Foreign AffairsRe: What's Happening To Nigerian Economy? Top Biscuit Reduced From 5 To 3. by Juxtified(m): 4:27pm On Jul 10, 2016
lol. I was quarrelling with a seller the other day that Parle G biscuits that used to be very fat is now as slim as a sim card. I knew it wasn't her fault sha, but I just had to vent my anger on someone. I ended up buying a few simply to appease her.

Good News from the East.

I am impressed. Africans?Nigerians? why are we like this? this move by the Peace Transport Management, should be commended by us, and not be viewed with disdain or suspicion. Sometimes i am puzzled, that even with our level of Education, we still ascribe to the age long belief of witchery, sorcery and blood sucking.

Accidents occur everyday. Even in developed Countries, where Companies have a good service history of their vehicles as required by Law, still have multiple accidents, let alone those without a maintenance culture in Nigeria.

Back to Back, the Malaysian Airline lost hundreds of people. One has still not been recovered, and the other got shot down when it flew between the Ukraine and Russia troops(Ukraine Separatist is the official version) exchanging Mortar/Rocket Fire, so The owners of the Malaysian Airline suck Blood too?

We can go on. Air France/British Airways have lost Thousands of Passengers via Air Crash, Egypt Air and a host of others too. These guys are blood suckers or use the passengers Blood for Rituals too? Education is one thing,Enlightenment is another, a lot of people need to get enlightened.

Reminds me of a gist with a Benin friend of mine days ago, who kept boasting that Benin Juju is this and that, and so i asked him do you believe in Juju, he said yes. And then i asked him, if Benin Juju is so Powerful, how come the British tied your Oba with Ropes, and took him to Calabar where he died and no Juju Killed any British? he still has not answered.

We should have an open mind please.
Your point was already very clear even before you decided to throw shades at one of the most reverred monarchs in Nigerian history. Not cool bro.

I would say sumec. I have three at home. Unfortunately there is no way of telling if you are buying a genuine one. Also there is no way of telling which generation it is.

Firman, tiger, Elepaq, elepon, are all generic generators assembled in China solely for the purpose of making money. Those behind these generators are not interested in building a brand that will last, but a cow they will milk to death and move on from. I am saying this because the pattern is the first batch of any of these items sold in Nigeria is very good, which builds the market and buyer confidence. However, the quality drops with successive batches fabricated, so that the profit will increase.

But a firman, but note my disclaimer.
I agree with everything you have said sha, but my question is, how did you come to be using 3 generators at once?! What are their capacities (KVA)?

HealthRe: You Are Not Doctors! Nigerian Man Who Nearly Died From Error Blasts Pharmacists by Juxtified(m): 6:13pm On Jul 09, 2016
The eternal war between doctors and pharmacists. When doctors prescribe medications the pharmacist who doesn't know why that particular drug was prescribed will change it and decide to give a 'better' drug. Most times the ignorant patient goes along with it. Only the more enlightened ones insist on getting the drug prescribed by the doctor

Nigerians don't respect laws until they see scapegoats. By the time some are arrested and jailed, they'll start wailing its because they are PDP members.

AgricultureRe: Are There Plants Like This In Nigeria? by Juxtified(m): 8:45pm On Jul 08, 2016
It is not the plant that matters, it is the gardener. There are lots of fine, creeping plants like this but it takes money and a skilled gardener to produce the outcome you're seeing in this pix now.

Judas sat and dined with Jesus Christ for years, yet he still didn't become an apostle. He ended up betraying Jesus and killing himself. So what's new?

PS: Will he become a Buddhist tomorrow if this Muslim he's now modelling his life after betrays him?

Her bad, right? Ssorai
No, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying its her bad. The guy definitely misbehaved and doesn't seem like someone who'll repent on being caught or confronted. What I'm trying to say is, if you don't know what to do next or are not prepared to face the hard truth, why bother to go through your partner's phone?
From the way I see it - and that is the bitter truth for any realistic person - that marriage is already over. But is the woman ready to leave the marriage? Now that she has gone through the phone and confirmed her fear, will she sit on her butt crying for help or do the smart thing and get a divorce?

In as much as I agree that there should have been a timeline, that is not a requirement.
Do you give a timeframe to a defaulter of a traffic offence to arrest him.
Will they try this in Switzerland
Although they said the law against traffic hawking has been in existence for long, for the sake o fairness there still should have been some prior few months of warnings.

You are right but I think plans should have been made on how to get these hawkers suitable replacements before now.

Also there ought to have be prior notice,if the government wasn't going to make alternative plans for them, before the immediate enforcement of the said law.

It came too soon and suddenly ,like a thief in the night.
There wasn't enough sensitisation campaign before the ban sha, true. I guess Ambode wasn't ready for all the politics that comes with waiting for a public consensus on street trading ban

Who you be ?

Sorry but no offense cheesy.
Lol.
He's a Nigerian, so he has the right to speak for or against any government he has helped vote into power.

I for one am not against the ban, though. I feel with the rate of development in Lagos, the ban is kind of due. Remember when motorcycles were banned, everyone raised dust but today many major cities are better off for it. Of course they were replaced with taxis and tricycles which are safer and more dignified.

People don't have to buy gala or water in traffic hold ups in order to survive. If you know you're likely to be trapped in a hold up on your way, why not buy whatever you want to at the park before boarding your vehicle? Its also less stressful.

And consider the number of hawkers that have been crushed by vehicles, or had injuries while chasing speeding cars...

Not to talk of the fact that hawkers themselves are a minor cause of hold ups
