Christianity EtcRe: Another Nigerian Pastor Involved In A Scam (Sunday Adelaja) by Kaestro(m): 12:25pm On Mar 24, 2009
@ osisi & JJYOU.
Perhaps the reason for less broadcast of the other religion's scandalous issues lies on the level of tolerance held by both beliefs.

PoliticsRe: Re-branding: N’assembly Seeks Source Of Funding by Kaestro(m): 5:35pm On Mar 19, 2009
@ Aderoy.
This shows how people will take day jobs helping us with our image. The ministry's website cannot even match this.
PoliticsRe: Re-branding: N’assembly Seeks Source Of Funding by Kaestro(m): 4:59pm On Mar 19, 2009
The idea was just raised over 6 weeks ago and she's ready to implement it? She should put this through the pipeline while other sectors including hers do their homework.Thats not rocket science is it?Once the prospective investor/onlookers/observers whom the re-branding is aimed at sees the real deal they are more receptive and can make their judgments. You can't force people to look at you different if as a guardian you're all dressed up and your offsprings are in rags.
PoliticsRe: Re-branding: N’assembly Seeks Source Of Funding by Kaestro(m): 10:03am On Mar 19, 2009
Of what use is re-branding if the actual product doesn't sell itself.Perhaps its the phrase that is confusing, the whole idea is brilliant if implemented with other sectors performing at least at average.
PoliticsRe: Re-branding: N’assembly Seeks Source Of Funding by Kaestro(m): 12:24am On Mar 19, 2009
samorijack:
Dora Akunyili is a fraud . Her so called achievements at NAFDAC are a product of propaganda (ask the parents who lost their babies to "my pickin" ) Yaradua is clueless, uninformed and a dismal failure. I can understand why his government needs re-branding. The question I want to ask is after re-branding what next? is this supposed to attract foreign investment? how does that put food on my table? They are all shameless failurers. Dora is nothing more than a power hungry bitch, she'll rot in hell!!!! smiley
Explicit content.

This president is over under-performing.No pattern, all distraction and random movement.Complete waste of oxygen being in that position.
PoliticsRe: Re-branding: N’assembly Seeks Source Of Funding by Kaestro(m): 8:26pm On Mar 18, 2009
There's absolutely no harm in re-branding the nation's image if it will be effective on the citizenry.Someone correct me if I'm wrong but we used to or still have the National Orientation Campaign Programme, if so why not take a cue from the results of this programme and further pursue the process of re-branding in-cooperating both or all programmes available to ensure the success. In spite of all the previous efforts of the government are we saying WE CANNOT SIMPLY REPAIR THE SALVAGED HEART OF NIGERIA? How obvious. As much as this measure is vital to the growth of the country it's a waste of time debating what should be when provisions was never made for such schemes.Did Mr president not think of this drawing up the 7-point agenda? They can't just kick start an unplanned programme and expect instant results? Why not come up with blueprints and proper plans to be executed as time passes.
Dora "the explorer" is a guaranteed quick-fix,damage control applying material. NIGERIA DOESN'T NEED FIRST AID, IT NEEDS SURGERY TO BE FOLLOWED BY CONTINUOUS TREATMENT.

CareerRe: Lagos Is Worst Place To Work! by Kaestro(m): 7:39pm On Mar 13, 2009
I once heard the story of two lebanese who got offered 2 job opportunities in the states and in Lagos,Nigeria. After a couple of years the one in the states became envious of the one who came to Lagos. Why? because he was just a commoner in the US but the one in LAgos was a high flyer.
As far as CNN is concerned they have proven their point a long time ago so it's stale news anyway.BTW they get paid to run their mouths so its no biggie. No point arguing.

Christianity EtcRe: Join Now!,size Doesnt Matter In Satanism by Kaestro(m): 8:12pm On Mar 05, 2009
Right!! So Satan is the way to go abi? Apart from doing whatever pleases you (which most do anyway), what's the point? Any gains or contribution to the society or your fellow humans? Going by your dodgy picture how did you know Satan had horns if you've never seen him/her/she/them, he-she/she-he? Did someone tell you that or did you read it? Just asking. BTW try going public while preaching your new found religion in complete regalia. That'd be awesome.
I give it to you though, your post sure attracts comments.

