It's their usual strategy.
Mop up arms before the invasion and leave the villages. Then herdsmen invade and rape, destroy lives and property (farmlands, houses, food stock and seed stock).
Then the Army and Police takes over, mounting security, not to protect those survivors but to prevent any reprisal attack.
They spy on the villagers and when they suspect a reprisal, they raid and mop up arms and tell us they are robbers and kidnappers cache of arms.
The cycle goes on and on. Sad enough they have one human being that is called a governor in that state. Shame on him. I wonder how he sleeps at night.

Folks, have you ever wondered if two men worshiping in same church in Southern Kaduna state pay a visit to a mosque on Friday and gun down worshippers. These events would likely follow.
1. Christians and/or Southerners would be hunted down statewide and neighbouring states.
2. The attackers would be fished out within a week, moved to SCID in Kaduna and subsequently the IGP will request for their transfer to Abuja.
3. Their pastor will be arrested and one way or another squeeze out vicarious liability for having raised false christians who commited a hate crime ( we trust our police). Also, their wives and family members will be rounded up by the Police if the attackers happen to be at large.
4. Anyone who dares as much as praise the action of the two men will be tracked down by El' Rufai.
5. The Kaduna State Government will rebuild the mosque and pay compensation to the victims and deceased's family members.
6. The traditionally rulers in S. Kaduna will be hounded into prison without trail. ( it's possible the Army and Police did it in Eastern Nigeria).
7. Soldiers will be stationed at all the major mosques.

Thank you. It just amazes me that the prosecution could not prove that the accused was guilty on even a single charge.

It simply means two things:
1. The DSS prosection team in charge of the case is just dull and mediocre, which suggests there wasnt a reason to try them in the first place.
2. They accused likely commited a crime, but for political favouritism the DSS chose to, or was ordered from above to flunk its case.
Government agencies should avoid Media Trial and Sentencing, it doesn't help.

It's sad that such funds were expended on recurrent expenditure rather than capital expenditure which is a productive thing.
However, in the light of facts that the Osun State government was owing a treacherous backlog of salaries and pensions, it was only sensible to pay workers and pensioners. If not there may arisr a civil unrest that could tear down the state.

All of these technically speaking goes to show that the state has very poor financial management. It's highly recommended that governments spend more on capital expenditure rather than recurrent, because of the production ventures that arise from it. In fact, that is what Nigeria needs to do.

Please I need some clarification. Is it the duty of the EFCC to try cases of document forgery, I thought its the Police.

I disagree with you please. Fiscally speaking you may be correct. But the truth is, in Nigeria 85 percent of the nation's wealth circulates among 15 percent of its population who happen to be the top political class and elite, permit me to say the 'big men'.

In addition state policy formulation and directioning, and implementation is fraught with favouritism for the elite class, thus leaving the masses to their fate. Our infrastructure is in a mess and cannot support businesses and good living. When I say it's a mess it's really a MESS.

The CBN sells the dollars to the banks, it doesn't advance it to them as loans. So its simply buying and selling.
