A boring 1.1 game that may have an Inter player copping a red which will justify Mou's already planned negative football.

I will rather wait for the battle of wits at Nou Camp.

My all time greatest rock band?Bon Jovi, followed closely by Cold play.Love Evanescence,Nickelback,Avril Lavingne and Oasis too.

Can Rod Stewart and Bryan Adams be considered as rock singers?Loved that song they did alongside Sting.

I am a ROCK fan but not a die hard and i prefer when they go melodious.

Tkb paddie mi

Of course i think it is premature all the "he is better than maradona et al" chants that has inundated the media about Messi of late but ol boy, that dude is GOOD.Plus,he's being preet consistent, going about his job with level-headedness and staying out of negative media vibes.

Ronaldihno destroyed himself and i think apart from the flashes(like he did against Man U @ the San Siro) he will display occassionally to remind us all of what he was,he will never be that consistent again.

so your point is?

lemme help, Messi has done more than what Dinho did?
is that it?

joke. . . i dont think ive seen a footballer that can do magic on the field like Dinho
Dinho is suffering from attitudinal probs which is a constant with brasilians
if he keeps his head like Messi, he'll probably be the greatest footballer that lived cos what he did in 2 seasons with Barca, only a sorcerer can do that
Hehehehehehehe,so who's fault is it that he decided to become a party animal?Awon aye abi? grin
So what did he do in 2 seasons that Messi is yet to do?Yeah let me guess,he flashes his teeth at every given opportunity grin
Until MESSI replicates this his performance in another club outside Barca, it will be difficult to state if he is as magical as it appears. The Barca style and collection of players could just be what differentiates Messi from CR7 for now. Messi has not been able to carry the argentine team as expected, hence some question mark on his performance.

CR7 on the other hand, did it in MAN U and is doing well presently for REAL
. He is also a bigger influence on the portuguese team than what Messi is for the argentine team. For now I am still kool with CR7.
Ronaldihno did MAGIC with Barca and couldn't replicate same with AC means he useless abi?
CR7 doing presently well in Real?Any exact achievement?

It's not even about their improvement or lack of it . . . it's about their level.
Man Utd and Chelsea are in a level that makes you question if there's still a Big Four.

To think they're having a bad season. . . and this is Arsenal's second best season since 2005.
When last did we stay in the EPL race this long?? It's distant past.
I am not even referring to the BIG 2 that has that certain je ne sais quoi about them,i am talking about those that are supposed to be outside the big 4(the Citys and Spurs of this world).
Everyone and his dog knows Man City will continue with their spending and will be a threat next season and that is putting it mildly.Their present players will have better time gelling too.Tottenham will spend and the core of their players are young too.How old is Dawson,Huddlestone,Defoe,Bale et al?

It is why i said Dudu is too focused on Arsenal and not looking at the bigger picture.Yes it is not all gloom and doom but to look at the strings that needs to be pulled to take us to the next level seems to run foul of Wenger's doctrine.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (In Arsenal We Trust) by kaypumpin2(m): 10:36pm On Apr 17, 2010
Dudu is an incorrigible optimist.I can not fault his passion but he seems to be so solely focused on AFC he is somewhat blind to the improvement of other teams in the EPL.

What this team needs are WINNERS.Not players whose heads drop at every mountaneous challenge. You don't buy learn winning mentaity. You earn it.

Look at the Man U team player for player and tell me what world class players are there or what edge they have agaisnt us man for man.But a player like Gibson who have seen older players win it will bay for blood to have the same feeling.Who amongst the current players in Arsenal can induct the rest with such passion?

You know a winner when you see one. That's why the energy Sol puts into celebrating a goal is more than the total energy output of Almunia for the entire season. grin tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (In Arsenal We Trust) by kaypumpin2(m): 10:20pm On Apr 17, 2010
Plus if Man City qualifies for UCL,we will be in for a great battle next season.Apparently Chelsea and Man U will re-enforce,but we are the only club who places our mechanism on "same mode" and expects to get a different result.

For what it's worth,Wenger is not a great tactician, just a coach who used to know the right blend of players and if he is not getting that right at the moment, there is a big problem.

@Kay-pumping.

Don't buy that rubbish the ESPN commentators were saying.
We were playing away and there is nothing wrong in defending deep.
I counted the number of times Drogba lost possession in the first 45mins . . I stopped counting at 15 times.

I counted the number of time Anelka lost possession in the 2nd half . . 3 times.
There is a clear difference.

If we want to kick the ball high and hope Drogba scores, then Drog is your man.
If you want to pass the ball on the ground and walk your way in, you have to drop Drogba.

Simple. The next time you see him play, count the number of times he concedes possession from a bad touch or bad pass.
It's not about what the commentators said,it was obvious Chelsea players were not even closing down the Spuds players.Go back and watch the match and be on the look out the number of 50-50 balls the Lily-whites won.

Chelsea did not even string any good passes together today, never mind striking a rhythm together to the point Drogba became an impediment.
You guys were out-played and out-thought.

I am not a fan of Drogba AT ALL so i do not even want to go there.

If this league continue for another 15 more weeks,Pompey will make up ground against the Top 3 teams i am sure. What is it with the unpredictability of each week and the twists and turns?

@Nateev,

Even though i agree with your point as per Drogba viz Chelsea's distorted flow when he's playing, today's shambolic display wasn't down to that sole reason.Right from the commencement of the match,Chelsea players were defendingso deep as if they were 3 goals up.The invitation of defending deep and Chelsea players backing off were they were supposed to be close-marking was too tantalizing to resist for a team fighting for top 4 spot.

This is the craziest season i have witnessed in a long while.Really is. . . .

Just curious, what did Silvestre do?And did i just read a post taking a shot at Almunia too?

Hahaa, some peeps just like scape goats come what may.ONLY Sol and later RVP had a clue on what should be done, the rest of the lads were just in lala land.

At least i can watch the remaining matches without much tension of if we will or not catch up with the eventual winner.

Why do i feel what he said is,follow me blindly like Stevie Wonder on my twitter page undecided Makes more sense this way i think.

I am yet to listen extremely well to the album thus can't give a detailed review.A quick one though. . .

This album proved that Mode has really improved on his delivery and breathe control.Rap Messiah and My life are my favourite track and his delivery on those tracks is top draw.
While anyone who prefers Mode's old self may see a deviation they are not cool with(in terms of choice of beat and themes),i feel good videos for is this what you want and we dey vex will go a long way in helping in the sales of this album.

BTW,what was it about this album that Rugged said was all about him on FB?

he will not get into southampton's 1st team that's how useless he is.
Thank God impatient geezers like you do not have the carte blanche over any team.It would have been disastrous.
How many season has Vela had to prove himself? How many attacker of his age who crossed over from another league became instant hit in the EPL?
Diaby,Eboue,Bendtner,Song,Flamini were all slated and tagged useless before a good run of game made us know otherwise.
Merida and Vela are two young and good players that needs time to blossom in the EPL.Whether we have the time and chance to wait is another matter entirely.

The same Vela that was fan favourite during last year's CC games cos of his eye catching goals is now deemed talent-less  undecided God have mercy.
