Well even if Sol wanted to come back still lies on AW thinking his worth it or not,i reckon Flamini wouldn't mind returning is not like he commands 1st team in Milan, considering world cup is around the corner it wld be an opportunity the plonker wld welcome with open arms.
Like Domenech cares grin

So Wenger goes against his policy of not re-signing players that left us  undecided Yet another weird signing but one i wouldn't totally condemn. With the possibility of Djorou's comeback before the end of the season,i do not see the reason why we should sign a long term solution for the CB position. At least it shows Wenger is taking note compared to his seeming blindness to our inadequacies.

And really,i see Bartley and Nodvert taking a step higher next season. It is not as bad as it seems really.

debosky:
Well as far as I'm concerned the only difference is that one hasn't shown any interest in returning. Sol technically stabbed Arsene in the back too - he was released from his contract only on the condition that he didn't sign for a premiership club and went to Europe.

Does Flamini want to come back? That is the prime question.
It must have flew over your head Pompey is an European "nation". grin Sol knows  tongue

2 "needless"  angry points dropped at home and i wonder why we really had to play in such a harsh condition  undecided

The whole team was just out of sort and looks disjointed, wondered if our rhythm hasn't been broken by the enforced rest caused by the extreme weather .

Kudos to Everton for the way they chased everything for 90mins+(they seem the better team for most part) but it seems we were not just up for it from the get go.

It's now so obvious what Song brings to the midfield;defensive discpline, stability and the way he breaks the opponents attack is unrivalled.how i wish it is the cameroonian team pulling outta the ACN How we cope till his return, especially with Denilson's injury, will definately shape our season.

With news that Bendtner is due back in 2 weeks,Gallas obviously playing with injury and Denilson's new injury,i am really keen to see what we do in the transfer market.

I took the car for a drive today and this is the code i pulled up.Everything seems to be pointing towards the oxygen sensors:

P0141 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2))
P0161 (Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2))
P0138 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)
P0158 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

Courtesy:http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/showthread.php?t=36045

Kindly respond to the questions i asked in my earlier post:

where is the oxygen sensor for this car(2001 Grand Cherokee) located and how is it related to the catalytic switch?

What is it's function(s),is it more than 1 and how is it possible it's malfunctioning can culminate in emission of black smoke?

Do i change the sensors along with the catalyst switch now with this new error code coming up?

I will appreciate if i can get a pictoral rep of this sensors too.

Thanks a lot! wink

Good day Sultaan,

Took the car for a ride today and these are the codes it came up with ;

P0141 and P0161.Googled it and everything seems to be tending towards the 02 sensor as indicated by these forums:

http://www.fixya.com/cars/t3385017-will_hollowed_catalytic_converter_cause
http://www.fixya.com/cars/t3040619-2001_cherokee_4_0_6cyl_p0161_p0158_codes

Can you kindly respond to these questions and also let me know if the sensors are dude for change or can it be fixed?:

I have virtually the same problem with my V8 grand cherokee,it all started after i serviced the car,a poignant,thick,carbon-like smoke and particles that comes most times when i am in a hold up with its attendant shaking/vibration of the car engine was the first step in what has now become a conundrum of some sort.

I was advised by Sultaan then to change the car engine oil to Mobil XHP 20W 50[used AP oil for the first servicing]which i did ang with changing all the plugs. The black smoke continued with an alarming fuel consumption.I was forced to go scan the car which indicated that i should change the injector, the coils and the catalyst switch which i did change, all this inclusive of all the plugs again[suffice to state this was all under like 2 months] and the oil[extremely black for a 2 weeks old oil by the time it was drained]

The problem still persists till now[shaking/vibration of the car engine when at a stand still or in a hold up and black smoke] and i am really confused as it just seems my mechanic is really taking a piss right now advising i scan again and change the noozzles

News on Cesc's injury,Rosicky's new contract and Gael's back in training

Fàbregas has not suffered a significant setback to the injury that he aggravated in last week’s 3-0 win over Villa, although his recovery is taking longer than was expected. The 22-year-old is targeting a comeback for Arsenal’s trip to face Bolton Wanderers on January 17, when Theo Walcott may also return from a muscle strain.

