Oh ok it is because I didn't say it properly. What I was saying is that Ebira should have allies with Yoruba to retire Igala from State politics. For now, Bello is working with Igala through Onoja, but I was saying that if Faleke had entered as governor, he could have picked Ebira vice and taken over from Igala finally.

Ebira is in Lugard house for now but Igala have been controlling Lugard house for long. All governor of Kogi has been Igala except for Bello. Am I making sense now?

If not that Ebira people and Yoruba don't want to join up they can retire Igala from Lugard house permanently but Yahaya Bello spoilt it.

Ondo allowing Dangote Refinery to be move to Lagos was a big mistake. I hope they let this one grow.

Oga West Africa is easier. You can obtain passport from Benin Republic, Togo, even Sierra Leone or Gambia or Liberia within 1 year if you are ready to pay.

People are using the passport for visa lottery since they banned Nigerians.

This is what they were going to use to cause wahala if Jonathan did not go in 2015.

Rumour has it that it is because NIMC is very busy handing out IF card to Northerners and Hausas from Niger Republic. They then use the national ID card to get voters card which will be vital for elections.

Same thing happens with passport. In the south there is never any paper and people wait for months to get passport. But in Sokoto passport is printed out in 4-5 hours.

This law is a very good idea.

Oga this type of law has been tried abroad. It would be better to make it 20 years than death sentence.

It is very possible to kill the victim after collecting ransom. These things have happened several times before. If death sentence is imposed, they will simply turn to robbery or kill victims.

A better plan would be to demolish the family houses of the kidnappers. That way, the family will cast them and any building they construct will be demolished. With this approach, the money they might make will end up getting wasted.

This is a bad idea. When kidnappers face death penalty, more kidnap victims will end up dead. It will still be safer for the kidnappers to collect ransom and then kill the victim to avoid being identified.

The reality is that no company was willing to invest in supplying gas to Calabar power plant without a take or pay agreement.
The problem now is that Calabar power plant has a capacity of 561MW, but it's not generating up to capacity because the Distribution companies are not ready to take the whole power generated which they blame on poor revenue collection.
So the power plant is asked to generate below capacity, running 2 out of 5 turbines most times while the gas is available there, because the company has to recoup it's investment, the FG has to pay a percentage for not using the supplied gas while the citizens suffer lack of adequate power.

I know this because I work in the generation system which is frustrating to us watching what the Discos are doing to Nigerians

As a person versed in the power sector you know that it isn't the discos that are to blame. It is the NERC with the stipulated prices that makes it impossible for discos to function. They can't be selling at loss and the price per kwh is too low. They should leave discos to set the price while forcing adoption of prepaid meter and then the discos will offtake your product.

This kind of letter should get to the governor because lots of big men use this site. If more people would write these sorts of letters government will know what they need to be doing.

The only thing I want to say is that GSM is trying and he just entered. Ajimobi policies were so harsh and GSM government need to check well to make sure that they know what to do first.

What we have been seeing for now is palliative measures for the masses but I am sure GSM knows that they need targeted infrastructure to build Oyo and move to the next level.

Please keep monitoring them because anybody can see that you are fully on ground.

They are still deceiving this man. He should retire and write his memoirs or at least push some of his kids to join politics. How can he still be shaking hands of these men that are just using him?

Imagine Atiku still dragging PDP with people like Wike that young enough to be his son. After this 2019, he should have given up on active politics and pushed his kids to take over key positions in Adamawa. Why they are still using Alpha Jet to do airstrike is beyond me. Under Jonathan, Israel came and told us to buy drone that can be used for long range surveillance and bombing. We even had option to pay for satellite tracking but Army rejected it.

We are here using Alpha Jet looking for what is not lost. No coordinating strike with supporting infantry or even special forces to mop up. No helicopter gunships to follow up. These guys will escape and will regroup and this whole thing will continue.

It can never work and will just add more division to the country.

A level 8 worker in any ministry is not above 55k
Agencies earn higher same as commissions
Guess the OP refers to one the independent commissions like CBN, FIRS, NCC, DPR, etc
Paramilitaries and police pays better too

For those looking to collect Benin Republic passport to try for US student visa now is the time to take steps.

Benin Republic customs officers are seriously broke asnat now and they are really opening up. As we all know Benin Republic passport is not under searchlight the way Nigeria passport is, and so they still get student visa steadily. They are also eligible for US Visa Lottery.

Nobody should take the Senate serious. Any new bill or amendment they pass will always result in a new agency or commission.

The same is going in Lagos state, most of the new agencies' work can be carried out using few desks under a ministry. For example, Safety Commission, the commission supervising communication masts...

It is by design. Any legislator that brings a commission into being gets slots for staffs and other things like that.
