RomanceRe: Why Do Women Ask For Favours During/After Sex by kandiikane(m): 11:12pm On Mar 13, 2015
Tallesty1:
Sex time is sex time sir, there is a million and one other times to ask for favours.

The reason she asked for favour is because she knew the man will grant it, in other words she is trading sex for favours.

Prostitution is the business or practice of engaging in sexual relations in exchange for payment or some other benefit.
I guess then we should welcome prostitution openly just like we welcome cooking nice food for hubby and then asking for favours. All part of favours, favour na favour.
RomanceRe: Man Breaks Up With Girlfriend Of 11 Years 24 Hours To His Wedding To Another by kandiikane(m): 11:00pm On Mar 13, 2015
He showed signs.....mean doing it last min but I am very certain he showed signs.....No man will ever leave a woman in such a manner without showing anything. The woman was probably looking past it since it would be a waste to actually focus on the signs after she had spent over a decade building something. She brushed it off and swept it under the carpet. This one going off on twitter should really sit that woman down and find out.

I repeat, there were signs and any woman that denies it is only lying to herself.

Did a r*etard hijack your account? You are either touting or supporting stup1dity lately. The thread is about two people getting married, not a beauty contest. The op didn't create a "am I handsome?" thread. Her opinion was not only juvenile, it was unnecessary and pointless. She doesn't have the looks either, both of you should have a stadium full of seats. SIT DOWN!

At that age, she is a lost cause. We can only hope she doesn't pass on her stup1d gene to her offsprings.
Why exactly are you quoting me? Abeg go lecture people that want to hear you rant some irrelevant rubbish, I am not interested. It seems these days you like jumping before looking.

Ireneony, just incase you have a "negative" opinion like that, think about the feelings it might hurt if the person did not ask for such opinion. Even though it is your opinion, just keep it inside and move on, it won't hurt anyone unless ofcourse you dey fight but still...

miss perfect, to hell with taste. If she dresses fine and start going out and other men start staring at her, the same husband will complain that she is cheating on him. What can you ever do to pls human beings? You are not a man so what do you know abt keeping a wife at home?
erm I get your point but I believe a woman knows more about keeping a wife at home than anyone else, she as the woman becomes a wife therefore, she is the only person inside her head that knows what exactly will keep her at home instead of roaming the streets. The man can only guess.... just saying

It's like asking what does she know about cramps.

Unless, of course you meant husband then only God can answer that question.

@op, can u try and take her out (surprise outing) and make her shop for nice wears? Or if u know her size, u could buy these things for her and in a loving way, whenever u guys want to go out together, ask that she puts on a particular dress(like name the colour, bla bla) . don't forget to tell her how good she looks in them.

U could set her up in a business and have her go for part time degree .
Lol, I honestly did not realise we typed the same thing. Didn't even see it. grin
FamilyRe: Help!!my Wife Is Driving Me Crazy by kandiikane(m): 2:20pm On Mar 12, 2015
Op, if you are all about the trends and such why don't you just personally take her out for hair, nails and clothes shopping. Buy her what you think you want to see her in. There are so many ways you could convince her without the need for hostility or giving her an ultimatum like someone suggested, "if you don't follow trend, I won't talk to you." The woman is not a child and should be treated like an adult. You can suggest to her to do part-time for her BSc and have a business if she can handle it but sometimes, some people are just good at certain things and you cannot force someone to do something they do not want to do. If she is business orientated, let her follow her dreams and if she fails, you can always say, "I told you so."

If I were you, I did buy her the stuff, get her hair done, makeup and always compliment her, telling her how it makes her look sexy etc etc. Better still you could constantly compliment her when she is in her iro and buba and go on on with a "but, it would be nice, this and that." Wean her off the village girl things slowly.

Personally, I don't get what is wrong with iro and buba, there are so many trendy styles you can suggest for her to sew them in if that is what she prefers to western style and fabric.

Anyways, what do I know.

I don't quite understand your question, but if you mean relocating finally to Nigeria from Canada after my studies, then I don't know yet more on the 'No' side. But I think I'd wanna stay back here.

I'm a Nigerian, I'm living, working, and studying legally here. I think I'd even be going home by December for Christmas. I can leave and return at will.

I hope that answers your question.

That's right. Nigeria is really growing in every part, and a lot of intergovernmental organizations are seeing potentials and also forecasting alotta good things to befall Nigeria very soon.

I have friends here who are hell bent on going back to Nigeria after graduation to delve into Nollywood, I wouldn't mind something like that too but I'd prefer the "Canada-based Nigerian actor" title, I'd feature anytime they come to Canada to shoot a video. Make I follow chop and flex Nollywood money small grin

FamilyRe: What Would You Do In This Scenario? by kandiikane(m):
Come out the car, pretend to be in pain if I am not, Call police, exchanged details( as he is drunk if i cannot get the details i need from him, i will get his licence plate number and any other little detail i can get by myself).

Take photos, recordings, witness numbers and addresses, leave the man for the police to handle when they get to scene without much confrontation. Possibly go back in my car, lock it, form pain, act scared, cry and wait for the police. After the police gets there and we are done, I will call my car service provider to come collect my car.

I will wait two days before going to hospital to complain of severe pain, if they ask why i did not come earlier, could say "i did not think it was any thing major as i just took some ibruprofen when I got home to help with the pain but it got quite bad last night and that is why i came in today." Get medical note and make a claim for the nonsense I was put through.

Depending on how many children were in the car, their age and how good they are at acting, they can get medical report for whiplash but not all of us, (we are trying to sell something here).

