When a guy says he loves you the first time you "mistakenly bumped" into each other..... he's lying.

(NOT ALL THE GUYS) YOU CAN FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE AT FIRST BEFORE ANY OTHER THING FOLLOWS

For most guys, love takes time to grow and based on the girl in question.
(THANK GOD YOU'VE MENTIONED HERE "FOR MOST GUYS, NOT ALL"wink
You are talking about infactuation. When you see someone and you are mesmerised by them, nor be love at first sight.

Those butterflies are just you lusting over them.

I mean why would some girls go to bed with makeup? huh Some girls sef are too much. Don't you know wearing makeup for so long or sleeping with it can cause even more damage? :-/

Anyhoo,

If your man puts pictures of other women on his dp but never puts yours, the main reason is because he knows if he put your picture on he would have to put a lovely status underneath such as 'my sugar in my tea, the lice in my hair'. Now won't want the other booty calls to see it. cheesy

If a woman comments on his facebook say "baby" and he deletes it after and restrict comments on his wall. He is cheating. cheesy

If it is late at night and you are chilling in bed with your man and a woman calls. He is probably cheating.

If your man travels all the way to a country(knows noone there) but lies to you about it. Make sure you
pack your things before he lands.

If a BLACK man likes joking about being gQy and everything it involves. He is probably gQy and using you to hide it from the family. grin

If he makes you wear brown paperbag or a helmet (saying its roleplay).
Na wash! He doesn't find you attractive. cheesy

If he goes to the shops a lot which is about 5mins away but stays for over an hour or more. He is practicing his getaway for when you fall pregnant. grin

GboyegaD: Mine is very funny but today I have no regret doing what I am doing.
Growing up, I dreamt of being a lawyer during my primary school days however, this changed when I was told LAWYERS ARE LIARS
Aha, I thought I was the only one. The phrase "lawyers are liars" put me off completely as a kid to be one. Since law was what I wanted to do, I didn't have anything else. I put my hands in different subjects and I was like, "no, I will have to go back to my first choice."

They are not the same but they are both decisions many teens make.

Family › Re: Our Attitude Towards Teenage Pregnancy by kandiikane(m): 1:07pm On Jun 11, 2012
^ they have guidance but that doesn't stop them from making the decisions.

At 16 you are asked to choose the foundations of the career path you want to go for and at 18 you start the process.

You said it! 16year olds don't have a "jack clue" about what the future holds but they still make the decisions that will enable them to enter the future.

It might not be the right age for you but waiting until 21 to make these decisions is too long. Time wakes for no man.

Did she not go to school to have a career of her own? Was it a joint career with her husband?
This thing dey pain me, sef!

In this world we are in now, who said the marriage would last? No one knows.

I will have my own capital investments with my husband's knowledge whether e like am or not and also joint.

If God forbid, we have to divorce we won't have to fight excessively on which half each should get.
In fact, the joint investments will be for the children because we made them jointly.

This is like a cat and mouse game. "Because muslim have section we should have it too?" You are meant to be big men and women (except Goldie) and you are here crying over spilt milk.

The Islamic. Section is needed for many because Islam is a box and you have to stay within its 4 walls(or 5pillars if we want to go deep) with strict guidelines. There are many who don't have much access to islam and being a muslim so they come on here to learn.

Islam is a very different religion to christianity and much stricter. There are no leeways whereas in christianity you are allowed to do things you were denied previous. Basicallyy, anything you feel like.

We cannot do so, we follow it by the book from beginning to end we don't leave it to interpretation. As you can see the Qu'ran is in arabic and that is not our language and for us that don't have arabic schools where we are, we need the section. By having the section, we get help in our everyday lives. For those living in obodo oyinbo, if a christian wants help they have churches in every street corner but with mosques, you have like 1 in every 200 street corner. We hardly have access to mosques to learn.
Just recently I learnt that I should not be having my 9p interest on my savings so imagine if it was not for the section I would have continued living in yet another sin.
I hope you see where I am going with this? huh

So please growup! Only my unborn 6year old would whine and moan over spilt milk.

@lastpage, that link you posted is not the Islam I know and being brought up with.

My body still crawls from watching that. I guess the guy is a martyr, no?

stillwater: Yup, true love is everlasting. tongue Ehen I wanted to ask, if you say you've been dating your guy since you were a teenager, can I ask how old are you now?
Lol.

Well if it will put your heart to rest my passport age is 39 cheesy

Will you reveal your age? tongue

Btw, I want you to tell me how one can go about enjoying their teenage years without experimenting and experiences? cheesy

Actually, I personally believe there is a huge flaw in your thinking of how a teenager should be.
At the ages of 16 upwards is the time you make decisions that would affect your future outcome. So, if you are at that age and you are deciding major life decisions such as which career path to choose, why should that stop you from deciding which man you would want in your future? huh
You are already big enough to be making big decisions that really as you said your brain needs to grow to understand and you are yet to know whether they will even go as planned but you still make them. Why stop at just career?

Listen, this is all part of being a teenager, you don't just expect them to sit there and play hopscotch.
The body is changing so is the mind.
Love knows no age. It's through experience and growing with it that you can understand it.

Although this site was made and is own by a nigerian. There are a lot of non-nigerians in this forum.
Christianity Etc › Re: Christianity For Christians. by kandiikane(m): 4:44pm On Jun 10, 2012
So if they make a section for christianity, when the people of Paganism, Jainism, Zoroastrian, hinduism etc come will a section be made for them too?

If you want private discussions please your church has fellowships almost everyday. Go there.
Family › Re: Our Attitude Towards Teenage Pregnancy by kandiikane(m):
stillwater: Well that is you. But go check the meaning and characteristics of true love. If you say you love someone it better be everlasting, not when the going gets tough you run away.
True love, ni? Lmaooo, child's play. grin
Noone said run when the going gets tough wink

Sagamite, I understand where you are coming from but my point is, if there is one like me who said there aren't 10,000 more?

Research will always shine negativity to those born in single families.
Family › Re: Our Attitude Towards Teenage Pregnancy by kandiikane(m): 2:20pm On Jun 10, 2012
stillwater: Love is everlasting.
Stillwater is this not your comment? Did I misquote you? Maybe I should have written, "whoever told you that love is everlasting has been watching too many fairy tales." huh What has English being my first language got to do with anything? No, but it is the English people's first language. I am not arguing for single parent(see my first post) but the stereotype that is in place.

I gave 25 as an example because in general term it is the age you are expected to be married by. Younger even where we are from. wink
I am not saying you NEED to date as a teenager but if you do then you can say, "I learnt fom experience" and can then choose wisely. You cannot know the tricks of men or what is suitable for you if you are just starting out in the game. Common sense, na. undecided

Ok, then. I rather have had this 'cockroach love' that has lasted for years than having to go through men like toilet roll as many "matured" 20-30 somethings do these days. wink
Again, the love we are talking about is not everlasting. I think you need to sit with people that have been married for long and see the reason why they are still together. This love we are talking about is based on s£xual attraction and it does NOT last.

Well, I guess you need to come out of your hole and see teens who have had to growup fast and mature for many reasons. No offence wink
