sanchezzz: Good morning just wise and everybody. Please I need your help on this issue. I applied for tier 4 visa but was refused (financial issue though). So my dad said I should differ till September next year. By then my sis should be through with her prog in UK too. My question now is can I apply for 6 months visiting visa? I already paid half of my school fee. Can I attach my school receipt with my application? That is the only tie I think I have now. Definitely I will come back to Nigeria to reapply for my tier 4 visa next sept. What are my chances please. Thanks in advance. Personally I think you should give it a break, you were refused tier 4 visa on financial ground and suddenly you want to apply for visiting visa? It will look desperate and will probably cast doubt over your previous tier 4 visa application. Next year is not too far to wait. |

tosine25: **** Your Advise is needed
I recently applied for a family visit visa to UK with my parent. They were giving and I was refused on the ground that they were unable to verify if truly am a student of da claimed institution here in Nigeria. I went straight to sch to show da letter to my HoD and asked if he was contacted and I discover the embassy sent mail to the school 4 times to confirm if am a student and they didn't reply.
My question is can I file for a review of my application as soon as the school help me send the confirmation to embassy? or what can I do? I'm not sure how going for review will help your case because the embassy tried many times to get info from your school but they failed to reply. If your school can write a letter ackwonledging their mistake then reapply with that letter. |

zaliya: Hi Justwise. I have a related issue. My hubby just left for his PhD studies about 3 weeks ago. He is not working there and yet to send in his resignation letter to his company here in Nigeria. But I work here in Nigeria with an oil servicing company which also has an office in London. I do hope to apply with my 3 kids to join him soon, and hope to continue with my job in the London office. Meanwhile I don't want my company to get the work permit for me so as not to be solely tied to them due to flexibility. Which one do I apply for? DEPENDANT or for work permit? What TIER? Thanks. To be able to continue your job here you need to apply for intra-company transfer visa(Tier 2) but you need documents from your company. Dependant visa will not allow you to work full time...considering the sort of job you have |

tobey2ng: @worry359@justwise,Can you explain what this implies? You have no evidence of travel and compliance with immigration procedures similar to that of uk . It basically means that you haven't traveled to any country with strict immigration rules similar to that of the UK...US, Canada, France..etc |

But I don't want to get into trouble. Please help us newbies. Thanks!
@justwise looks like you are the moderator, please share your thoughts. Thanks everyone. This thread is a magnet for crooks because they want to take advantage of preg women with loads of money traveling to a strange country. Not everybody here are genuine, some keep viewing but contribute very little just want to see you drop contact details or ask question about accommodation then the PMs started flooding in. Genuine members here who wants to help will not send you pm offering you any deal, only those dubious characters does that. |

myteax: The one sent to me does not state "Visa Issued"
Its just this "Your visa has now been processed and is ready for collection. We aim to return passports to the Visa Application Centre where you lodged your application within 2 working days."
But my friend that was denied was Your Visa Application has now been processed...
What is your view about that @justwise You need to go and pick up your package to know exactly what it's. There is nothing we say here that will change the outcome. |

coldstone84: Hi everyone,am new here,my wife applied for eea family permit from nigeria, and she was refused because they said that my wife is not wholly or mainly dependent on me,or if my wife is it is a dependency of necessity rather than choice, there is no evidence of regular bank transfer or bank statement.they am not satisfied my wife needs the finicial support of me to meet her essential needs in nigeria. When my wife made the application,I wrote a cover letter stating that instead of sending money to my wife through western union and paying the charges,I have a colleague at work in London to has a gtbank account,I give him pounds and he transfers the money immediately to my wife's account,as am not nigerian, but Portuguese, but the mistake we made was that my wife didn't include her bank statement,as the recipients name on her account statement won't reflect mine but my friends name How do I tackle this, please I need answers,as I need my wife to join me in the uk. Will you be able to provide evidence of those money transactions? That is...money you paid into your friend,s account in the UK and evidence of his transfer to your wife in Nigeria? |

Mohthayho: Hi guyz,
I just want to knw If I can apply for a Germany visiting visa from the UK. I am going to the UK for a visit as well and then go to Germany from UK.
I would have applied here in Nigeria but I dont have much time again that's why I want to know if I can still apply in UK.
Pls I just want to know if I can apply for Germany visit visa from UK. And if I can pls kindly tell me the procedure.
Thanks. Peace. That is almost impossible as you are not a UK resident and do not have a strong tie to the UK, you should have done that in Nigeria where your chances are higher if you met the requirements. |