The moment an effective water tranportation system is re-introduced into Lagos it will be almost certain the traffic jam and congestion issues will start to decline. It will be an ultimate breakthrough, Ultimate with a punch in the air.

TravelRe: Let's Boycott The UK Visa For One Month by Kaestro(m): 2:24pm On Jan 15, 2009
@ poster perhaps you can start with a petition stating your grieviances and the shortcomings of the office, this could be hosted on a website and forwarded to people for signage. The amount of signatures you get will give you an idea of how many people are willing to boycott the process. Then you may take it from there.
Truth be told these visa offices take the mick though, but I see that as part of the fundamentals of human existence.Life is bias and unfair.A simple example is the children being murdered in Gaza right now. They didn't ask for it.So I'd suggest we just accept the things we can't change.Sad I know.
I love your courage and expression though.

@ sweetmum.
Are you for real? I'm sure the poster would have mentioned it if there was anything sort of forced used during the period before and during the act.Can you be forced to spend time with someone other than being kidnapped?
FamilyRe: Pls Help ,just Dont Know Wot To Do by Kaestro(m): 3:17pm On Jan 14, 2009
Bros, you no need advice. The situation of things speaks for itself. To have been disappointed in such manner so disrespectful, what you need is just to jog on.You can't force love to come your way.Trace your steps back to your mistakes and correct them.

BusinessRe: NSE Market Downturn: How Have You Been Affected? by Kaestro(m): 12:32pm On Jan 14, 2009
In my opinion gambling and investing are two parallel words that can be compared depending on the scenario.By definition gambling is staking funds or chances into an event in the hope of winning more money while understanding the risk of losing.People who gamble are well aware of their chances of loosing but still go ahead to stake perhaps due to their perception about the game/event or practice or sometimes do it just for the fun.
Investing on the other hand is participating by putting money or resources in a business or enterprise that offers the possiblity of profits, simply put -hoping to get a return or benefit from the outcome whilst at the same time understanding the risk.Relatively, investors usually undertake a research and get proper insight before proceeding to stake their resources on a business. As such one can unconvincingly say investing may be as good as gambling because both action requires you to study the terrain on which you intend to sow your seeds.
So a man that gambles without knowledge of the game does so at his risk=ignorant person that buys stocks without good info on companies.
The intense at which one looses now falls on one's intelligence and hunger (greed). Those that borrowed money to invest are the biggest fools in my books. Its like borrowing money to fund a stake on 9ja achieveing the 7-point agenda.Baban'la foul.

@Goodness07
Even first bank and other reputable companies loose as much as they gain so me think it's fundamental to experience both occurences at some point in one's life.No big deal.

FashionRe: Dudes;can You Rock Bags As An Accessory? by Kaestro(m): 1:35pm On Jan 13, 2009
I think it's necessary if you're a man that carries more than a wallet especially to work.It works well for your books, documents, brolly and sometimes the stuffs you pick up while out and about. The monostraps (messenger bags) are just ideal, the other types are just for fashion.
@ osisi. Would you allow you son to rock this?

Can someone explain to me the reason behind this steep decline? I find it incomprehensible that this much funds were lost in sectors where there hasn't been much complaints about profits.A case of over valuing stock prices I think.
Car TalkRe: New Helmet Rule In Lagos by Kaestro(m): 11:47am On Jan 09, 2009
I guess we saw this coming. What a ridicule specifically put in that section.

Car TalkRe: New Helmet Rule In Lagos by Kaestro(m): 10:54am On Jan 07, 2009
As much as safety is the main issue here, the bigger picture is these people understanding the rules of engaging in okada riding.Proper sensitization is needed.See how people can easily misconstrue the reason for which the law was made.

@ poster.
Since your business here was just selling a car,I wonder what your being defensive was all about.Totally uncalled for.It wasn't like you needed to prove your quality to anyone.Relax, it's only a public forum.Leave the arguments for boardroom and bedroom issues.
