This is Bullshit! Ask yourself what the fluoride does. It inhibits an enzyme (PFK, I guess) in the bacteria glycolytic cycle. I guess. If I brush and rinse off most of these bacteria, why should I care about leaving excess fluoride in my mouth Kwanu? |

Thecreatorx: University of ibadan uses 7 point cgpa scale meaning first class is 85% (6.0/7.0) other universities use 5 cgpa scale meaning 90% (4.5) is first class, in conclusion; a 4.25 cgpa in other schools is equivalent to first class in UI. I don't know why other schools no wan use 7.0, UI students get numerous first class cuz it's 85% not 90%. So comot UI from this list. This is eye opening! THIS IS TO ALL UI STUDENTS AND GRADUATES READING THIS! Your 2nd class is not equal to or greater than other schools first class. Saying this is evident that you didn't pass through a university. |

A father decided to spoil his daughters other people are now shouting on his matter?
This is a wake up call to all Nigerian parents.
Many of them could have made their wards lives better, but the moment their children have one N50, 000 job they'll seat back and expect the child to start taking care of them.
How about the unnecessary pressure to marry and succeed at all cost forcing many into internet fraud and early marriage?
Kudos to Otedola and other Nigerian parents taking proper care of their children. |

Family › Re: Why Does The Society Frown Against Left Handed People? by Karleb(m): 6:05pm On Sep 16, 2020 |
Lefty500: Well, the stigma is so really, and people look at me like I'm an alien. My parents, especially my mum tried to change me to right hand, because I was the only kid in the whole street that's left handed, and when I didn't give elders things with my right hand, the insults would bounce back to my mum, like she didn't train me well. (Yoruba elders know how to insult you plus your ancestors).
My savoir was my primary school teacher that stood up for me, she encouraged and wooed my parents to let me be. I later found out that the woman liked my handwriting, I was the only one that used to get excellent on writing lesson.
The problem is that we see the world in binary, (black or white, up or down, good or bad, left or right), that has created baseless taboo, and we have turned to believe and it's now part of our life. When you are looking for something, first thing some people will ask you is if you put the thing in a place with your left hand.
Even most inventors stigmise us. The keyboard has the number pad on the right hand. Scissors works well for right handed. The guitar. The automatic car pedals.
I'm proud to be a lefty. It's not stigmatizm. Think from a producer's point of view. I've not met up to 100 lefties in my life and I've met a whole lot of people. ...and I'm sure we have keyboard, musical instruments, car and the likes specifically made for left handed people. If I had a product to sell, it'll be targeted towards the righties. I can only think of the lefties after making excess gain. |

ladychioma: My brother it's not only in Yoruba land that they frown at it, Igbo land is even the worse. A good number of them verbally abused my mum and me. But my husband likes it. I can't count the number of times my Igbo customer said "sorry for the left". It's a Nigerian thing. |

Google how to run your first Java program on it or you could try to do it instinctively.
...and follow a tutorial.
I said an IDE because I find it easy to run code on it. |

CenturyCoder: To the guy who started this learning process stuff, I got something to tell you. The way I learn can never be the same you learn. I am in ss2 and I have been programming since 2015, but I got serious about it in 2017.I program in Python, PHP and I have little experience in dart and java and I too know JavaScript but not to an expert level. I learnt mainly by videos on YouTube, following channels like Tech with Tim, Traversy Media, Clever programmer and even Dev Ed. I love learning by pratical and visual than reading but I have a friend who prefer to read PDFs than watch videos but still he is a great programmer and that was how he learnt. So pls stop this shit of the best way to learn If you are in S S S2 like you claimed then you stop cursing. That being said, there is nothing like best way to learn. I have video archives. Ebook archives. I read documentations. I read blog posts and tutorials. It's important to find a method you like and stick to it. |
