Money needs to be made. Magento which is one of the best CMS out there is not free to use. Shopify also requires a monthly subscription. If its all open source, they wont be able to make a kobo na.

Magento has two versions/edition. One is open source, free. The other, is the enterprise edition, Magento Commerce which is not free but very cheap and affordable for large companies.


Shopify is very cheap even for small companies that generate income in naira.

The Laravel that I love offers so many paid services, but it is the free service that'll prompt you to especially as a developer to pay.

I was following a tutorial by a developer who was building a WordPress plugin with OOP, the guy practically complained throughout the video.

They have already but that particular version of wordpress is not open source. It's used at big tech companies like Facebook, Microsoft, Spotify etc. Checkout wordpress VIP.

I believe the issue you are having is that you have different tables for student and pin, which is actually a very good design.

What you need is to join the students table to the pins table and check if a student has an existing record in the pins table, if it exists you do nothing or you update, if it doesn't you create a new record.

This would bring us primary and foreign keys.

Your students table should have a primary key which should auto increment, now this primary key would be stored in the pins table. That means, whenever you create a student record a new pin record is created for the new student automatically.

I hope it solves your problem.

A variable is enough for all the alert messages.

I also believe switch statement will do better than that long if else elseif logic.

As for the date logic, you can use date('Y-m-d') without assigning to a variable.

The $expire_date variable could be written properly as:

$expire_date = date('Y-m-d', strtotime('next year'));

This is the truth. Introversion is actually bad. People say they love it and all; maybe because they can't do anything about or they keep failing at doing something about it hence the acceptance and funny love for it.

Introversion comes with low self esteem, shyness, social anxiety and all forms of abnormal traits. There is also this fear of missing out and overthinking.

I'm not saying extroversion is the answer but being an ambivert is way better than being an introvert.

My own advice would be you go straight into solidity, you can do blockchain with other languages but keep to solidity. It's like the official blockchain language.
