tpiah: i'm not so sure caucasians are a minority because eastern europe is also caucasian.
and if you add most of the middle eastern regions eg iran (persia), etc, these are places considered caucasian and who, if need be, can boost "white" populations. Likewise much of the latin world technically isnt white, but they could still be considered caucasian.
yemenis, for example, look like western europeans for the most part. At least in most of the photos i've seen. You said, "not so sure caucasians are a minority because eastern europeans are also caucaians .no kidding Fact is,that still has them at the bottom of ethniticity population around the world, behind Asians and Latinos, and Africans. |

There are more than 6.5 billion people in the world today. Nearly 2/3 of them are Asians living on less than 1/3 of the land. Only about 5% of the world's people live in North America.

It pays to at least do some research, also last time I checked Iranians and Yeminis were not white or caucasian.I know Iranians personally and there are differences. |

U.S. Census Population projections 2008 2050 Non-Hispanic whites 66% 46% Hispanics (of any race) 15% 30% African Americans 14% 15% Asian Americans 5% 9%
A report in August 2008[40] from the U.S. Census Bureau projects that non-Hispanic whites will no longer make up the majority of the population by 2042, but will remain the largest race. This is a revision of earlier projections that this would occur in 2050. Today, non-Hispanic White Americans make up about 66% of the population. This percentage is expected to fall to 46% in 2050. The report foresees the Hispanic and Latino population rising from 15% today to 30% by 2050. Today, African Americans make up 14% of the population, in 2050 they are projected to comprise 15%. Asian Americans make up 5% of the population and are expected to make up 9% in 2050. The U.S. has 308 million people today, and is projected to reach 400 million by 2039 and 439 million in 2050.[17][41][42]
A report from the Pew Research Center in 2008 projects that by 2050, non-Hispanic Whites will make up 47% of the population, down from 67% projected in 2005.[43] Non-Hispanic whites made up 85% of the population in 1960.[44] It foresees the Hispanic population rising from 14% in 2005 to 29% by 2050.[45] The proportion of Asian Americans would almost double by 2050. Overall, the population of the U.S. was due to rise from 296 million in 2005 to 438 million, with 82% of the increase due to immigration.[46]
Of the nation's children in 2050, 62% are expected to be of a minority ethnicity, up from 44% today. |

aktunde: I just wonder why most people are taking this issue too serious. I am not supporting gay marriages. In fact, I hate gays! But I just choose not to dwell so much on this issue, because I know the Nigerian involved is much more interested in something than the marriage itself. The marriage would collapse eventually as soon as the Nigerian becomes a UK citizen. I do not believe is has been gay before. But he might have to start practicing it since he is getting married to a fellow man like him.
There is virtually nothing many Nigerians would not do, just to get the citizenship of some countries. I have read of a Nigerian who claimed to be gay in UK, and was granted asylum. He claimed he can't go back home because he is not wanted in his country because of his sexual orientation. Yeah, he got the asylum. I am very sure many Nigerian men would also volunteer to marry real chickens in US/UK for citizenship. I don't mean girls. I mean real HEN. As long as it wold guarantee their citizenship.
Let's watch out! The marriage would crash once the guys gets what he wants. I assume he grew up in Nigeria, and he should know that what he is trying to do is forbidden according to his Nigerian culture. I want to assume he is just taking the risk. If he must get married to a man like him; why a British citizen? I see the white man is his "MAGA" anyways. Unfortunately, the white man thinks they are are both in love. Mumu man! Why can't these radicals on here learn from such an intelligent post as yours, instead of acting like middle ages sorcerers and the taliban. |

i, Doc: You know, fat can mean different things to different people. I personally dislike skinny girls but don't want my woman to be too big. A woman's physical appearance is very important to a man. Forget the 'inner quality' B.S., We respond to what we SEE, period!!
If he isn't satisfied with how you look when he hasn't yet married you, then you can be sure things will go downhill after the wedding and even more so after the first couple of kids. Fidelity might become a major problem. When it comes to marriage it's ALWAYS a BAD idea to settle for less than ideal. Same goes for both of you.
However, It may help us make a fairer assessment of your man's sentiments if we had any idea how you really look. Here's how she said she looked like earlier,

