Angel55555:You mean the Da Vinci Code nonsense? Dan Brown is a confused man. Being a New York best Seller doesn't mean reality validates your claims. The man believes there's a supreme being, but decided to come up with fictitious puzzles to confuse weak minds the more. I know him. Yeah, so what's about him? |
Maynman:That's a fat lie. How did King Solomon's name got to Africa, that the Queen of Sheba knew him? Was it by the sword? How did the Ethiopian Eunoch in Africa got to know about Jesus and was eager to know more, until Philip was sent to him? Crusaders abi? History has it that Jesus' fame went ahead of him to places that he didn't even reach while on earth. Who be Crusaders? Was John Welsley a Crusader? Was Fanny Crosby or Katherine Kulman a Crusader? Someone ask prayed on his knees for God to give him Scotland or else he dies. A radical move that saw massive conversion in Scotland. Or you mean Reinhard Bonnke of blessed memory was a crusader too. Or Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory, or Benson Idahosa of blessed memory, you mean they were also Crusaders? Do you know how many millions of people converted to Christians round the world because of these men's expressions? The numbers are still counting, irrespective of terrorists attack on churches and you're telling me Christianity no for spread if not for Crusaders. This convo is becoming stale. |
Mccullum:No. Put it this way; NATO expansion and Putin's "silence" is the major factor destabilizing the peace of Europe after Zelensky decided to attack quiet, peace loving and harmless Russia on Russian soil. You're doing well. |
Drenimarcus:Na so. Shifting goal post to the nearest junction. Putards. You guys can never disappoint. |
Kai, Umanah.. Old thieves. |
snookcg:That's why I asked someone here earlier on if he believes in science. They don't follow science closely. Recent discoveries, especially in astrophysics, have altered many of these crazy assertions that so called atheist are using as the best cards in their pack. |
Maynman:Sure. I mentioned that earlier. The horse riders with the cross emblem. |
Science disputed Biblical accounts initially, not anymore after most recent discoveries. If you read the Bible like a story book, you'll judge it like one. Nehemiah and Daniel were contemporaries but if you look at the chapter arrangement you'll think they are 10 generations apart. Between Genesis Chapter 1 vs 1 and vs 2 are millions of years apart. This agrees with science. Read on the gap theory. Atheist have their will. But I can't be too dumb to claim what I don't understand doesn't exist. Everyone thought Dalton was right about atomic structures, cos his assertion appealed to basic human logic. A greater scientist, Einstein checked in later and discovered a concept about the electron cloud. A fact that defied logic. That an electron can be present in more than one point in an atom at a time. Does that make sense? Of course no. Bats (not Tinubu), fly by the aid of reflected sound in frequencies that our ears can't detect. Do I then dispute that because I can't hear it? Stupid. You only have five senses to detect and respond to the vast features and elements of creation.., and you want to boldly summarise what reality is by your limited perceptions? Stupid. Absolutely stupid. If you're an atheist and you believe in your doctor, then you're a clown. |
Spicyneedle:Yeah, thats when you read the Bible down side up. |
Angel55555:Its still the same thing I stated. RC is more political than religious, birthed from the papacy of the Vatican, the centre of Pagan worship of the goddess of the sun..,They churned Christianity with pagan worship into a blend of doctrine as well as a political order that was spread by the military might of Rome. Christianity already had its momentum way before then without violence even up till the time of Emperor Nero till today. Colonization was a political move rather than religious. You're right. |
LienwaltAbel:Good findings. Forceful expansion wasn't and isn't a Scriptural doctrine for Christians unlike islam . Colonialism wasn't driven by the quest to spread religion. Religious influence just like cultural influence, was a by product colonization. Its different from the case of what fell Constantinople and the Usman Dan Fodio quest to spread a religion. |
wirinet:Sure, by the Roman Catholic political/military influence. The same Crusaders I talked about. If you read deep about the RC you'll know why they're sometimes referred to as an occult group. They feign Christianity, but are into pagan worship, but that's another story for another day. When I say Christianity wasn't spread by the sword I'm simply talking about her ingrained doctrine of gaining followers and how it started. Don't let it mix with the idea of how Islam spread. Don't put them in a sentence. |
beejaay:I'll call this a poem. Flare of literature. Dig deep into nuclear physics or ask a nuclear physicist what he thinks. Those guys now agree with the idea of a higher intelligence behind a complex design as the universe |
LienwaltAbel:Christianity didn't spread by violence bro. At least Jesus didn't spread it with the Sword unlike Muhammed did for Islam. I know you're talking about the Crusaders. That was a political move by Rome to spread the occult Catholic influence. Same Rome that persecuted the disciples of Jesus Christ. The Colonial Masters came with religion and technology intertwined and they were willfully accepted by the Africans as superior to what they had already, in so much that the influence still lingers after the Colonizers had left. Christianity was spread with civilization through education by the early missionaries. Its a different ball game from Islam that has jihad enshrined in the Quran. E no relate at all. Buddhist are more in numbers compared to the Jews, yes they are. But so long as Christianity or Islam thrives, Jerusalem would ever be significant to both. That's why the Jews will always be relevant irrespective of their numbers. |
