idolda: Good evening justwise and others. I'm trying to book an appointment for my sister online for the Tier 4 student visa but I'm having difficulty paying the $502 visa fees. The response is always transaction failed and I have used the same MasterCard to pay on that same application last year before she was denied visa
I learnt that CBN has placed a limit of $300 per day on Nigerian cards. Can this be the reason for the transaction failure? Is there any other means through which I can make the payment?
Your advice will be greatly appreciated. SpikesC will help when he sees this. |

She has a salary account that has a bal of 700k + a treasury bill cert of 600k hope that will be OK? Hoping to read from you soon Thanks 1. Her marriage certificate will do 2. Booking hotel is ok as long as it's good enough for her and the kid. 3. Yes she should present her salary account, payslip and the treasury bill certificate |

thisismystique: Hi. Not much has changed except the fact that I make a little more financially. Also, I rented a new apartment in October 2014 but although I paid for Legal fees, my landlord is yet to provide me neither the Tenancy Agreement nor my receipt of payment. If that is the form of salary increment then good, but if you are still earning the same amount as last year then it's not a good idea. Another thing is....when you are refused a visa and you want to reapply you have to address the refusal point. |

kokorasta: Hello Justwise, I am back again.
I registered a company in 2012 and I paid the POL Fee this year that covers from 2012-1014,as i didn't commence business until Dec 24th last year. I have a day job as well but from time to time, payment for my goods or services is paid into my salary account. I supply wedding souvenirs and corporate gifts. I will not have a TCC until end of this year or early next year, for all the payments I have received from December and this year. Payments for my good or services does not stay in my personal account. I always end up withdrawing it to purchase items or pay into my company account Which shows in my account debits. All of this payments I have invoices for.
My question is, is it Ok to submit just my POL TCC, since that's the only tax clearance I have for my company? The money for the trip is also not funded from my company account but from my salary account. The only reason I am bringing my company into the 'equation' is because of some of the credits '(and debits) that occurs in the account which I have to explain the source. Submit all the document that will help you proof your tie to Nigeria and the source of money in your savings account. Yes the money for the trip shouldn't come from your company's account |

thisismystique: Hello,
I applied for a Family visit visa last year and was denied. I was never told I had to explain my bank statement until after the denial. I was also informed that I was denied because I'm single and there is nothing tying me here.
I am about to apply for another Family visit visa as my sister is pregnant and I want to see if I can leverage on that. I have a paid employment with a salary of 107,920 net. But I also have a law firm which I actively run as a private practice. I do not have any tax documents. Is it okay if I submit my Certificate of Registration of the business and Practicing Fees receipt for this Legal year as proof that I have no intention of disappearing?
I also intend to submit my sister's Maternity Certificate. Will all of these suffice? What has changed from the last time you applied and now? I mean in terms of finance, property/business, single / married? |

JohnSnow008: Thanks for your response Justwise. It is within the 200k band after tax - I intend to submit my application before this week runs out as the training is slated for 2nd week in May. This means the statement I will submit will not have my salary for this month included. Since your company is picking all the bills submit your salary account the way it's and your payslip, don't make any attempt to move money into it. |

I am wondering why someone should decide to become an undocumented immigrant in a foreign country abandoning a job that earns him good 200 bales every month in Nigeria.
Can you help with advise! Your friend is an ungrateful employee. How about the company that gave him job and the opportunity to gain foreign training experience? |

JohnSnow008: Hello All. I am in the process of applying for a Business Visitor Visa for a training in the UK to be fully sponsored by my company. I have the letter stating this from the company and also a letter of invitation from the Training Facility in the UK. My only concern is that my personal fund is just about 100k as I just started working in the company a few weeks ago. I was wondering if this will affect the outcome of the visa in any way. Btw, the company will not put in their statement of account as its against the Company Policy. What is your salary range? |

click44: @ justwisw thank you for. Your reply. she hold British passport. We got it for her when she was few months log Ok that makes it a lot easier, you apply for family visit visa though you need an invitation letter from her daddy, proof of accommodation and his bank statement/payslips. You also need to present your business documents, bank statement and any other properties you have. |

justwise: That depends on a whole lot of scenarios....who owns the company? Solo proprietor or limited/ plc company? Are you submitting the company's account, tax certificate and personal account? Is the company's net profit good enough for your fees and maintenance?
Basically you can't use friend's/family member's, an uncle etc company's account for visa application because the money in that account is for the running of the business. Pmiller1: ...It's limited, yea am submitting the company's account SOA,TCC and it has more than enough money for the fees and maintenance... |

modskiller : the company belongs to a family friend, his services are related to the course of interestUsing it makes no sense because he is not going to close his business and hand the money over to you to spend in Canada. It can't act as your tie to Nigeria because you are not the proprietor. |

I applied last year and was given a 3 year tier 4 visa I'm currently in first year here in the uk bsc but wish to switch to another institution and continue from second year. Do I need to do a new application to ukba and show fees and maintenance etc?
Thanks in advance cc justwise No, you can switch as long as the two schools allow it and you are still holding valid visa. |
