You will need to do authentication at Minister of Education and ministry of foreign affairs all in Abuja including the embassy. Blessed2015: 3 are working full time, 2 are doing business and 1 is unemployed. Which visa will they use family or visitor.since my fiancé sponsored me, will he be able to sponsor them and how is the best way to apply. Your help will be highly appreciated and many thanks They will apply for standard visa which covers all other types of visas including family visa. Your fiancé can sponsor them if he can comfortably afford it else they have to sponsor themselves and proof to the ECO that they have the money for the trip. |

fajigirl: @ Justwise and other travel moderators on Nairaland, I am beginning to feel unfairly treated and victimised on here. Tips and trip reports are not the same thing even if they are on the same country. There are several threads on countries like the UK on different topics why are they not closed and have just one thread for each country? I think you just have an issue with me having a blog and using Nairaland to showcase it too. I honestly do not know why you would have a problem with that. Would you ban a journalist from creating politics topics on your forum or even referencing their newspaper or job? My blog is not commercial it is a hobby I have for now and I like helping people plan their trips too. What is so wrong in me participating in the travel section of Nairaland? So far you have two threads talking about two separate issues and that is allowed, you are allowed to referring your articles using your blog since that is the source of the article and i got no problem with that but i have problem when you keep referring people to your blog rather than having discussion here. You started a thread about Seychelles and i expected you to discuss everything about Seychelles in that thread and not keep opening a new thread about Seychelles even when the previous one is not even a page long. I don't have problem with your blog as long as you don't spam this section with it. |

classichique: Hello Justwise,
my husband and i want to renew our UK visa. we went for olympics in 2012 and got a 6months visa then. Now we want to apply for 2years.
i have the following questions.
1. we intend to stay in the UK for only 3 to 4days, would it not be some how to apply for 2 years but write in the form that we want to stay for only 3days?
2. We dont have any body to send us invitation letters, so we want to apply saying we are going to stay in a hotel, how do we go about the hotel reservation?
can we use a hotel reservation, where we are expected to pay on arrival for the visa application?
someone told me that this might not work and advised me to do a dummy booking, where he's asking me to pay 15k which he claims will be paid to the hotel and is non-refundable.
3. my husband has about 1.5M in his account buy has no steady flow of money (he doesnt earn salary every month) i have about 1.4M and have my salary hitting my account every month. hope my husband's account wont spoil our chances His coy pays in cash alot of times, so his pay slip doesnt tally with his cash inflow.
What do you advise 1. 2 yrs application is ok, it doesn't matter how long you are going to stay. 2. Hotel booking is perfectly ok, search for hotel in the city you are visiting and book directly from the hotel website or use booking.com website to book. Yes you can use hotel reservation and pay on the arrival if the hotel policy permits. Please don't make any dummy booking, make real booking, many hotels will not charge you upfront. 3. Your husband can use the additional info space in the form to explain his payment system and how salary comes into his account. |

eniayooke: Hello guys,
In defending other monies in my account,
Do i write it on an additional piece of paper or make the comments on my statement of account as the space provided for additional info won't be enough?
Also do i need to add receipts of this transactions like print out of online transfer.
I will also like to know the validity of an Introduction/Invitation letter.
Thank you. 1. You can use the space provided in the form, if that is not enough then use separate paper. 2. You can add those receipt to support your application 3. How old is the IV? |

We are planning to invite at least 6 family members to attend our wedding. please advise on what we can provide to sponsor their applocation. Visa clarification is it family or visitor visa. Opluses: Good morning Oga Justwise and Co,
Kindly help answer this unclear question please.
I have two sponsors(couple), both of them are willing to tender their statement of accounts including an invitation letter. In my salary account, I have about 850k, and my sponsors are willing to take care of my accommodation, feeding, train, shopping, and every other things aside my flight ticket.
Now my question is, would there be any issue if my personal budget is as low as £700 which could be my Plane Ticket?
Thanks in anticipation. What is your actual salary range? |

kokegbe: Please can we get back on track. Where is the whole Germany vs Uk thing coming from? The post is about the things one should consider before going to the UK for studies. It has now become uk vs germany, as a result those who have important questions or even contributions cannot say what they want to. For the guy that wrote that @Obiwann, nigeria is not a yeye country. It's simple if you want to go overseas, whether Ghana or Australia, please know the country well, and importantly have in mind what you are going there for. @Justwise was just making it clear that 8000Euros is not small money. How many Nigerians have #2,000,000? That was his point, lest people think they will go to Uk, or Germany or wherever in this world as an international student and think that they will hustle to pay for their studies, e no go work. u might say nothing is impossible, yes, but this one might even cost u ur life or force u into crime. I say this cos most of us think gold is on the streets of canada, usa, australia and all through europe. i laugh in ikwerre. Don't waste your time with those who can't be bothered to read and understand. Even if you print it in bold they will still argue off-point. |

Samoalfred: Very true. Most of the funding available are for home students.Sometimes, some international students can be fortunate to get an offer for a PhD -partial tuition (Home students fee rate) and stipend if they are exceptional or having an outstanding masters project that needs more development. Yes some do get partial scholarship which is not good enough though |

Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir, who is wanted for war crimes, has left South Africa, pre-empting a court ruling over an international warrant for his arrest. The Pretoria High Court was due to decide whether he should be handed over to the International Criminal Court which charged him with the crimes. Mr Bashir was in Johannesburg for an African Union (AU) summit. A news conference will be held in Khartoum upon his arrival. On Sunday, a judge barred him from leaving until the arrest application had been considered. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-33135562 |

hoomogh: so in this regard, is it advisable I get it stamped from any of these countries, or its not necessarily important ? Just wanna be sure Its not important...that is like running away from your own shadow, you will still have to meet visa requirements which is more important that travel history. There is always a first time for every frequent traveler. Concentrate on meeting the visa requirements. |

Preciousstones: Justwise good morning,I saw one of your post about doing a phd in uk and its benefits.how true is that?how people don't talk about it or are Nigerians not going for phd in the uk? People don't talk about it because doing PhD is costly if you don't have funding from the school. Universities in the UK rarely fund PhD since the government withdrew funding from universities. So schools fund PhD programs and they pick carefully who benefits from it. |

Still on defending other source of cash inflow on salary accounts.
Here's my question:
To avoid the offence of "Money "Lodgement" which could lead to refusal. How can one defend or explain in writing/document cash gotten from "group monthly contibution" locally known as (ajo) that are mostly without receipts to VOs?
Thanks in anticiation. You can only try to explain it as much as you because there is no other way to backup such money with paper evidence since there is no receipt |
