oxatto: It pains me like I said ok, don't have anything to discuss with you ok, try to learn how to talk to people because I have read most of your post, I found out u lack just that, even if u r doing many Nigerians some little favour they can get! I have the right to my E-book and mind you I never told you I was gonna sell it to him, even if I'm gonna sell it to him, I actually purchased it so I have my rights. I'm gonna forward every info to him for free cos he already contacted me later in the day! So adios. And for the Rest of u that r jobless saying shit about me get ur brains examine.
Yes i feel your pain as well, its really painful to have a worthless e-book and you are not allowed to sale it to your victims. I suggest you keep giving it out for free offline, the chances of you getting a victim here is zero.
@justwise, 10x for the advice bt the VO stated that he's nt sure if the money is mine cos of the irregular outflow and that the credits and balances does nt correlate. As to ur question, yea I earn the money thru salary and I even gat letter of intro from my office, enclosed my payslips and original statement of acct.
That is all you need to proof that you earn the money, make sure that there is no other money going into your salary account that is not from your wages or money you can not explain the source.

mediaboy: Thanks bro. I checked the requirements for eligibility, in this visa category. It's spot on. She earns about £30,000, lives alone in a 3-bedroom apartment, and has maintained a permanent position at work for about 3yrs now.
I just asked this, because eventually, we will settle down before the end of the year. i am currently outside Nigeria, but intend to return in a few months to sort out plans, and then reapply.
Ok cool, get married to her in Nigeria and apply for spouse visa from Nigeria, keep all your communications with her, phone records, emails, text, fb chats..etc.
Travel › Re: Justwise, Pls Help For Error In My Waec Result For Uk Admission by justwise(mod): 12:09pm On Feb 27, 2013
MOELLIOTT: I schooled and live in the UK. The middle name is of no real significance. Some people spell my middle name Timileyin some spell Timilehin. Some add Olu and others Oluwa. It's a variance on the same name. No one has ever asked me why the difference.

The error is also too insignificant to be picked up. Use your first and last names. If you need to include a middle name use the correct spelling.

Once you start adding affidavit, you are looking for undue attention. Nigerians are already seen in a questionable light so don't add more documents than you need. The quality of the result is more importnt than the misspelt middlename!

God success!
That is not true, your name is your name, whether middle, first or last name, any misspelling will mean a completely different thing, especially when you are dealing with something like visa or international traveling

Some airlines will charge you as much as 50 pounds to correct your name if you misspelt it.

mediaboy: Thanks @justwise. The officer stated in the refusal letter that he is not satisfied that i meet all the requirements of paragraph 41 of the immigration rules. I showed my bank statement and also another bank statement from someone stating that he was going to give me a certain amount of money. He also stated that I am yet to establish myself in terms of property, assets, career or family commitments.
My question now is, What if i decided to get married in the Uk, to a Citizen whom i'm currently in a relationship with? Will the above refusal decision be repeated, if my circumstances remain the same? Note: I have proof that we've been together for a while (physically), email conversations, phone records, facebook chats, skype, and a few other means of communication.

When do you think would be the best time to apply for the visa, so it's not perceived that I hastened my decision to get married because i was denied a visit?
Thanks
If you got married to somebody who is a citizen it will not change much, you will still be refused if you don't meet the requirements. So you need to make sure that she earns about £18000 a year before she can bring you to the UK as her spouse or you can afford to apply for family visiting visa.

Square65: Justwise, I think we can still afford to accommodate a somewhat interesting topic just to keep the thread alive during this period of sparse inquiries. I would rather have it derailed a little bit during this period than have the thread in the state it has been for the last one month during when we had an average posting of abt 3/4 per day.

And yes, I support that students/visa inquiries should be given priority.
Sorry i preferred that it remains strictly US student visa thread, you can start a thread specifically for behavior of Nigerian students in US and leave this purely for student visa.

bubblygirl78: Luckily we applied for oral hearing. I really don't knw for d lawyer. Is it possible they call me in lagos to bring anything they need? If they feel they need something? Maybe the hard copy of the test or evidence of communication? Cos the thot of that july is really saddening but what can I do?
The lawyer is saying we shld withdraw and reapply. I'm not keen on that really. I wld just rather wait out the appeal. Really.
What do you think?
Before they normally contact you asking if you have any additional document to support your application before the hearing date is set but i think that has stopped now. Your hubby can take any additional document to the hearing.

You can still reapply, if you want, its faster than waiting for months.
