Turkish Airline o, Chicken airline e.t.c failing does not mean Nigerian carriers should do the same.
Nigeria has not emulated any of these countries good attributes, but we are quick to justify our many failings because it happens in other countries. .  that itself is the EPIC fail #hiss.

CollinsFBI has given you best advice. Canada has lots of options of getting work permit after studies, try googling it, lots of people I know are currently doing that. Best of luck.

But I hope you get the gist of what all of us are trying to say. The poster used the words "never come back" which means immigrate. Schooling in a country is the best way to immigrate and intergrate = Poster is doing nothing illegal wink

If na joke, stooopp that thing ! How could you say that, the only thing that Djimon has going for him is a good figure, brother's ugliness is no joke and he is height challenged to boot.
Kimora used to be an almost supermodel (I use the term loosely grin). She's tall, great skin and pretty. Now if only she'd lose that weight. . .

Bro, are you blind. He is going there to do an MSC (masters), so can't he get a job after that and not come back. What is illegal about that !!!

Nairaland . . all sorts.
TravelRe: Msc In Canada/dernmark by kadman(m): 10:34am On Oct 05, 2010
UKman72 reply is extremely uncalled. So how exactly do people go about immigration ? Isn't one of the ways through going to study in the country of choice. Where does the illegality come into place ?

@OP, no idea about Denmark, but your budget would be able to get you somewhere in Canada and their after study immigration looks more realistic.

I seriously hate when people do that. Their backside is abroad, but hate when people with FIRST HAND knowledge of problems complain. It's easy to be patriotic when your are on the other side of the fence. Put your money where your mouth is and move back to Nigeria since there is no problem

At OP, well you are kinda right we are running around in circles. Mostly because you don't wanna tell the truth (Nigerians and our ways - rolls eyes)

But it's all good, there's a thread here with a lot of info by someone living in Canada - Now if only i would bother finding it. . .

Yup, especially Glee. Madonna (already a huge superstar) has been enjoyed renewed success from this generations teenagers. Thanks to Glee.

But I knew almost all songs performed. With exception to these two, that have now become my faves:

Crush - Jennifer Paige
I Dreamed a Dream - Les Miserables, now I've even gone to see the show live.

dayo1401:
Please help look into my brother situation here,

He applied for visiting last year, while he was in his final year,,but refused
He appealed it and won, was able to get a letter from school stating he wud graduate june 2010

The appeal came in febuaury and he got his visa.

He travelled and came back in june, visa expired august 2010

Now the issue is this,
He has an application pending right now with bhc, a student visa appluication

The transcript he got from the school, stated that the date of award was april 2009

Could that be an issue for him?

He graduated from 07 /08 set, which finished in febuary 2010 because of the strike and stuffs
But their result was issued april 2010, stating that the certificate was awarded april 2009

My question is this, can that in anyway affect anything
Note, he never over stayed
No forged document.
But, there seems to be some discrepancies in the date,
It's already in their hands so there is nothing more you can do or any advice anyone can give.

I would have said if they come back with a refusal then reapply explaining the situation but, you guys were trying to play smart (I'm not saying you lied) by saying he was still a student in 10.
You could be lucky and they don't notice, or if they do. . You're in for a long thing BHC love cases like this.
FamilyRe: What Are Your Views On Retirement Care Homes / Old Peoples Homes? by kadman(m): 2:59pm On Sep 28, 2010
Epiphany:
Secondly, 'old peoples homes' are not necessarily always a dormitory with rooms where old people who are in wheelchairs or who use walking sticks are confined. Sometimes, old people's homes are blocks of flats or independent self contained units (within estate- like developments) that are assigned to elderly and self independent people. Some examples over here in the UK are 'retirement homes' that are specifically built for the elderly who have retired from active work. These people can take care of themselves and perform some of the basic household chores. The only addition here is that they have frequent visits from medical personnel or domestic staff who help them perform tasks that are too cumbersome or difficult for them to do themselves.

Certainly, we may see more of these in Nigeria someday
Very correct, estates like that are very popular in Florida USA, probably because of the good weather. I think that's a good idea for Nigeria especially as we have the land for it. A bit outside town away from the hustle and bustle . . . maybe ?

snowdrops:
i wont be surprised if most of the resisdents are destitutes and people with severe mental illness, including those accused of withcraft.
Actually that's not always true, my friend did his youth service in one in Yaba, he used to tell me how their loaded family showered the care workers with cash when they visited and only came once a month. I believed when I visited him at work and was told there are several others in Lagos.

While I agree that the concept is not the most popular in Nigeria, the poster who said "they will never work" is wrong.

Well she is carving her own niche and with her talent, you never know. She could be a house hold hold name.
I have played that first performance over ten times. Before her, I was blown away by the Zimbabwean girl but after her well well well
Only I've played it far more than 10 times. The voice, and the personal, she was sooo "hood". . Even for a black guy (pardon the stereotype) lol. And I agree that she's carving a solid niche.
