No mind dem . . . Many of the men wey dey even marry dem already know story wey dey ground sef. A friend told me of a gal who went off to italy to LovePeddler. After 10 years in the biz, she is now a mother -- you see am today, you will never connect her to the story. ROFL

By the way, I don't see anyone asking if the men who patronize them do get married as well. This discriminatory mentality so many continue to exhibit is reason why I am in support of legalization; that is really it for me.
Yep,you're making perfect sense, grin
Too bad its flying over the heads of the simpletons in here.

ATLgal:
so you agree, that even though it's not legal it still happens? not legalizing it only affects and puts the poor at risk. if it was legal they could be mandated to take STD/HIV tests and they would also be subject to paying taxes.

It's all hypocrisy. most politicians use escorts. difference is they don't pick them off the streets.
Well said.
Legalising prostitution would,
1)Ensure they all get HIV/STD testing.
2)They would all be registered and have licenses, and pay tax.
3)Cut out pimps grin
4)Eliminate abuse of young underaged girls by pimps.

Having said that it would never pass in Nigeria,Nigerians are not culturally civilized enough to handle it.Perhaps in 50 years or more, even americans are stil not advanced enough to do it, the only place in the US were it is legal is in Nevada.

Ijogz K:
I just wonder why babes can't go out for a date or special occasion in a whole day without chewing gum, No matter how late they are. Some might forget to have a shower before going, some might forget to wear their bra or pant. But very few forgets the chewing gum. Why is this so. majority claim that they always wanna keep their breath fresh. But what bout we guyz, we don't chew gums every now and then, and our breath is still very much ok.

Now my question is this. Is it that the babes are just too lazy to brush/floss, or they are naturally dirty, Or is it just part of fashion cuz it makes them feel more sexy. Because a friend of mine once said that is babe looks sexier and hotter when she is chewing Gum. Weird i must say.

So why do you chew gum?? Ladies in the house
Seems like you are taking out a lot of "hookers". grin grin grin, oh and lots of guys chew gum also, huh.Epic failure thread.
How come Our Nigerian ladies are always nicer to white menhuh Many Nigeria Guys notice this toohuh You will see a white guy open a door for a Nigeria Girl and she will be with all smiles throughout the day and return unlimited calls!!! When a brother does it, she may just ignore or nod her chicken head and run through quickly as if his chivalry is just something to be expected. Imagine if they are in a normal store and a white guy just says something to them just to make a small talk, there will be a lot of smiles yet our Nigeria brother does it, they act as if he has some bad hidden agenda

Peace out
It goes back to the deep self hate that some of them have, the notion that white guys don't have hidden agendas is just laughable. grin
Relax and pay them no attention, those are the bottom feeders.

CrimeRe: ABSU Case: Was It A violation Or Not? by kabukabu50(m): 2:57am On Sep 27, 2011
nuzo:
Very wrong analysis my friend.
In fact the reverse seem to be the case.

I was chatting up a young lady from Uniport. . . . the young lady was just about the same age with the lady that was supposedly violated in the video. Guess what her response was when I advocated for life imprisonment for the rapists?

"No be she carry herself go there?"

To the best of my knowledge, Nigerian women have contributed much more than their male counterpart in making womanhood a "joke" in this country. angry
What are women doing about underage marriage. . . or is that not a more serious case of violation?
What are women doing about circumcision?
The list of how women have aided the menfolks to bastardize their self worth and turned them into objects of sex in Nigeria is staggering.
Men are in postion to change this dynamic but they won't, its men who marry off these child brides, its men who by far abuse their female maids, its men who discourage women from having a voice other than to say yes and nod in agreement.

Nigerian soceity is by nature extremely sexist and male driven, so you get a bunch of young women who have bought into the notion that they are not to have opinions or voices huh

You can't tell me that because she may have been hanging out in a spot where men frequent that she is "promiscuos", a woman is not a piece of meat, last time I checked.
To me, I don't think it was a case of violation. This is a university we are talking about, people do wild things which includes intimacy. Yes it was a case of 5 men and a girl but according to the report gotten from the video, she did not struggle but only tried to push one of the guys a couple of times which we know women do even with their lover. Perfectly normal.

Although there was also a point she said so reluctantly "kill me" there was not scream or what ever and she said just once within the space of 3 seconds and did not repeat it again. Which violation victim does that ?

