Come to think of it, a whole Delta State CP told us that there was no injury, just his men who were fatigued due to entering an unfamiliar tarrain. He didn't mentioned the missing men now dead. Odiegwu! In the state we have one man who calls himself the "State Governor", the person of Dr. Okowa who says he cannot ban open cattle grazing because it goes against ECOWAS rules which Nigeria is signatory to. OKOWA, BAN CATTLE GRAZING ELSE VERY SOON THESE FULANI CRIMINALS AND TERRORISTS WILL COME FOR YOUR HEAD AND THOSE IF YOUR KINSMEN! Let us not forget it was Fulani Herdsmen who killed a monarch in Delta North last year. My people if the elected Governors or Local Govt. Chairmen do not want to ban it, let monarchs of neighbouring kingdoms place a total ban of open grazing in their kingdoms, communicate such to the respective Area Commander, Army GOC, Commissioner of Police, the head of the Huasa-Fulani community and government, the media as well as pull resources together in enforcing it. These blood thirsty herdsmen will not stop unless we put an end to their madness. My condolences to the families of the men KIA. |
Please are the Fulani herdsmen El Rufai admittedly paid money to among these persons paraded? If not then police has a case to answer. In addition Southern Kaduna should be expecting more attacks. The attackers do not rest, its their style. |
GREED, GREED and GREED. I don't pity such victims. Don't they ask themselves what sort of business returns 100% after tax of investment. Even gun running or drug running businesses will not give u such returns. Greedy victim. Why didn't she trade with it and get 100% profit the next day. Scammers will continue to feed on the greed and foolishness of would be victims. |
I need to ask you a question. Did your school issue you with your Statement of Result? If yes, it means Senate has approved your result and the base data of you the student, i.e your departmental registration details and matriculation number. In addition, is your mat. no. same with the other student in question. When adviced to apply for another registration no. did you confirm from your department that the one you had, had error? Like someone mentioned, I believe someone has played a fast one on you. You should have investigated properly to know between you and that other student who got the reg. no. first. If it's you then yours should stand. I hope you have records to proove your case? Also petition your HODs superior. You can also parley someone in the other student dept. and get info of the reg. no. that was given to that student during admission. You need to be smart. |
Your first paragraph tells exactly what's in the heart and mind of some folks. I can't imagine rationalising the bombing. Its like a child from a low class family telling his dad he wasn't the only one who has failed the final exams, that Quinton whose dad is a federal judge failed as well. What would you call that? delishpot: |
This handling of this bombing of the IDP camp by the NAF really is so sad. I expected that the matter would have been properly investigated to determine the combination of factors that led to such incident. Like let us find out if it was actually an error as claimed by the military authorities, as well as from where the error came from. Was it a human error, system fault or the likes, so that we don't have a repeat. We dont want to have a governor's convoy or troops bombed. Until this is done, we can't tell for sure if it was an 'intended mistake", like someone deliberately giving the wrong coordinates to the pilot, or the pilot deliberately dropping the bombs. In addition, I strongly believe the victims of this act be properly cared for holistically - medicals, basic human needs, trauma care providers and the likes. Will the people of the North-East ever be free from violence. If their daughters are not abducted by covet agreement, their villages are destroyed by BH, or their welfare funds is stolen, worse still is to be bombed and left without required and proper care. |
My brother are you just finding out that something is fishy. It has been fishy sine the day Buhari picked Osibanjo as running mate. Security chiefs hold meeting with Northern Governors and the VP was not there. Osibanjo! Osibanjo! Osibanjo! How many times I call you. Love Machine: |
So is it a sin to ask people to defend themselves? Did you even listen to his statement or you are following peoples social media comment. Aufbauh: |
My people, MURIC must be high on some yet to be named newly discovered specie of weed. All MURIC has said is that: It's a right for Fulani herdsmen to slaughter people, destroy their farmlands, houses etc. Their cattle went missing and so it's the natives that stole them. Herdsmen are permitted to carry dangerous firearms. It is a crime for churches, villages, farmers to defend themselves againstt any invading terrorist disguising in whatever form (in fact they should wait to be slaughteted). The UN should punish those who want to defend themselves, while turning away from the madness and satanic actions of these herdsmen. They have just given us a clue, IT'S BEST YOU DONT ANNOUNCE YOU WANT TO DEFEND YOURSELF, JUST DEAL A DOUBLE BLOW TO THOSE WHO ATTACK YOU. |
You are right dear. Not everyone survives it. I lost an aunt early 90s to breast cancer. She had a surgery, came back home but still fell ill and latet died. sinaj: |
I have witnessed 3 of them. |
Surprised? They are google economists, bankers and experts. They copy from the West, hook, line and sinker. No modification obayaya: |
Sey market don dey fall press you? Make you no worry, the tin just dey start. Buhari just pull im cap, e never comot im daban ciki to show una the true color of im skin. sarrki: |
No one is insulting him. So as a student your parents should wait until you get to final year before asking for "EVIDENCE OF IMPROVEMENT" in your grades? No problem, we will wait till four years as adviced by you. Then you would help us write his report card. Agreed? claremont: |
I don't blame Bayo. I don't blame the OP. I don't blame the mod. So wit all the poverty, our economy wey dey kpeme, our infrastructure we e be say e no dey work again, na to come dey show us Buhari picture, abi? Sebi I go borrow money from my papa or wife, den print the pictures, come frame am put for house. So dat wen pecin wake up for morning, na to look the picture den food go enta my belle, my pikin school fees moni go vanish enta my pocket, even sef my airtime go just recharge imself so dat make I for fit thank Buhari and Bayo. No wahala na God go judge all of una. How about Bayo help Buhari release all the 'never released' effective and efficient turn around mechanisms for our sick economy. |
