone to call or verify. No time..........Madam, you have no problem. Don't say that if you not sure and please don't mislead anybody here |

Renewal of uk visa for 2years, is it the process like the same as applying online for the 6months or there is a special drop box renewal method?
Would appreciate response.
Thanks.

MRBrownJ: this is a cokc and bull story!!!! 17yrs in the UK and you dont have any legal papers to stay in the UK?! i guess that person was deported because of a crime he committed then.... just like France will now revoke anyone with a double nationality if they do any terrorist crime etc
that man should answer the important question: "WHAT HAS HE DONE IN THE UK TO SUDDENLY BE DEPORTED (SUPPOSEDLY AFTER 17YRS)?!" Don't mind those lying through their back teeth, we all know that the article is all rubbish. The UK do not deport legal immigrants or those without criminal record. |

Enough, this is not life, you can't start begging from 1st year first semester until you graduate. |

Palla: Please house is it possible that an agent can instruct embassy to delay a visa application because my friend agent is treating her that if she applied for visa behind his back that he's going to make sure she got denied unless she applied through him and pay for his guarantee visa charges which is very high that he will send her particulars to the Pretoria that if she applied they will notify him by then he will ask them to deny it that she must pay him to apply for her so I ask is it possible and how she got to know these agent is through the school she applied because the school ask her to apply through an agent. So is it possible Your friend need her head properly checked if she believes that nonsense from the agent. The agent is a poor crook. Nobody can influence embassy's decision on visa application. He is just a poor hungry agent looking for victims. Your friend should ignore him and apply. |

aibisoye: Keep your fingers crossed. Puting place of birth as UK rings lots of alarm. They will be thinking if you have family there that you didn't declare etc. Let's hope for the best anyways.
Like I said earlier, Till date I never claimed born in UK in any of my applications. I always put my naija birth certificate. I've lived here all my life and I don't intend migrating to the UK, to do what nkwa? How does that work? Using Nigerian birth certificate while you were born in the UK? |

lloyd1000: Hello Everyone,
Myself and a colleague at work recently applied for a business visitor visa to attend a 5 day training using my employers' details as they are sponsoring the trip. We filled separate forms but submitted together.
My colleague actually travelled to the UK last year on a business visit and stayed at a friends place during the trip. He did not overstay or have any complications.
I on the other hand have not applied for a UK visa before. However, the twist is I was actually born in the UK after 1983 and I've never applied for any visa or document since leaving the UK at just a few months old.
So to the point now. We received emails at the same time yesterday that a decision has been made and we should expect our passports in 3-5 days. We decided to contact the training company to find out if they were contacted by the home office and the said they were not contacted. My colleague also called his friend that he stayed with the last time and he told him he was not contacted.
My question is if it is possible for the visa to be issued without contacting the inviter? My colleague believes this is the case since his friend was already contacted the last time. Pls advice salsera: How is that gbese? As long as you have the birth certificates, which you still trace in the Uk you are entitled to citizenship. They will not refuse for that. It was pre1983. I know at least 10 people who legally migrated in fact it was during their visa interviews they were advised to change their visa category to the right one. |

Why did you get a new passport in April 2015 when your old passport was still valid till 2016. You can not have 2 valid passports at the same time
Which immigration office issued a new passport for you when you still had One year validity on a current passport.
I hope you did not present false details Was surprised by that. |

Is it necessary to include P60 in financial evidence for spouse visa if you supply 6 months payslips?
And has anyone been requested to add this? I'm just asking for someone else as I added mine as extra in case they state not enough evidence
Regards Not at all, not needed. Payslip and bank statement are more than enough |

Pweety1: Hello @Justwise and others, please I need your advice on accommodation. I Am about to fill the tier 4 form but I haven't secured a place yet but am planning to look for when I get my visa. Pls kindly advice me on what to fill on the accommodation part. I don't want to commit myself in to paying for accommodation deposit yet. Thank you. You will not be refused a visa because of accommodation, state that you will book hotel accommodation for few days then use that period to search for accommodation |

While I was away in the US she was sick and when I got back I decided I will send her to the US to have our baby. Our visas were cancelled at the POE & we were ban for 5 years. How do I reapply.
