@Kaypumpin

I didn't refer to Arshavin being your best player based on today's performance. Over the season he has been your best player.

Some of you will say Fab is . . but I don't agree. I think Arshavin has the slight edge over Fab and has been even more consistent.
Can you answer to this please?

debosky:
Cesc has 9 goals and almost a dozen assists - he is the best player at the club both in terms of performance and consistency.

Can you bring out any evidence to show that Arshavin has been more consistent than Cesc or that he is a better player this season?
I will assume you have not been watching our matches hence that unguarded statement.Arshavin does even come no where near our top 3 performers for this season so far.The same Arshavin that the journos are already indicating his mind is no longer with us? undecided

Cesc,Persie and Song will readily comes to mind when we talk consistency. And arguably Vermaleen. And as per your statement about him being the highest paid thus automatically performing better than the rest, have you ever wondered why Ade's performance plummeted with rise in pay?

Is it not ironic that Arsenal's best player is their most expensive player. . ?
Wenger must be mad thinking he's doing it the right way.
Do you just type cos you like the sound of your own keyboard?
So Arshavin scored today and automatically becomes our best player cos he's expensive. undecided

Where did you put the performance of Cesc and even Vermaleen  undecided

Nice win and Liverpool did not even threaten our goal area per se.And what do we have to say about St.English players.Roovey made Phlep green with envy yesterday and Gerrard was just all over the turf today. How many times did he even spend running or standing?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Liverpool Vs Arsenal [1 - 2] On Sunday 13th Dec by kaypumpin2(m): 6:07pm On Dec 13, 2009
I still wonder why Walcott had to start though but that said, this is some lethargic display by the lads whilst Liverpool is playing like they just gained their mojo.

Masch has totally neutralized everything we got planned through the middle and as usual,it is Arsenal with his one way of playing or no other. embarassed

I already said yesterday the game might be down to the GKs and Al. . . angry

45 mins left. . i have a feeling there is still a Gerrard and Torres goal. lipsrsealed

It is gooder than good.

eldee:
Come on . . . 9ice has never been bad on a collabo.
He has a 100% clean sweep . . . but when it's his songs, he hits and misses.
I listened to some songs on this album . . . he was not at 9ice' level.
Plus he now sounds hoarse. The album still has some good songs though.I am still listening to it and will pass my verdict on the album later.

9ice did a song with Asa?? WOW!!!
I need to listen to that.
You really need to.I need to really sit down and review this year's duet before i can tag it the best duet for the year.Inspite of not wanting to judge impulsively,i am sure it's amongst the top 5.

Bout 9ice . . . I think 9ice sounds better in collabos.
Most of his hits did not even have anyone on it El.That said, think it will be pretty difficult for him to ever match the iconic level of the Gongo Aso album but then, this last effort is far from the wack status dudes are according it.

I predict Jaywon will run things for sometime to come

The dude is crisp. . . .
I am yet to hear any of Jaywon's song that makes me go. . . WOW and press rewind. But for 'em Kennis' top notch marketing skills, dude will just be one of em artiste.

When 9ice's sophomore album came out, believe the reception was worse than this until the songs sank in.

Tradition has a lot of deep songs that will GROW on us with time. The song he did with Asa in which he talked about the country's malaise is DEEPER than DEEP.

Are you Wenger in disguise? cheesy Champions and any contender for that tag must be ready to play on ANY ground.EOD.

The problem with us this season has not been getting outplayed nor dominated by the so called big teams, but the fact that in one moment of madness, we always seem to bottle it.Be it Diaby's OG,Al's sudden rush of blood against Man U,Vermaleen's OG et al.

I wish the lads can prove me wrong just on this day.

Dudu made this statement:
Ed, I think we usually do well against Pool in the league and provided we don't have too many injuries we should be fine. Breaking news that Essien is out for 3 - 4 weeks, now we will see how good Chelsea's squad depth really is (if only this had happened b4 we met them). Chelsea is never really the same without Essien or Drogba.
And this was Nateev's reaction to it:

You so wish bad for Chelsea. . . Is it not so cool to know the only way can beat Chelsea to it is to pray for injuries, ACN and dip in form. You lot are a bunch of nut-heads who only thrive on others' dismay.

You are not good enough to beat the best.

I won't wish for any of your players to be out when you come to SB. . . with everyone complete on your team we ship you out this time with a goal enough for every family.

Chelsea will roll on without Essien mate.
And guess who is wishing other's team well after his team's dismal performance at home against a depleted Everton team:

nateevs:
To be honest I do see the reason to bench them. . I don't.
Only because we don't have any on better. .

We will sort it out.
We need to start to pray for a dip in form of ManU now. .
There must be a God somewhere  grin cheesy

To what's at hand. . . when was the last we capitalized on other's mishap please?

Can one of the kind gunners in the house answer these questions for me:

(1.) When is Clichy due to return?

(2.) Traore picked up an injury. Is it serious? If so, how long is he expected to be out.

(3.) How long is Eduardo out for?

I am planning my fantasy team.
1)As at Nov 23rd,the news on him was;Gael is expected to return to fitness within the next three weeks according to Arsène Wenger. "Clichy is not too far, I think two to three weeks," said the manager.

2 and 3)This is an excerpt from yesterday's post match conference:"We had Eboue with a muscular problem, Rosicky with a groin problem, Traore a hamstring problem and Gallas a hamstring problem. We are hopeful that Eboue, Traore and Gallas are not too serious but Tomas Rosicky is out for a while. Eduardo has a thigh problem, he had to stop training yesterday. It is a little recurrence, the medical staff tell me he could be available next week."

I hope this helps. wink

How could he have been taking free-kick in a team that had CR7 or even Giggs?

The way I see it, it is the 3rd, 4th and 5th placed teams that should be worried.
And what team fits that bill?No position is locked down now so every team's got to be on their toes.

@Emp,
I like Uncle Carlo. . .
Me I give my support to whoever is in charge besides, he has managed to kick some butts already (arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United).

A manager will always make mistakes as well as the players. I think he (Uncle Carlo) messed up with the formation today. That's all.

Tevez scoring a freekick was something unimaginable grin. Funny enough after that he started taking their set pieces.
Who knows maybe that is Sparkys new WOMD. grin
You should be very afraid. Very afraid. . .
Then you didn't watch in his last season at Westham. He scored scorchers from set-pieces then.

City will always e fired up against the ig teams,i wouldn't e surprised if they play draw next week against some shitty team again.
And it's shocked they have only lost once(and dubiously too grin) this season.

Don't get carried away mate. Citeh were at home. . and y'all see it as a fantastic result because you still don't believe Citeh have come of age.
You play Liverpool next week and there Villa on the 27th. You may well be 11 points behind next week again.

Like I have maintained season long, every match will surely tell a new story . . It won't until after the ACN that we know were we all stand.
What part of my statement is a pointer to getting carried away?

It is easy to point to L'pool and Aston Villa as difficult games, but i make bold to say any team with any stint of slackness will get beaten anywhere this season.

if by March, the first 3 teams have just a difference of 3-9 points between, then maybe we will have to wait till the last round of matches to know the ACTUAL winner of the EPL.

And as per City, nothing has changed about them, they will get fired up when against the big teams,it is the points they amass or lose while playing the so called small teams that will be their undoing.