As my kids were unable to function properly, go to school or get in a car because they were scared that the big crazy man will come back to hurt mummy and them, I will look into the public order act on drunken behaviours to see how far. Look for possible offences that could arise from such scenarios and whether we fulfill the criteria((knowing most drunk drivers he will most likely threaten violence and most likely be all up in my face when he sees that I am a woman tongue), will also see whether he has money. A lot of researching, a lawyer and acting will be done for sure to get compensation and also have the ediot behind bars for a while on top of his DUI to think over what he has done or could have caused.

You will not ram into my car with my kids in it and then get out in a threatening manner to spew bacteria all over my face.

This is what I will do or try to do....

If I am in a loving relationship, there is no reason why I would cheat

Back to being on the same page...it is essential
I have two sexxual fantasies...I will share one
I would love to be hand and foot cuffed....I have dated people who wanted it too....but I never gave in to my craving.
Why?

It comes with a niggling question at the back of my head:
"what if after tying me up, he realises his hitherto unknown or unrealised fantasy or craving of choking someone to death"?
...and then he proceeds to snuff the living life outta my poor soul with a handy pillow, or worse, his hands? The same hands that tied me?

Lawd!
Will I ever! SMH

Point is, people may want to swing and still not do it...maybe cos one partner wants it so badly, and the other not so much, or same way, but with reservations...

FamilyRe: Mother Gives Birth To Son’s Baby by kandiikane(m): 10:44am On Mar 10, 2015
DukeNija:
Seriously? screw what the world thinks?
Madam where is your value or dont you have morals? Should we because we feel like having sex, mate with dogs or cows and say screw what the world thinks? Or a widower begging his daughter for sex and says screw what the world thinks? How can a mother born her own grandchild for christ sakes, there should be a limit or threshold for somethings in this life or else we'll be the same as animals. Heck, Animals dont birth their own "grandchildren". I am in shock at your response because i cant fathom how a woman as educated as yourself will say screw what the world thinks, let her carry her sons child. Making her the mother and grandmother of a baby and the foolish youngman the brother and father of that baby. FYI there is a natural order. Wow i dont know which is more unbelievable, the silly story or your response. Jeez
If I may just put mouth small....
This has nothing to do with being educated because if anything it is education that allowed the man to have a Child.
This is also very different from anyone having sex with anything. The UK laws doesn't really take surrogacy contracts seriously. You are not allowed to pay someone to carry your baby for you. Legally, if a woman does surrogacy for someone unless she signs off her parental rights, she is legally the baby's mother and what if that woman makes a deal to give someone the baby but after giving birth she refuses or after few years she says she wants the baby back? The law will give her that child so in this case, the mother is his best bet.

I believe if you want to speak about morality, it should be subjective as people's moral stance on this will differ. For example, If God forbid, I was unable to have a child or die before having one, my mother would be my best bet in carrying my child or carrying the eggs I froze before dying as I would like to have a child of my own to continue my own bloodline as a single child.

I don't see how people see this as bad on moral grounds when the grandmother is only the mother legally. She is not related to that child in any other way except through her son, if anything the grandmother's parental rights can be transferred.

Anyone seen the movie Love Regardless on irokotv?

Spoilers- Very beautiful movie of an old man dating a pretty young lady. The man didn't have to spend loads on her, just a chocolate bar and love notes, the girl just fell in love but to those hoping to date small girls when they are old, this old man was good looking oo and not these kpako hard faced looking men you see walking the streets of naija everyday. I don't doubt that the money influenced dabota's decision to marry this man but doesn't change the fact that the man also used his money to influence her emotions. Still, love can happen with a young lady if you maintain yourself very well, respect women and know how to be romantic even if you are earning average salary, not this nonsense I see being thrown round the forum.
FamilyRe: How Many Did You Survive? by kandiikane(m):
https://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/513eXccCgaL.jpg
My name was written on a pipe similar to this, very black and hard but the hole was smaller. My grandma kept it on top of her bedroom cupboard. Other things such as her hands, cables and hose pipes hidden behind sofas were used when she didn't have time to go get the black pipe from her room. The pipe was mainly used in the night when my body was relaxed and she, energised from dinner and rest. The worst part was the anticipation because all she would say was, "tiday na me en you" and I will go through the whole day crying, worrying, jumping anytime she moved when i was around her and asking neighbours to beg her for me.

Everyone goes in their various houses after magrib prayers when there was light (lived in a compound then) and I will stay outside scared to go in unless an uncle or older cousin comes to collect their dinner as I would normally beg them to beg my grandma for me. If no one came, I sometimes stayed out until very late at night, outside our door watching the TV through the blinds. My grandma nor send at all, she will tell me through the window whether I come in or not, that black pipe will have a taste of my body before dawn.

I always ended up having to go in sha as I rather have what she planned for breaking a glass or accidentally loosening the toilet handle than what I will get for sleeping out.

She use to wait until I had eaten and asleep like around 1 am or 2, where she would slowly remove the mosquito net to wake me up with the pipe. The neighbours will wake up to my screams, bang the walls and door begging her to stop but for where, the door is shut and the woman is having the time of her life. I got beaten so much that I learnt to block the pain, my body got numb and I was able to just sit and have her beat me without screaming or shedding a tear. Lol, frustrated her so much that one time she beat me three days in a row for small issues that didn't even make sense. For 12 years of my life I lived in soooooo much fear of my grandma, na my trip save me ohh or else I would have been a mess.

I will not use anything or allow anyone to beat my child for whatever reason. The only person that will punish them will be me in whatever way I see fit whether na grounding or monkey dance but to dey use cane, wire foot, naah. Don't want to have my child's skin spoilt and hardened abeg. Corporal punishment makes no difference, if it did our society would have been in a better place. Corporal punishment won't stop a child from accidentally breaking a plate or stop a child from forgetting that it is evening and they should stop playing and go have a bath.
