expertman: Hello house,
Am so sorry for my earlier post.
Am only stating the reasons why I believe God is at work.
I have edit it asap.
Passport collected with visa this morning.
NOTE : the application was for my little sister not mine.
Am her sponsor.
Thanks all. Which God is that? God of fraud? Do you see why embassies take longer than necessary processing visa application by Nigerians? Do you understand the harm you are doing to other innocent visa applicants? This is exactly why i don't trust those who are quick to call the name of God but at the same time very very fraudulent. Good luck but i will not edit your post i quoted. |

pampem: Hello, I can see two different advices here. Please read travelland advice as per accommodation . And I think you should include same figure and explain as I garnered that each application are considered seperately . Also should the breakdown of ones total expenses be equal to total.money for the trip or the cost of the trip to you personally, Just wise and all, please.clarify this.as am.presently filling my application.too and it's a co sponsor . So both of them will pay the same amount for shared hotel room? |

Thanks for the quick reply. We will be sharing the accomodation, so effectively it is about 500pounds total for both of us. I have just put the same amount in the different forms with the intention to include an explanation in her application that we will be sharing accom.
Living expenses for both of us should not exceed 400-500 really. We are in the UK for like 7days.
Do you see any other issues/changes required to the information presented in the table?
Thanks again for your help! Your budget on accommodation and living cost is far too much. Since you are sharing accommodation the cost should be £500 and not £465 each. Spending 400-500 daily is far over the top even if you are a footballer. You need to use actual hotel accommodation cost to budget and not estimate |

Viceroy: Good morning all,
@FrontPageLawyer, @talkwise and others
I am completing my first ever application for a UK Visa. I am doing same for my Wife as we are travelling together and I am paying for the trip. We have limited travel history. I have been to Kenya and UAE twice while she has been to the UAE once. I have attached a picture detailing how I intend to complete the section on income and expenditure for me and my wife. Kindly assist with whether this looks fine or if I need to make any changes. £1,395 on accommodation and £700 on living expenses? How long will you be staying in the UK? |

1. That's my Nairaland add NOT MY WEBSITE. Iffy mentioned she got it from my NLD profile and WEBSITE . Since no one is perfect, I wanted to know if the number is on my website so I can edit it. 2. This is my marketing phone, when I sacked some of staff I let them go with the bb phones I bought them for marketing. It was weeks later that I found out this sim was in one of the phones. Bc one of them stole things from my shop I didn't let them come near me bc of sim. I removed the number from my website. 3. If the sim is still working i will block it when I return to Nigeria Which is absolutely true, that number was on your website even after your last reply to ify I checked it before making my last post. The story about your sacked workers leaving with the phone that contains the numbers is laughable. I know what to believe anyway. |

a4avoke: Thanks for your response, but I am unclear about your suggestion. When you say make a correction in the print out, do you mean I should cancel with a pen and write the correct number? Yes that will do but....dont cross more than one line on top of it, just a line will do then write your current passport number beside it. Then make a note of a line or two explaining why you cancelled the previous number. |

Your company's tax certificate alone will do and you don't need to submit the whole three years, your latest tax certificate will be ok. This is if the business is your only source of income. |

The passport number on my appointment confirmation is my old passport number. I have tried to change it by updating the appointment, but there is no provision for inputting Passport number. freshtoast: please, kindly advise,
I applied for and was twice refused a US visa in 2014, that application was completed by an agent who falsified information about my marital status, parents names and their date of birth. Including false information about my academic qualifications and work details stating that I am a field engineer going for a training seminar whereas I am a nurse. however, my biodata were correct. Now, I am applying for a UK study visa to pursue a nursing degree and I am worried of my prevous records/experience with the US refusal since I have to state in my application that I was denied US visa in the past.
Will UKBA find out details about information supplied to US immigration? what informoation will they share about applicants records? Are you trying to suggest that the agent does all that without your consent? You attended interview without knowing those fake details? |

Transformium: Thank you so much. I have started filling my application but i have a few questions to ask you.
1. "Is this your ist passport" - Here i said no, cos i had the old Nigerian passport while i was still little but i never used it to travel. Although my visiting visa application was turned down back then.
Am i right to say no and enter the passport details?
2. "How long do yo intend to stay in the uk." - My program is a year, although i saw on the Ukba site that one could stay 4months after the course end date. So what do i fill here?
3. "Whats the name of your sponsor?" - is this referring to my sponsor (i.e parent /guardian ) or the university?
4. There is a part under the TIER 4 STUDENT, that has this;
"Confirm the following options " -studying -undertaking a post as a sabbatical officer -undertaking a foundation programme as a postgradaute doctor or dentist
Which of the options do i pick?
5."Do you have established presence in the uk " What do i fill here ?
6. "Do you receive support from a financial sponsor that meets the uk visa and immigration definition of a financial sponsor.
7. Maintenance fee - This is supposed to be how much?
8. Total points you are claiming - this means what?
Cc justwise 1. If you have applied for visa with the old passport then the answer is Yes, it doesn't matter if you have traveled with it or not. 2. 16 months if you are going for msc. 3. Your university's name. 4. Studying. 5. No, becuase you haven't lived in the U.k before. 6. No, if you are not getting scholarship. 7. See page one of this thread. 8. Same ^ |

Resco23: also no i wasnt given a report, i was told they dont give reports on lost passports They do that is the whole essence of reporting it to the police. Applying for another passport through Nigerian embassy website is not difficult i renewed mine couple of months ago as i don't want to apply for visa when visiting Nigeria. Log on to their website, apply and pay for it then printout the payment receipt, you will be given an apportionment date when you will take those documents + £20 worth of postal order to the embassy for submission and biometric. |

That is one part of your problem solved another one is to proof that you can afford to pay for child birth in US. Looking for a 'cheap' hospital may not help you at POE, you may have to look for something that is not too cheap and not too expensive. |

Resco23: i just recently did that, yes Were you given a report? If yes then use that to get an Emergency Travel Certificate from Nigerian embassy because getting another passport within a month there is almost impossible. You also need to notify the UKBA about the visa so that when you get to Nigeria, get another passport you can contact the embassy for visa reissuing. You need to make a photocopy of the police report and the Emergency Travel Certificate because the original of those documents will be taken away from you at the embassy and the airport in Nigeria |

FrontPageLawyer: @Justwise, I admire your sense of understanding. You're too much.
@poster, nice thread. But except you just need the visa to migrate to another country, you can start a business and have it registered. Open a company and salary account once your documents are ready from CAC.
Work out your monthly salary and ensure it is transferred from your company's account to your salary account each month. Do this for about 2-3 years and ensure you're tax compliance; with your company's documents, business receipts, contract papers, e.t.c you should be fine to submit an application.
Best wishes. No worries..its all good. Thanks for your kind words though. |

You need to be running the company properly for at least a year, pay your tax and get tax certificate to be used for the visa application. Remember that you will only be using the profit from the company and not the actual business capital for the travel. |

(sorry if my question sound stupiid) No your question does not sound stupid and no registering a company for the pure purpose of securing a visa within 6 months is a waste of time and money because it will not be matured enough to act as your tie to Nigeria since it will be your only source of income. |