The Arsenal captain’s continued absence is more of a blow, given that Alexandre Song left yesterday to join Cameroon at the African Cup of Nations, leaving Wenger short of numbers for the Premier League match at home to Bolton tomorrow. Victory would take Arsenal to second place in the table, one point behind Chelsea. Denilson is set to take Song’s place, provided he shakes off a back injury. Gaël Clichy and Tomas Rosicky have returned to training after back and groin problems respectively.

Rosicky signed a four-year contract yesterday despite having made limited appearances over the past two seasons because of injury. The 29-year-old becomes the fifteenth player to have agreed a new deal at Arsenal since last May, reflecting the club’s desire to maintain their existing squad rather than bolster it with signings.

Dr Kitaun:
What has helped us this season isnt that our boys have been spectacular but rather we have for once capitulated on the mistakes of our rivals in the top echelon of the league . . .what explains that half way into the league the league leaders have dropped 15 points already huh remember y’all when I said whoever is gonna win this season will not notch up to 90 points . . . I bet IT WILL BE MATHEMATICALLY POSSIBLE BUT REALISTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYONE (MAX CHELSEA, ARSENAL,MANURE,ASTON) TO PICK UP 90 POINTS, ANY DOUBTING THOMASES ??
I don't really understand this logic  Kit. . .

Isn't it the same set of teams both Chelsea and Arsenal met over the course of 18 games?  undecided It's ridiculous how Chesea are given "the poor frm" leeway anytime they lose but we are termed rubbish anytime we lose.Truth is,the smaller teams[with the exceptin of Wolves rolling over at OT] have woken up to their duties and the gorge is gradually closing up.Arsenal though with the dissapointments of seasons past seems to know that the 'big' games ALONE doesnt win the league and now bring their A game to the fore as against what was obtainable.

While i agree it's not yet uhuru, sincerely all the teams in the EPL are deservedly in their rightful positions on the table

@Ibimess
Ibime:
Ibime is never wrong!!!

First of all, it takes foresight to know that the introdution of Arshavin precipitates the need for a change of formation to 4-3-3 as opposed to the 4-4-2 that held previously.

Secondly, our argument was WHETHER RVP CAN PLAY A FULL SEASON ON THE WINGS in a 4-3-3.

My opponents believed that RVP would have no problem doing so.

Wenger agreed with me, thats why RVP was deployed as a striker, rather than a winger. Wenger knows!!!

Credit must go to RVP for mastering the lone striker role. Not even Nastradamus would have seen that coming. However Ibime was right in saying that going on antecedents, RVP would not enjoy playing on the wings all the time!!!
Mea maxima culpa as per the RVP issue but i could have sworn you were of the opinion he wouldn't cut it as a lone striker in the 4-3-3.
That said,i think only a disjointed foresight will make anyone opined that wenger changed to 4-3-3 cos of just one payer;Arshavin. The open channel our midfied became after the loss of Famini, and the inability of none of the  player designated for the DM position to immediatey take up the gauntlet was more of the reason.

Moreso, isn't it obvious most of the players in our rank are central players as against the wing in which they are "forced" to play in a 4-4-2? undecided

Wenger didn't have to look too far,Barca were playing one of the most entertaining football on earth yet they were decent defensively,it wouldn't be far fecthed to say we took a cue.

Many are used to the shade-tree mechanics who will keep guessing whats wrong with the car rather than someone who will go straight to the problem and charge accordingly.

A typical Naija will rather spend N50,000 buying unnecessary parts over a long period of time suggested by substandard mechanics than walking into a good knowledgable shop and pay like N20,000 upfront and be done with the problem.

A new center forward MIGHT be the difference between 1st & 2nd this season. But we cant just buy a striker for the sake of it. . . He has to be quality. So the question is: will any quality striker be available for a reasonable price in january? The answer is NO.
And thats why Wenger is very unlikely to sign a striker. So we'll just have to stick with what we've got.

One player i wont mind seeing in an Arsenal shirt this January is Scott Parker.
And maybe Flamini back on loan frm Milan, doesn't seem to be having a ball in Milan or is he?One other player i do not mind is Newcastle's Taylor. He will be a better back up to either of Gallas and Vermaleen than Silvestre with Senderos definately not in Wenger's plan at all.
