Miyachi? Send him back to Feynoord (I'm biased though cos I'm yet to see how he's better than Theo at that age). If he can get a loan move to championship side, good enough.
The guy gets lost in games because he's always far out wide. He needs to learn to come in and join the midfield fray when he's not seeing much of the ball.

The problem we have is the defensive part of the team, get a DM, CB + LB.
BIG problem if you ask me and I hope say Wenger dey hear you.

Bro, who and which company will pay you $250k in Nigeria? Please be real
Pls ask my dear friend buzugee, that classified $80k as tashere. I just used the figures to drive home my point about weighing your options.

buzugee:
opportunities for what ? to earn $80,000 a year ?  that may be opportunity for an economic migrant like you but to me it isnt. its slavery. i consider opportunity a job that pays a minimum of $250,000 a year. now thats opportunity  grin you earn your tashere $80,000. tax man takes like a third of that, and then you pay all ya bills and you find yaself in a vicious cycle of bills and work till you end up in the grave. abeg me i dont need that kinda opportunity.

I said before that you can make it anywhere on earth if you are a smart person. It musn't be in America. Its up to you to know your worth and weigh your options. If you are earning $250k in naija and you're being offered $100k as net pay in America, then ure better off sitting home than coming over. If i was earning $100k in naija and I have the opportunity of earning $250k (NET) here or in Ukraine, then its a better option for me. simple as ABC

buzugee:
bros, exactly what opportunities are in the USA sef ? lets even break it down. opportunities for what ? as far as i am concerned, unless you are in the medical field, there are no opportunities in america for you. you know how many unemployed are there in america ? you know how many nigerians are struggling in america ? you guys talk as if there is money out on the street to be had when you get to america. come on now.
Unemployed Americans are the ones that are too lazy to go to school (most of them are by the way). If you come here with the normal naija spirit for academic hustle and a good head on ur shoulders then the opportunities are limitless.
Politics › Re: 5 Reasons Why America Is Worse Than Nigeria by KayDee4: 8:49am On Jul 23, 2011
Your first point, "debt" is an option and it depends on how financially responsible you want to live your life. Not everyone in America is a debtor and not everyone is a reckless user of credit cards.

Talking about stress, I used to work in Nigeria and at a time I forgot the colour of my house because i was never home in broad day light, I usually leave when its dark in the morning, return late @ night and even work on weekends. @ d end of the month, the salary is the same fixed amount, no extra pay for overtime. The stress is a lot more than here in America. Here, when u stress urself by working longer hours, it means u'll be getting more money than normal.

Coming to America as a professional from Nigeria means nothing to them. If you want to retain your professional value, you have to go through their educational system someway, somehow to prove yourself otherwise; you'll end up with one of those hustler menial jobs.

The cultural diffusion stuff is as optional as taking up a credit card, while some people endeavour to teach their kids the Nigerian language and cultures, others just choose to flush it down the sink and "akatalize" fully. it’s up to you to choose which way you wanna go.

If you're a very smart person you can make it anywhere on God's green earth, some people are better off in naija than they would be if they went anywhere else so I guess it’s different strokes for different folks.

But the bottom line is that naija is not a very conducive place to live. Nothing works and corruption thrives in the country, justice system is screwed up, security is nothing to write home about, infrastructure is non-existent and a whole bunch of problems enough to make a sane ni99a go crazy. All these deficiencies fixed, and 9ja becomes paradise.

How is America worse than Nigeria?

How is having constant power supply worse than PHCN ?

How is having good roads worse than driving in potholes ?

How is having a high level of security worse than living in fear of robbers (and policemen alike) all the time ?
etc etc etc.

The cost of living in Nigeria, in some aspect, is cheaper than in America and vice-versa. So hard to save money in yankee. Bills Bills Bills angry sad

With all said, North, South, East or West, Home is Best.

I love naija and hope it gets better.

The USA female team just pulled an "Arsenal" stunt, conceding 2 arsenal-like goals (defensive mixup and a set-piece), twice throwing away the lead and eventually loosing the final.

edoyad:
dude you're missing the point. It's not about winning or losing a preseason, it's the fact that the first goal we concede in the new season is from a set piece. Don't you understand ? A fricking SET PIECE for heaven's sake. If it was a penalty or Tiote screamer i'd be more comfortable believe me.
I feel ur drift man; conceding from set pieces was Arsenals' Achilles heel last season and it is worrisome that the problem has not been taken care of. I still wonder what Wenger meant when he said the defense is not weak.
In the midst of all the transfer speculations and rumors, my main concern has been that AW will end up not signing any experienced central defenders and then we'll find ourselves in the same pot of soup as last season.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread (for Arsenal Fans) by KayDee4: 6:54pm On Jul 13, 2011
Yeah, Dennilson looked very promising when he jumped onto the stage, I remember watching him closely in the 6-3 demolition of liverpool some years ago and I really thought he was good prospect, he was also one of those players that preferred to shoot from long range whenever he had the chance to, but thats all gone now and I dont know how it went wrong for him. His confidence has been greatly undermined and he cant seem to recover from it.

Im worried about Chamakh, he didnt play with as much confidence as some of the younger players around him.

Arsene shld better sign 1 or 2 CBs cos there was a great difference between the TV5-Koiscienly 1st-half partnership (oozing with confidence) and the Djourou-Squills 2nd-half partnership (Jittery as always). A simple injury, and the defence is a basket.

The new boy Jenkinson (who was busy all through) and Rio were good on the night and Vela just needs to work on his finishes cos he showed 100% confidence and composure in front of goal (unlike B52).

Overall, it was a great performance. That MalaysiaXI team no be walk-over o.

Heard Gervinho's work permit is pending, that's probably why he hasn't been unveiled.

Barca's arrogance is starting to get on  my nerves, first they say FAB4 has depreciated in value, now they are prepared to wait till the end of the transfer window to force arsenal to sell cheaper than d asking price; then they wanna ask for more money for already completed transfers of Toral and Bellerin.  If I was Wenger, I'd say, "Sorry Cesc but Barca can't afford you, will you like to go to Madrid, they're offering 50mil ?" No; Then you're going nowhere.

Cmon u Catalans , Pay up or Shut d f** k up.

Yeah, in this era, money appears to be the root of success.

4llerbuntu:
afterall other poor clubs havent spent like mancity and managed a trophy win.
I suppose ure referring to Birmingham winning the Carling cup, we all know what became of them in the end. Trophy pass trophy and an FA or Carling cup will only erase the "trophyless" tag that has been associated with arsenal but in their minds, the top players are looking beyond that now, only the EPL or UCL can totally redeem the situation.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread (for Arsenal Fans) by KayDee4: 6:47pm On Jul 04, 2011
mystikal:
Clichy's switch to MCFC didn't take too long as we see, but look for how long we've been 'closing in on' Gervinho, Cahill, Samba and Alvarez
Yeah, thats because Wenger claims to be playing transfer poker with ''I wonder who''. The transfer targets are openly declaring their dreams to play for arsenal but some of the clubs say they have not been approached by arsenal.

Things are falling apart @ arsenal, players and fans are grumbling, and i see a disaster ahead. I think its time for arsenal to make a U-turn on their financial policies and splash the cash. If money is what makes other teams stronger, then we are WEAK and cannot compete with them effectively.