OMO_EKO 1: THIS IS A CANDID ADVICE FOR YOU :
THIS YOUR GUY LOVES YOU AND THAT IS WHY HE IS NOT HIDING HIS FEELINGS FROM YOU, EVERY TODAY'S MEN WANTS PEOPLE TO SEE THEIR WIFE AS PREETY WIFE, HE KNOWS YOU ARE PREETY BUT HE WANTS YOU TO BE BETTER BECAUSE HE KNOWS YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND BE AS PERFECT AS HE WANTS YOU TO. HIS MISTAKE IS THAT HE FAILS TO HELP YOU WORK ON IT( NOT HIS FAULT COS MEN CANNOT BE THE SAME). I GUESS YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE TIME OR ENERGY TO DO EXERCISE ENDLESSLY THEN YOU SHOULD THINK OF ALTERNATIVE THERAPY, YOU ARE A NIGERIAN AND YOU SHOULD ACT LIKE ONE, GET YOURSELF A GOOD HERBAL BITTERS THAT WILL REDUCE YOU IN WEEKS AND I BET YOU WILL SURPRISED TO SEE YOURSELF MORE PREETY WITH A SLIMMER STATURE.
GO HELP YOURSELF AND DON'T SEND YOUR GUY PACKING FOR LOVING YOU !. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT ! Captain All caps, before you post next time, pls make use of the tiny button on your keyboard over <<<<<<<to the right that says caps lock.Posting in All caps is Rude, rule number one in Internet Ettiquette. Lets see here, Todays men want to have a pretty wife? True but you can't be a 100 naira bill looking for a thousand naira bill If he fails to help her lose weight, then its not his fault?? OOOps he does love her , right or he just wants someone to show off to friends and family! How do you know if she is presently working out or not? you are a Nigerian ,so act like one? Ignorance at its highest! I was unaware that there are ethnic diferences when it comes to issues of weight,oh well So pretty much you want to sell "herbal bitters", it would have made more sense if you told us that in the beginning of your post. Personally,I don't think he "loves" her,he is just showing his stripes as a man who will emotionally abuse her in the future, if he is so focused on her weight, workout with her. I think the crook has an agenda besides what we know here. |

aaidel: @ kabukabu u obviously are illiterate if you didnt understand my post then you should have asked for clarification instead of name calling the fact that you are obedient and submissive to your parents does that or did that make you to be inferior to them? i dont think so when i said they need to differentiate between equity and equality i never made reference to their intelligence you did so obviously deep down maybe thats how you feel about women and in case you didnt learn to read or just cant comprehend written words i clearly stated that i dont believe women are slaves to men but because in your sick mind thats what you have labelled women as thats the first sentence in your reply better go and get help for the thoughts and feelings you are trying to repress as for the women in my life i'm sure they are better off than those that are unfortunate enough to come across you and your hypocracy as for religion dude dont go there evry major religion in the world preaches subservience of women to men especially wives to husbands Looks like you've been eating so much pap that it has diluted your brains to the extent that you don't make any sense in your "retorts", let me do the thinking for you, okpe. Here is your original post aaidel: women need to learn the difference between equity and equality a man and woman can never be equals it wasnt meant to be that way by God Allah nature or whatever you believe in. in as much as i dont believe women are slaves to men but i also believe that women need to be submissive and obedient to their partners the same way a child is submissive to his parents Women "need". Need:something that is absolutely essential. Hence my reply no,women don't "need" to learn anything about their place or role in soceity. Men and women can never be equals? The most ludicrous comment I have ever heard. If women were to be compensated for the job that they do from birth to death, they are at least equal to men in terms of their contribution to soceity.Men like you are the ones building stone ceilings so women don't get equal pay, equal promotions and equal positions in soceity. Women should be as a child to their partners? Children get disciplined,Children have rules,Children have limits,Children don't talk back,Children answer to their Parents.None of these apply to a woman whom you respect in your life,Women are not property or beasts of burden, they are your equals and you should have mutual respect for each other. Google the word "mutual" and use it often in your daily life when you encouter women, it will go a long way in helping you out of your sadistic masochism |

