My opinion: - The higher your finances, the greater your chances...logic: why will you leave a high paying job to start afresh in the US. - The higher your finances, you are able to take your family on vacation, if it is a family visa application. - Finances is a much stronger tie, I think. - If you are being sponsored by your organization and your finances are good, you may be given. - Finances here refers to income from personal business or salary from paid work. - The strength of any tie is negated by prior misrepresentation or credibility issues. - The US sha does not want liabilities. - The strength of the financial tie, is determined by the presence or absence of dependants. NothingDoMe: I have a question please. Are all ties on the same level? For example, can someone who earns 10m monthly be said to be on the same tie level as another who earns 1m?
MrA earns 500k and MrB earns 2m. Both without travel history. Isn't MrB's job tie still stronger than MrA's? Isn't this the reason why a lot of MrB's get the Visa even without travel history.
Also, can someone who earns 10m working for 9mobile be on the same tie level as someone working in DPR or MOBIL for the same 10m as monthly salary? |

1. While no one knows your chances. What is the purpose of applying with your mum? is it to improve your chances, if so, no need to do so. If you get the visa, it will be easy for her to get the visa too. But if you go along with her, it would be awkward for her to get the visa, and not you... I think going with your mum, will just increase scrutiny. 2. When last did you apply? hope its more than 9 months?3. You can just put "denied due to 241b." since you are not told the reason. tootush: Hello everyone. pls I need ur advice.I applied last november for visiting visa which was denied but d VO didnt say what the reason was, just said sorry unfortunately u r not eligible to ravel to d US this time u can try again anytime n handed over the blue papper.. So am reapplying again now but with my retired 67yr old mum on B2 medical as am now pregnant. On the d-160 form I was asked d reason for d first denial n i just put 'Not Eligible' as i wasnt fully informed wt d reason was. Does that sound good? And mum is retired n a widow not sure that sounds like she has got ties to her country. Pls what's our chances of getting the visa? Thanks n God bless |

1. I think it may have to do with previous applications (have you applied before?) 2. I think it might also be your finances. 3. I think it has to do with purpose of trip. 3. I think it might have to do with the current situation at the place you intend to travel i.e. is it snowing in the location etc. Like I said "I think" not "I know". I am just stating my opinion here. max1981: I don't understand what happened again!

I have had better and reasonable discussions with a 2 year old child than with you. Go worship at the feet of your idol. Don't forget to pay your tithe too, it will go along way in Oyedepo, I mean, your god giving his "divine approval" for the project. bezimo: When you have nothing reasonable and sensible to say please shut up, instead of making a caricature of yourself and advertising how lame your level of reasoning is. Go find your mate to talk with..I ain't got your time. smh. |

Whatever makes you feel better. I am sure Dangote is a man that respects Oyedepo, considering the fact that it was Oyedepo's mentor Idahosa that prayed for him and made him wealthy, maybe Dangote can help out...you know as they say, one good turn deserves another. bezimo: Get lost with your garbage opinion.. Prophet that went ahead to do a project, got stuck financially and is now claiming that he is waiting for God's approval...lwkmd! You know what? come and borrow money from Dangote, he was blessed by oyedepo's mentor - Idahosa, maybe he can help . bezimo: Whatever, its not your business whether My Prophet engages on the project or not. Just read what you just wrote. The omnipotent God who sends His word and it does not return to Him without accomplishing it, has decided to break with His character by asking Oyedepo - to pause on a project He had given him permission to embark on, maybe God is looking for counterpart funding to complete the project, God forbid. This is Oyedepo's albatross and he does not have the money to start. The richest church in the world, according to you by virtue of what they have in their bank accounts? I don't blame you materialist, when the only reason you became a Christian was the promise of wealth and health. bezimo: You can argue with yourself.. it doesn't change the fact that, God said the project should wait for now and Bishop simply obeyed. Your garbage opinion notwithstanding. Smh. You are funny.. You mean the arguably one of the richest churches in the world don't have funds for that project... Wait a minute. Let me take a deep breath. - When does a project start? from construction or from the plans? or from approval from the owners of the project? - A man did a plan for a building without "divine approval" - But the same man is saying that he is waiting for "divine approval" before construction can start. - So who gave him permission to draw up the plan? - Let make this simple for you. Julius Berger gets permission from government, even before they draw up a plan and the only reason they don't start construction, is because money hasn't been released. (permission-plans-permission-funding-execution) - Does Julius Berger draw up plans, even before getting government approval and then announce that they can't start construction without government approval?? Q.E.D: Living Faith does not have funds for the project. bezimo: Dont be ignorant and be ranting nonsense. The project was never started as in actual construction..we only saw a 3D design of the proposed construction project of the faith theatre as designed by covenant university students and in Bishop idea he wanted the project to start but Heaven has not given the go ahead so actual construction havent really started. How is that hard to understand. Smh. |

I think the doors of Nigeria should be opened, if you want to leave, leave and don't come back. Let's work with those who wish to remain. You think the paradise's your lazy backsides are running off to, started with everything good, some of them went through civil wars, genocides, madmen etc before arriving at their current state. Nigerians that think running away, will solve their problems, let me tell you, nothing you are experiencing now is unique to Nigeria! but if una wan commot, commot abeg, who knows maybe you guys are the one's holding this country back. This applies to the rich, middle-class and the poor. The jews learnt the lesson the harshest way, so harsh they ran back to their homeland that was a desert and turned it into a world-class haven for innovation. You will always be a guest, even if the owner of the house adopts you, there is no place like your own home, no one can chase you out of your own home. That said, no one knows your chances of getting a visa...documents are not usually requested but if they are, you will given an opportunity to bring them later. PEACE! |

1. But did He not go ahead before announcing it last year? 2. What go ahead is he looking for, after announcing that he will embark on the project? 3. Don't you seek for divine go ahead, before even announcing that you are embarking on a project? 4. Why embark on a project and then stop mid-way saying that you are waiting for go ahead from God? bezimo: Thats one thing about my father and prophet Bishop David Oyedepo. He dont embark on any project except he gets the go ahead from heaven. Thats one of the secrets to the success of the Winners chapel International.. doing things as commanded from above.

1. I think it maybe about your financial ability, why are you not travelling with family, do you make enough income from this business. 2. It could be a punitive measure, how did your brother-in-law and/or his wife enter the US? is your brother-in-law, a citizen? 3. Is this your first applying? 4. The business you are into, this is the season but I don't think this should make a difference, as you have workers working for you. 5. Maybe your business can't be easily verified e.g. a website, social media presence etc My opinion. valentino81: Good day Nlders, had my interview at Lagos embassy today. done biometrics but visa was denied by a male interviewer. If this is an attempt to make life hard for Christians going for Christmas, are there no Christians on the executive board of this union? 4. "QUOTING A TEXT OUT OF CONTEXT, GIVES RISE TO A PRETEXT." - RAVI ZACHARIAS
May I advise the OP to not just look at a text, outside of its context. If you read the whole chapter, you will get a more clearer picture of what its saying.
Let me take your point number 3. I will paraphrase the text; Paul says a preacher like a labourer is worthy of his wages (1 Corinthians 9:9-14) which you quoted, but he, Paul, forsakes all those rights so as not to hinder the gospel (1 Corinthians 9:15-26).
Paul knew what was truly important, not material blessings even though it was his right but the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I dare to say, not one of your flamboyant pastors will forsake material blessings, if that was the condition for the salvation of souls because they treat Jesus as a means to an end, not an end in himself. Have a good day. |
