BackDatAssUp:
Buhari and the North will grant Boko Haram full paid amnesty

Obama was the first to state that widespread poverty and ignorance as a direct result of systematic corruption was at the root of Boko Haram. The US ambassador to Nigeria stated in the past that Christians in Jos and Kaduna were the instigators of most attacks on them. Hillary Clinton as US secretary of state, refused to declare Boko Haram as a Foreign Terrorist Organization thereby denying Nigeria the much needed international support to tackle Boko Haram. But when the Chibok girls scam broke out, Hilary was one of the first international figures to take to her twitter account in support of the campaign.
John Kerry will later take over from Hilary Clinton as US secretary of state from where he declared Boko Haram as a FTO. But Obama still refused to support Us claiming human rights violations committed by Nigerian forces.

The likes of that puppet, Obasanjo then stated that Boko Haram had genuine grievances which then opened the flood gate to a renewed call for amnesty for Boko Haram by prominent northern figures. The likes of Justice Uwais, whose son has since joined ISIS had the audacity to suggest amnesty for Boko Haram.

Shettima who is the chief security officer of Borno state which happens to be the state at the epicentre of Boko Haram and who has mysteriously never come under attack by the group is now demanding 13% derivation in order to rebuild the ravaged north east.

Amnesty International has already started painting Boko Haram as the victim ignoring all their past and continuous lunacy by concentrating on Nigeria's military forces and tactics in combating Boko Haram. Amnesty international forgot that we are at war with madmen and in war itself there isn't any pleasant way to kill the enemy.

The dullard of Daura and current occupier of assh0le rock, Buhari prior to him being sworn in as President was one of the first and lone voices calling for a similar amnesty package for Boko Haram like that granted the Niger Delta militants.

All that remains now is for us to watch and see the likes of Falana, Soyinka, Oby, civil rights groups, emirs, Obas in the south, paid student rallies from southwest university join the call to grant Boko Haram amnesty.

And you wonder why we remain backward.

EPIC! God bless you bro, God bless you

Politics / Re: Meet The Only Two Nigeria Leaders That Publicly Declared Their Assets by juventino: 3:34pm On Jun 06, 2015

Don't be deceived by all this pointless and fake news.
Lets all focus on reasons the president has not presented his cabinet.Today is the 8th day with no public sighting of Buhari or his team since his inauguration.

No televised interaction with journalists.

Only USA's chosen Osinbajo and Atiku are talking to journalists and helping to maintain the deception.

What I am saying is Buhari was never handed power, Osinbajo may soon be promoted to president.

In the meantime present him as being incompetent; have you noticed that news media are not clamouring for information from the transition committee about the formation of a cabinet?

The trips to Chad and Niger were made before inauguration before he went to London to visit David Cameron and accompany his children back home for his inauguration.

Have you noticed that every scheduled event involving the leadership of APC has been cancelled for one reason or another?

Politics / Re: A Diary Of President Mohammed Buhari's Presidency From 29th May 2015 - by juventino: 7:22am On Jun 03, 2015
Excerpt from Facebook:
1. Buhari committed plagiarism by quoting a line from a song that 'he belongs to everyone and no one' at the same time, refusing to give credits to the owner of the song. So, intellectual property and copyright issues Nollywood has been fighting can go to blazes!

2. Right after plagiarism, he moved the military command center from Abuja to Borno, in an effort to kill two birds (insecurity with the army being too close to him judging from experience and ethnic agenda) with one stone.

3. Aisha displayed 'Modesty' of epic proportions my wearing a ₦10Million Naira wrist watch the inauguration of her husband who couldn't afford nomination form. For those saying it's a gift, you CONVENIENTLY FORGET that A MINISTER OF HEALTH has been sacked in this same Nigeria for accepting a WRIST WATCH gift. So, it has been established that wrist watch as a gift is a corrupt practice, especially for the recipient. Can we start the prosecution if Aisha already?

4. We got a First Lady after all. Buhari said there won't be one, there is one. Aisha said she won't be one, she released an official portrait.

5. On his first day of work yesterday, he resumed work by 11am with the excuse that he overslept! A round of applause please.

6. A propaganda job with a UK newspaper, The Metro went ironically awry; the article that was supposed to praise Buhari for declaring his assets PUBLICLY inserted the WRONG picture, underlining the fact that God works in mysterious ways, their lies to expose.

7. Nyako that he and his son, an unelected, non-governmental official stole Adamawa blind is back! Everybody say 'Baba'! He's about to be baptized in River Buhari, which cleanses you of all your crimes without trace.

8. Sylvia, the weed-addict that stole Bayelsa dry, remember? The one that EFCC has been prosecuting, remember? The EFCC lawyer based in Chatham house has gone Pontious Pilate on him, only that Sylvia ain't getting crucified, he will be transmigrated into sainthood!

Nairaland / General / Untested Ebola Drug Fails To Save Spanish Priest by juventino: 11:13am On Aug 12, 2014
As the death toll from the Ebola epidemic soars over 1,000, a team of medical experts say it is ethical to offer medications to fight the virus even if a drug's effectiveness or its adverse effects are unknown.
"The large number of people affected by the 2014 west Africa outbreak, and the high case-fatality rate, have prompted calls to use investigational medical interventions to try to save the lives of patients and to curb the epidemic," the World Health Organization said Tuesday.
WHO said it believes the virus has infected 1,848 people and killed 1,013 -- making this the deadliest Ebola outbreak in history.
The desperation has pushed Liberia's government to ask for scarce quantities of an untested drug from a U.S.-based company.
The Food and Drug Administration approved Liberia's request for access to ZMapp, and sample doses of the medicine will be sent to Liberia this week to treat doctors who have contracted Ebola, the Liberian government said.
The drug's manufacturer, Mapp Biopharmaceutical, said its supply was exhausted after fulfilling the request of a West African country.
ZMapp made international headlines after two American aid workers infected with Ebola in Liberia took the serum -- and their conditions apparently improved.
But a Spanish priest who was infected Ebola in Liberia and started taking ZMapp died Tuesday morning.
Spain's Ministry of Heath said Saturday that Miguel Pajares was being treated with ZMapp at a Madrid hospital. The hospital confirmed Pajares' death Tuesday.

Phones / Re: Ios Users Spend Seven Times More Time Online Than Android Users by juventino: 11:00am On Aug 04, 2014

I'm sure you didn't read this

I didn't dispute the fact that android has more users; based on the number of platform it operates on (HTC, Samsung, LG et al.), and many cheap smart phones making it more affordable. However, the article shows that iOS users have a terrific browsing experience than android users

Phones / Ios Users Spend Seven Times More Time Online Than Android Users by juventino: 9:55am On Aug 04, 2014
Net Applications monitors over 40,000 websites to check the traffic from mobile devices and has found out that 44.62% of users are on Android whereas 44.19% of the users are on iOS (the rest taken by other mobile platforms).

But while Android has a slightly greater percentage in this case, when you take into account that iOS has far fewer people actually using the OS compared to the total number of Android users, you can conclude that a greater percentage of all iOS users spend time browsing the web on their devices than their Android counterparts, as much as seven times more.

The reason for this is not too complicated. It has been said repeatedly that a majority of the Android marketshare consists of cheap smartphones, bought by people who are looking for something affordable and are likely not tech or net savvy. iOS devices, on the other hand, are exclusively high-end devices, where the users are far more likely to be aware of the internet and are thus using it more often.

This is not too different from the metrics for app purchases as well, and explains why developers and advertisers prefer to target iOS more. But with Android now pushing ahead due to sheer market share numbers, there are now more Android users online, even if it is just a small fraction of the total number of Android users.