Maynman:You can't even spell Christian. Smh Was just a waste of time. All these juveniles |
Maynman:I believe this conversation was for information exchange which should reflect simplicity and clarity in every sense. There are lots of people reading this post who would appreciate simplified terms than some historical "jargons". You just stated what I stated. The last line, I don't think it's necessary. Keep It Short & Simple (K.I.S.S) |
Maynman:You're getting me wrong. Before most atheists became what they are, they would ve probably searched and tried different medium , researched on various ideologies to arrive at a conclusion, logical to them, that there isn't or aren't superior beings as origins or influencers of life. I am a theist. An arrogant one, not an agnostic ( what I used to be as a Church goer before I did my researches to arrive at what I am and have right now) . And why I chose Yahweh? That's because HE'S like the Sun that's a pivotal Truth. Irrespective of your location or what you believe, you can see it reflect in your sky, whether obscured or vivid. I researched on different religious scripts, on Bhuddism, Taoism and the Religions tied to Abrahamic beliefs. Only three of these all turned out to be most dominating in the world's history. Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Only these three have compatibility with science discoveries and are quite ahead of it. Don't ask me how I narrowed it down to one. Religious space is the last place I'll wanna pick an argument. |
sundaygray:I think most atheist get it all muddled up when they start tryna trace their way back through a hole and a bubble... I got to this point too, but it always ended up in my looking stupid, until I asked the question, "What is the purpose of life?" That was when lines began falling in places and the puzzles began fitting, creating a vivid picture of the dimensional realities that hold existence together. I never hated the idea of a Creator, I only had an open mind to learn |
Wilgrea7:What's your view about Science? |
chypotenti:Which of these will give you enough time to do other things for yourself? If a 30k job is close to your home and is flexible enough to give your time for yourself its a better to have, than a 50k job in Lekki that takes your breath. Lastly, you need a side hustle. Calculate how much at least you'll need to kick start your side hustle and save towards it on the long run. |
NOETHNICITY:While Muslims attack churches and burn their neighbours for blasphemy. You guys are doing well. Go and search for the book "Seeking Allah, finding Jesus". Read it with an open mind. ********** If you were born into any religion without you, at some point in your life, giving it a litmus test, then you're as good as the guy who goes to school because his friends are doing same. For those of you who flaunt the " atheist " tag, I wonder why you ever believed your source; your mum, gave birth to you. How come you trust the physiological design and biological processes that brought you to being? How come you deem it valid and yet believe the existence of the SOURCE of all these sources is a hoax? How come you trust science and doubt the existence of a higher intelligence that outlines the laws and fundamentals on which scientific discoveries are based? Ever asked yourselves why religion, history and science are like a tree that looks deviated at the top but intetersects and aligns uniformly down the trunk? Because they all tend to point to the Origin; The SOURCE. The SOURCE you don't believe exists. Whatever you believe, is your opinion here and definitely, your destination in the future. |
Righthussle:You just dey run your mouth anyhow because e sure for you say nobody go accuse you of blasphemy, come hang tire for your neck, abi. Continue. Na like this Nebuchadnezzar start chop grass with swag. |
DispatcherLagos:Chai. Lmao |
doggedfighter:In that case that's the family of future bouncers |
Chijeep:That's someone from the village who lost signal and missed coordinates. |
enonche85:Lol |
Mrtaye:Na their way na. |
God1000:Cleanest, just like Lagos. Well I believe Tinubu and his agberos can give us something decent like this in Nigeria come 2023. Talking from experience, these guys are very neat and have a strong taste for a hygienic environment. Imagine the pictures below with yellow, degenerating buses loitered all over the place for tourist attraction. This is the kind of Nigeria we want, where one doesn't have to think or reason for himself. Our godfathers can help us reason and make decisions for us. Its not easy. Using the brain could be very tasking in this era, so we'll leave all thinking to be done by them. And even if the OBIdient people laugh us to scorn and call us barbarians, we know deep within us that we're just Nigerians with a confused mind. Awa lokan. Hehehehe |
Mrtaye:Ignore that guy. His hatred for America will make any meaningful conversation useless |
Lordbinsmar:Why are Russia's neighbour avoiding her while America's neighbour are aligning themselves with America? Answer this question make Jehovah wey create Ogun save you from chronic stupidity. |
Righteousness2:Prophet with a biased mind. Run a check man, the spirit of a lying tongue could be upon you. Prophecy is supposed to be for reproof and edification. Not bitterness and destruction. |
Mumusaphire:No mind am. |
