Endy10:
I don't think its dumb. Its actually genius. Time itself is infinite, which means the past, present and future are currently happening at the same time. Bran being a warg, was able to tap into that blackhole, that connects every aspect of time together. Therefore actions in anytime (past, present, future) affect themselves. Bran warging into Hodor in the present while having a connection with the past created a time warp where the actions of the present affect the past, hence 'the past hodor' feeling the effects. According to the bloodraven, the ink of the past is set and dry, because of this, the action of the present affecting the past is so intense that it literally broke 'past' Hodor's mind. Now due to the past being changed, it carries this effect to the future, which is the present(Hodor holding the door).

I felt a headache after typing this
Eyaa... cheesy

Have you watched The 12 Monkeys?

Me neither. I think it was some sort of time loop paradox.
Yes, it is indeed a time paradox, but Bran started the events that led to the loop when he went "green-seeing" unsupervised. Well, Hodor has successfully held the door (as intended), so the loop has now closed on itself.

What exactly happened there with Hodor? I'm quite confused. How did his decision to hold the door in the present affect him in the past?
It's well explained here:

Story of Brans life.

Climbs where he ain't supposed to.
Wargs where he ain't supposed to.
There better be a shit good story line from this, seeing as he managed to get all of his closest allies, bar Meera, killed.

Lady Stoneheart returns. Jon Snow 2.0 was hard enough for the show to pull off; I don't see Catelyn making a comeback.

I saw it and well, it was underwhelming. You know, its a bit like having a limo parked at home but liking to take okada rides with the rest of the public and then all of a sudden all your money is gone, you sold off all your property and okada becomes your only means of transport. grin grin

This was the spoiler-free thread... until Seun decided to change the title this season. I wouldn't presume to say I know why he did so, but I have a healthy guess or two.

Even Missandei is already quoting a 'wise man'.
I tell you! smiley

However, i share luxanne's sentiments on that last scene.... I mean, first of all, I've seen that trick before. Second, how does a room-full of Dothraki warrior-lords get set on fire by a "witch" and not one of them thinks to make a suicidal dash across the fire and get his hands around her neck? The way they were just scrambling around like scared helpless chickens was mildly irritating abeg...whatever happened to the warrior's instinct of taking down the enemy even as he dies??

And lastly - well, can't really blame anyone but myself for this one - as soon as Dany put her hands on that first brazier, i immediately guessed what would happen. So everything after that was just sorta anticlimactic... or well, everything except that look on Daario's face. smiley

What nonsense are you guys yapping about Ramsay?
He did what was necessary in a world like westeros were brutality is the wielding stick, no law!
And you all forget it was the same Walder Frey who murdered Robb, Catelyn and his pregnant wife!
Isn't it the same Roose who watched while this happen and betrayed the Stark's?
When Aegon used his dragon, balerion, to burn a whole castle and its inhabitants alive to the ground, he was called 'conqueror'. What he did was short of a psychopath?

So far Ramsay has done nothing to anyone that did not have it coming.
I suppose Sansa had it coming, too. I'm also sure fat Walda and her pink little baby "had it coming" because they were equally culpable for her father's deeds at the Red Wedding, abi..

See, without mixing in sentiments, I already knew that the new born-babe would have to die; that's the way to cement one's claim in Westeros. Killing the mother too, well, that's just typical of a Bolton. But as for trying to justify his psychotic cruelty as "..never done nothing to anyone that didn't have it coming", naa that's soo false.

Yeah... I finally watched Episode 2 "Home" a few hours ago, and it seems to have brought Chritsmas in June. Here's to hoping subsequent episodes do the same.

Meanwhile...

- Did Tommen actually borrow a line from the Doctor Strange trailer? "Teach me." smiley That scene was heart-warming sha.

- The High Sparrow certainly has BALLS.

- Where the heck is Littlefinger?? Cersei ought to at least wonder at his whereabouts after all his promises to her last season...

- The redemption of Theon... smiley I guess this episode's title was based on his lines.

- I suppose the debate is on again: is he Tyrion Lannister or Tyrion Targaryen? smiley

- No... no. I shall not speak that bas.tard.s name. I shall not. That poor, fat, not-very-smart Walda just kept on asking for "Lord Bolton". Sigh.

- Wun-Wun the giant no just get joy! grin

- Ghost killed it sha; I wonder how many takes it took to get his "perk up" just right.. smiley

Thing is roose bolton is just as evil. See how he calmly watched the starks butchered at the red wedding.
No.

Roose is... well, Roose was a cold-hearted, calculating sociopath, he weighed risk against reward; Ramsay, on the other hand, is a rabid psychopath, he doesn't really understand "consequences", and that IMO is a clear evidence of insanity.

Nice analysis. But I still doubth Sasuke will rule, he may be powerful but he has no sense of humour. That guy is to proud
Tsunade lacked humour too. As did the Nidaime Hokage. I agree that Sasukes biggest personal flaw is his pride, but that's not necessarily a bad trait in a kage. The past Raikage was the epitome of arrogance and a destructive temper, and he did just fine.

Mmmmm. It's a tough call, but let's see...

If Naruto lives long before passing on, the odds are Shikamaru and Sasuke would be too old or dead as well - Kakashi certainly will be long gone - which leaves Konohamaru as the best option... unless Sarada grows fast and goes full-blown genius like her dad, in which case council would have to choose between her and her sensei.

If Naruto departs early though, then they'd have to pull a "Tsunade" on Sasuke. A kage needs wisdom, insight and intelligence, but the power to protect and defend is most critical; this makes Sasuke the prime option. Shikamaru knows this, and Kakashi will likely decline on this ground if asked. No need to do a "Hiruzen" when there's an even better option available. wink

you should pay attention. I'm not talking about the three girls that were locked up with Bronn. in fact, there were no character for them in the movie.
When the king didn't take action base on Elleria's agenda she called him spineless, and he told her that it's because of the children he fathered with her that he will overlook her outburst...

Mybe you were eating indomie when thay scene came and went. you should pay attention next time.
