Still missing her, Blaze?

hi peeps - blaze, sino, scofield, V, tubabie, epie (rhymes, eh? ) - where's raven?

Still somewhere off the shores of the NigerDelta - crazy offshore rig, driving me nuts. Shoulda been a 5-day Rig Move job - come in day1, rig up equipment and test-run day2, move rig to new location day3, rig down and finish job day4, home-sweet-home day5. Simple!

But uh-uhh, first, the chopper comes late and it already 6pm by the time we get to the rig, next day everthing goes smooth, we rig up our gizmos - and then along comes the storm - craziest i've experienced. Takes another 2days to pull up and rig down. Ok, so we move off to new location - swinging and bumbling along like some space-out drunk on skid-row. Finally we get to the platform, and there we are stuck. We've been at this platform for 3 days running now, the rig is still yet to position - my team is doing the positioning, by the way, bully for us. Yesterday it was the sea is too rough, today its the tide is too high, i wonder whats gonna be tomorrow, prolly the positioning equipment is gonna Bleep up.

Well, at least they've gotten the wireless internet conn running properly, using my machine at least.

Damn, i'll be happy when all this is over.