Maybe it can be called intimate harassment because it was recorded and according to our moral standard of Nigeria, that was bad but I am not sure if it could be classified as violation.
^^^^^^He's got plenty of experience with cases like thses obviously, thats the norm in a lot of communities in the north, where women are treated like second class citizens and property, child brides and all that utter bullcrap. cool

If you folks lose an entire generation of upstanding women, at least you know whose fault it is, its men like him who are chavanistic and sexist to the core. grin

People like you,who are caught up in political correctness who refuse to stand up for womens rights everywhere are letting all women down. huh

Seriously, the video tape clearly incriniates these perpetrators in this crimehuh??

What else is there to determinehuh??Why all of a sudden, nigerian men have once again shown themselves to be hesitant to allow females justicehuh??

Once again it is clearly seen that is the case in nigeria, that crimes against women play second fiddle huhThe men will say two things

1)She was flirting around with the guys
or
2)She was dressed promiscously.

Im dead sick of this hypocrisy that has taken hold in nigerian culture, we are better than this by far, this is not Afghanistan or Pakistan.

Marriage is over-rated, do you. grin
If you like someone, date them if you like, if it works fine, if it doesn't work, ya move on, keep everything simple without drama. grin

Or else you will wake up one day after 10 years of marriage wondering, why the heck that I marry this fat slob who has bad breath, leaves his clothes everywhere, doesn't take you out anymore, stays out late with his "boys",doesn't hold me close after lovemaking sessions, and spend more time watching TV than me, kind of guy grin

, and you will discover that , you can't just leave  grin, Good luck.

RomanceRe: Do You Prefer "dating" Or "courting" by kabukabu50(m): 5:44pm On Sep 15, 2011
sexkillz:
The difference between dating and courting is >>>>>> NADA!. . . . . . There is no difference! Dating is regarded as a legitimate way for two people to become better acquainted. It's all in the motive behind dating! Either for FUN or for getting SERIOUS! Dating leads to courting! Courting is an ADVANCED form of Dating! As i am yet to see anyone, man or woman that approaches any opposite member and introduces him/herself with " Can i court you?" It's always Date! Date!! Date!!! Then after the first date and subsequent dates, courting ensues in some cases though!
And who the hell says dating leads to break up? Can you say the same for dating that leads to courting?
Is it all courting that eventually leads to marriage? Anyone?. . . Dating is an avenue to get to know someone better and determine if you could court the person with a view of marrying them! It's not by force to court whoever you dated neither is there any written law that you must marry whoever you courted! It's all in the motive of individual personalities! Some people might take a casual view of dating. It could be that they just enjoy each other's company, without any intention of marriage. Some might even view such a friend as little more than a trophy or an accessory to be seen with in public to boost their own self-esteem. Often, though, such shallow relationships are short-lived. They often lead to break ups! Of course, you cant expect marriage from all dating, right?
People who date for fun, come to view relationships as transitory—which in a sense prepares them for divorce rather than for marriage. Clearly, when you date someone, you’re affecting that person’s feelings 85% of the time. So be sure your intentions are Pure, though not everyone thinks alike. But it saves a lot of unnecessary discombobulation of emotions!
Some people just date, and it ends there! For others, it leads to something else! I think you should date someone when that person really means something to you and you feel your future together has potential. You care about a person, not just the idea of dating!

Sorry for the long post though! I also used to think Dating and courting were Different! But now i know Better!
See my post above, not everyone is dating with the idea of getting married, thats why there is casual dating and seious or committed dating. cool
Guys: do you date women or do you court them?
Women: do you prefer dating or courting?

what do you think the difference is? and why?

I personally think that nowadays, men don't court women anymore. It's all about dating in today's world. we have lost respect for the traditional way and this is why divorce rates are going UP. courting prepares you for marriage. dating prepares you for break-up tongue
You guys are taking this way too serious here, there's casual dating and serious/committed dating, I doubt courtship exists anymore anywhere in the world, period.
everyone dates, and if you are casually dating, that means both of you are going out, testing the waters, feeling each other out and either it ultimately leads to commited dating, or it fizzles out and both of you guys move on, simple.

Committed dating might lead to a more serious relationship or it may not, not everyone in the dating pool is on the prowl for marriage. Some are in it for just companionship grin

There are many women out there who are not looking for marriage, likewise men, grin and just because its called "dating" doesn't mean that they are desperate to hop into bed with you.

The US is already our biggest oil customer, so your story doesn't wash. The likes of Chevron are US companies as well.
The only thing that upsets the US is if there is a threat to its business with Nigeria. There is no part of the World where the US is lifting free oil.

If AFRICOM ever lays boots on Nigerian soil, it would be because we opened the door with our shabby approach to each others welfare and the ease with which we toy with the future and rights of our children and their childrens children.