Egypt isn't a member of ECOWAS, I suppose you are referring to The AU. However, they would not have tried such with Egypt, they would have allowed the courts decide, then intervene if the incumbent proves stubborn. rockyh: |
Funny how ECOWAS acted. Rather than send in troops, I believe it could have helped by sending justices to Gambia's Supreme Court to fastrack giving judgement on the suit filled by Jammeh challenging the election result. This would ensure that the politcal challenge is given the opportunity to be resolved by the internal democratic mechanism of The Gambia. Most Heads of State and Government of the subregion were more concerned about Jammeh leaving office than help the country democratically. This is an unpleasant precedent that is being set, seemingly arising from Jammeh's long time in office, small geographical size, and an even tiny military. The question is: if it were to happen in Nigeria or Ghana, would ECOWAS deploy troops without letting the Supreme Court give judgement? |
FellepHq:No you are not right. When those police mount roger point they dont care if your papers are complete. All they care is you give them their roger if you like have a human head in your booth, they are not concerned about checking. It's commercial drivers that suffer this kind of case. Bus drivers, bike and keke riders. If you don jam police wey dey on roger work you no go talk like this. Dem ready to delay you for hours. |
Fabulosdave01:So are we going to build army barracks in every city or village that Fulani herdsmen attack? Arrest the perpetrators and those who arm and aid them. If you don't do this, the genocide would continue. Simple! |
PHfinest:Guy you are wicked. Do you mean like an adult literacy class? |
Are u not sure you want her just to kill your konji Mr Konjikiller? It appears she is in a relationship, and wouldn't want to keep two of it. If her guy fails her she would come and tell you yes. If her guy proceeds with her she would reject your offer, and still tell you both still be friends. |
Congrats Rauf. I am not surprised, one can only give what they have. Please issue an Executive Order closing ALL the higher institutions in Osun State. I believe when you have given them all your grand-father's free lands to farm, you would not need to train a new set of your citizens in the required skills-set to take over from the aging farmers. |
voicelez:If these senseless and unprovoked killings continue, in 2019 there will be no people to 'correct' the mistakes. Infact you would only have gauranteed the continuation of the genocidal madness by the political class and their "97%". |
Very true. A leopard never changes it's spot. In addition, he made a legacy in the 80's, now he is repeating it. He lacks the socio-political and economic acumen to lead or even appoint qualified and credible people to man the economy. It appears he is yet to realise that he is creating an economic mess and such mess is expensive to correct and would take years. I hope say we no go start to queue for bread or milk again. On a lighter note you folks should ignore that sarrki guy. He has painted a picture of one who lacks the mental capacity to intelligently observe and analyse the situation. sanandreas: |
Admin. pls remove d girl's pic. 9jakohai: |
Bankoleodewunmi:Very correct. Well to add to it, the court will after you have filed the above stated docs issue an order to the bank asking for details of the account, statement of the account. Based on this, Withholding tax will be caculated and you would need to pay the WHT upfront to the court. Then you would be given a final order to go and claim the funds from the bank. |
You see yourself. You think you are being funny with your remark, but it just shows your inferiority complex. Sadly it has become ingrained in you that you insult your heritage. Any kid would do that or go drag someone in the house to help, be it African, Caucasian, Asian etc. timidapsin: |
Someone pls tell me my eyes saw what I just think I saw. What does FRSC need firearms for? Gun down a fleeing bus driver whose papers have expired, or for hunting grass-cutter when they can't get food on the highway? The stupidity of those who asked for this and those who gave the approval is uniquely not from this galaxy of ours. So Government want make FRSC begin to dey shoot people die any how as Police dey do? I beg, them swear for our government? We dey forbid to get sense from wetin don happen before? Odiegwu! |
greenermodels:How interesting. Use government money and resources to protect private busineses that pays no tax. When would a task force be set up to protect farmlands which is a source of livelihood to farmerss from willful trespassing and destruction by herdsmen, armed or unarmed. I am not surprised, afterall the Army already has a team up North that goes out to recover rustled cattle. Welcome to Naija where some people will call a cow 'uncle' becos they want to eat meat. |
I beg to disagree with folks who say America has more political years and experience than Nigeria. I don't see it a reason, rather I see it as an excuse. Consider this. Does it require Rocket-Science to cast votes in a venue that is befitting of humans, or reviewing the system to make it easier and more appealing? It's either crass ignorance or greed (what's in it for me syndrome), or a mix of both. If you stil think otherwise, ask yourself why are recruitment processes and systems of multi-nationals different and more humane than that of the civil service. Like writing recruitment tests in stadiums. It's just requires the will, planning and execution to have a decent voting centre. |
In fact the lack of openness for the Government, leaves mush to be presumed. We are yet to be told what the government gave or did, for those girls to be released to us. Did President Buhari exchange them for some Boko Haram commanders, pay them some cash, agree to a cease-fire with them, or promise them that when caught and tried they would not be get the death sentence. The list goes on and on. One thing we have to consider is how come no sooner had the girls been released, than our troops getting killed in their numbers, and bombings resuming? It is sad and painful that our troops are being killed, people and property are being bombed. laprince: |