chuqudy: Sometimes, I wonder where clothes originated. Most Nigerian leaders and religious leaders lay emphasis on covering the body. They call it our tradition. This is a pure lie. Without the white people, we all would have been unclothed. We were unclothed when the white people came and gave us clothes. We are just follow follow. If oyibo people wear cloth we wear cloth. If oyibo people remove cloth, we remove cloth. Clothing is only a hand work of oyibo. Our traditional or cultural dressing is to cover the pubic areas. So you Africans should shut up! The problem with many of us is that we do not mind our business. If you see what you do not like, why not remove your eyes. Mad people. May your grandchildren live long, and people quake at the roar of your posts . mikelangs: U see marriage is a very serious issue and a life time chain. The poster has to go Back to God and listen carefully whether this guy is really meant for her. God is not an author of confusion. If you did not hear from God and u think you can manage the situation it will be very devastating. It is better to careless walk into a marriage than consciously enter a marriage with the hope of going to manage the situation. He is complaining that you are very fat. When you finally get married by then you are more relaxed and comfortable the complain will grow better, then he will start admiring slim ladies and starts dating slim girls outside, then cheating comes in and he might make it look obvious trying to pass an info to you. Then you start thinking and giving yourself high blood pressure. Please tink thrice. It is better destroyed now than build and destroy, sign out Can you at least leave God out of this,Haven't you seen pictures of Mary ? What size of woman do you think he prefers? |

Never seen more degrading comment about women in my life,I hope you don't feel the same way about the women in your life. You are inferring that women are not smart enough to make the difference between Equity and Equality.you believe women have no endowments placed on them by your spiritual beings to be subservient to men.you believe that women should be to their partners, the same way that a child should conduct themselves to their parents.
you Sir are a Neanderthal, you should hurry up and wither away like the rest of your species.Let me take a wild guess that you are , Muslim.Religion which treats women as household pets on a leash.

what.lyf: After reading ALL d comments, i see the reason why MOST Nigerian men abroad travel miles down to Naija to get a wife, Jesus, someone has the audacity to call our tradition disgusting? kai, i no blame her, na her mama i blame, All these Nigerian girls wey dey tear mouth 4 computer say dem no go "submit" to their husband, should be prepared of spinsterhood/single parenthood/divorcee for a very very long time or they should instead settle down with an american/european man, but in this case, save enough money to afford a divorce lawyer. whoever among this rascals think an average naija guy will accept this "equality" crap should keep dreaming, To sum it up, if you wish to marry a naija guy (we are very scare so the competition is high) should be prepared to live with the culture, But whoever cannot live with the culture, should not bother marrying a naija guy, because if she does, the probability of d marriage to last is in its bearest minimum,
PS: it is either you be a married BIMBO ODUKOYA (of blessed memory) or remain a single Oprah Winfrey (abi wetin be her name) with respect to marriage. There is absoluetly no 2 ways about it. Point one)There is no "scarcity of Nigerian men" and if she can't find one ,there are plenty of White american,Black american,Latino and european men who will marry a nigerian girl in a heartbeat. Point Two)Obviously you have not been out of Egypt or wherever in a camels buttocks that you are living right now ,to know that nigerian women are among some of the most successful women in the world, they don't need your broke, nasty, sweaty booty scratcher donkey butt,to do anythingwomen are not going to be subservient to you, mallam so you might as well get comfortable with your livestockevery now and then so as to satisfy yourself, no self respecting strong, independent and educated woman would be caught within 10 miles of your filthy self
