but its quite reasonable i think,if u look at it,a table of ten people going for 1million,thats like 100k per head, not bad, thing is i wudnt even go there if i was given the ticket on a platter of gold, not bout to subject myself to the toture of cringeing in embarassment all night, at the spectacle of aunty motola miming and dancing to her dry mundane songs
Ha Ha, chie ! Too funny. . . Everyone is on fire tonight lol

MJB must be the most unfashionable, crass female ever. I remember when I was young I used to watch her vids, then watch Toni Braxton's video, then think what the hell is wrong with MJB.

But she must be doing something right. . . Baitch's career is still going strong.

Omg plEeeeeeezzzzzeeeee u dis guy wake up man
Some people no dey gree wake up, na to dey argue blindly, when I mentioned the unavailability of some things, he never replied that but instead kept on going back to my post about my personal experience. It's a symptom with nairalanders.

And he mentioned that no one compared the 2 systems. Hmm, the thread is only 3 pages long, still short enough to read through before replying.

some people just like trouble.

what having a visa dashed to u has anything to do with anything is beyond me, your either in the west by birth, or immigration. now having a visa is used as insult. na wah o!!

many people have given their advice to the poster why the fighting is beyond me.

health care in nigeria and UK is not comparable - just cos there are a few nice hospitals in lagos and abuja does not equate to what the majority of 150milion people have access to. there are failings in the UK system (boy do some of us know it!!) but i would rather be treated here for an illness than nigeria. THAT IS MY PERSONAL CHOICE.

Poster - your mum might be nigerian but exposing her to the possibility of catching malaria after 40 years - chineke!!!!!!!
Lol, thank you very much. When i first saw the mad woman's post I didn't want to reply to avoid trouble, till I looked at her profile and saw her other posts, she is busy abusing people in every post she makes all over nairaland. She is looking for trouble and I am free all today to give it to her.
Some people think it's their family than own nairaland (because they have no life outside it), you must not post anything contrary to their opinion or it's trouble, they never hala.

Yes they dash me visa, I didn't pay embassy application for it. B.astard, she will tell me how her ugly hag a@@ got to where she is. Oloshi jati jati.

Yes you have lived in Nigeria but I still don't quite get your need to make baseless comparisons about your personal experiences in Nigeria and the West when this thread is about something else.
It's my personal experince with healthcare system, in both countries. .  what else would should I use to compare it. As there any statistics for Nigerian healthcare system available. And its baseless ? Because you say so. Dreamers crack me up good  grin
The thread is about healthcare she's receiving where she is, and what she can receive in Nigeria, which I threw in my 2 cents before you quoted me.

and do you live in nigeria?

keep spewing crap because you got a visa somewhere and see if what you say you ran from in nigeria cant also follow you to britain.

ignoramuses.
Idiot, I have lived in Nigeria, and can compare it to where I live now. It's you who knows what is following and chasing you.
As i said you're the one spewing crap. You don't have any point just want to type and give bad advice. You said the health systems are comparable, oya compare nah. Oloshi.

oh, its going undocumented, is it?

therefore you have your own info from reliable sources i suppose.

as per your chances of the system failing you where you are, keep spewing crap and watch your words come back to bite you in the behind.

the chances of the system failing you is slim?

ok.
I won't targue with an idiot who needs to add insults to prove points.
You're comparing the UK health system to Nigeria ? You're very stupid. On what basis is the can Nigeria's present system stand. How is Nigeria's health system up to par ? Where is your evidence. You're the one full of crap.
Worse part is, I'm sure you don't even live in Nigeria, which makes you a stupid hypocrite.

^^so a tragedy cant befall you where you are? huh

the system cant fail you right there in your location?
Yes a tradegy can befall anyone. But the system the chances of the system failing me is slim. I have seen that first hand.
Citing lone cases of it happening in UK or US would be just stupid, when the system failing people is happening en mass in Nigeria and going undocumented.

You are right, most are just dreamers (I have no love for them though), they would only smell the coffee when a tragedy befalls them and the system fails them horribly, they'll be singing another tune.

How do you know this? Is that not a very crazy generalisation. Do people not get cured of even life-threatening ailments in Nigeria ?( What ailment did you have by the way?)
Nevertheless this thread should not be twisted by disgruntled elements here into a commentary about the general state of health care delivery in the country when this particular woman has well-defined specialised health-care needs.
I am sure there are health-care practitioners on the ground in Nigeria who would be able to properly advise on this.
Ha ha, you people use the word "generalisation" too much and most times don't know how to use it. Most hospitals not being staffed properly, not having adequate equipments, the ones having adequate equipments. .  not having the right manpower to machine it, and the few having both not being accesible to most due to costs is enough generalisation. Thank you very much.
I already said this was not directed at the OP, but my view on the health system, which I believe I am allowed to express anytime I freaking want to.
FamilyRe: Would You Send Your Elderly Parent Back To Nigeria? by kadman(m): 3:00pm On Sep 16, 2010
Not at Post.

The healthcare system of Nigeria is poor and far below average, any foolish person who says otherwise most likely does not live in Nigeria and if actually they do, has not experienced what good healthcare system is like.
Nigeria healthcare system is a place where spending literally millions of naira won't help you. I'm only 25 years old but have had ailment where I've spent almost millions in Nigeria, but only a trip abroad using FREE health care system resolved.

I understand some of you want to be patriotic, but do you have to LIE and muddle up FACTS to be patriotic. And as for the ones living board and defending Nigeria's healthcare system, you're a hypocrite AND a liar. . . and that's just bad.

Bro, you need to find which is higher ranked in your course. While Uni of Nottingham is the higher ranking school overall (ranked at 14), it might not be the best for your course. Leeds is however the better city, which is also very important, and has a solid University.

BRAD Pitt has been cheating on Angelina Jolie with a much younger lady — according to a new report.

America’s Star magazine claims the hunky Hollywood actor — who raises six children with the skinny Salt star — has been bumping uglies with a sexy French model named Racine.

Racine reportedly moonlights as a flight attendant for a private jet company that caters to A-listers, including Brad.

The woman — who claims she has slept with at least three men that Angelina has also shared a bed with –  says that she likes to sleep with married or attached men because, “They get so excited when they cheat! It turns me on because I’m able to give them what they lack.”

Recent reports claimed Jolie no longer wants to have intimacy with Pitt.

“Angie gets very irritable at times and poor Brad’s often in the firing line,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“As everyone knows, they’ve had problems, but their sex life has always been good. Now I hear even that’s been affected. It’s not like Angie to lose interest in the sack!”

http://www.showbizspy.com/article/212363/brad-pitt-cheating-on-angelina-jolie-with-flight-attendant.html

This article is probably not true, but God please for once, let Ms Karma bite this woman on her flat backside, please God.

Thank you Sir, normally the scent of adultery alone is enough to wreck a celebrities career. I don't know how Jolie has gotten a free pass on it, Not once, but TWICE. I hope she tries to snatch the one that hooks her skinny throat.

I don't know why people don't understand that simple logic, you type just a few words in capital to show exclamation. I think it has to do with people's upbringing - bad primary schools and parents (no offence).

And @ Post, I really think you're lying, you're the same person who almost got shot by a Turkish man, who everyone in Greece left the bar for, because you were black / Nigerian. Nigga get real nah. . .
