Close your eyes, imagine you're married with 3kids, working class lady.

What do you think?
Let us face facts pls. That man is wicked but the wife does not have any reason to be that fat. Let us call a spade a spade and stop relying on sentiment. Being fat is something you have to TRY to achieve by overeating.
PoliticsRe: Diasporans, How Likely Are You to Semi-Retire Or Retire In Nigeria by kayroc: 1:42am On Feb 28, 2020
Before long Rwanda, Tanzania and Botswana will become retirement destinations for Africans in Diaspora. They are quietly making moves. US people that are collecting social security payment monthly will just park somewhere in those countries and be collecting $1600 monthly for life.

Or if you want to flex more opt for Thailand or Cambodia.

You're absolutely right. You see, Westerners spontaneously buying a ticket and flying to Morocco & Tunisia for a few days. Visa free. Yours truly would never have visited those places if visa hassle was involved.

We can impose stiff penalties for those engaged in illegal and child prostitution.
In fact I am tired. Imagine saying tourism will increase prostitution. When prostitution has already taken over finally. Just slam them with exit fine of $1,000 if caught and raise revenue. Right now Kenya is making serious cash from tourism and we are just looking.

The picture below is what Nigeria's visa policy should be- everybody should get Visa on arrival even if it is only for 30 days. Then if they want to make more money charge people for overstay of the 30 day rule. Let us say $200 for overstay of up to 90 days. They will make more money but where is the minister of tourism? Nowhere to be found.

Lawrence is Dickson's puppet...Being that they are from the same constituency and Dickson clearly wants the Senate seat...Dickson would have promised to make Him the Next Governor after Diri after all na Dickson make am Senator...At this point it would be up to the Senate to declare the seat vacant then the right is up to the ruling Governor to appoint someone that will occupy the said seat til INEC holds a fresh election or after the tenure elapses....So,I see Dickson there at the Senate already and there is nothing the APC or their candidate Capt.Karimo can do about this.

In my humble opinion, it's harder to be a Deputy Governor to be a Senator.

Yes Deputy Governors are often anonymous, but if your Boss likes you, you can become Governor after him.

And after Deputy / Governor, you can retire to die in the Senate.

It's not always about money. My 2 cents. Pun intended.

Think strategic!
What you are saying is true but a lot of deputy governor just stop being relevant. Look at how Kogi deputy was impeached just like that. That is my own fear. I would rather go to Senate and manage that one and know that my own money is secured than to live knowing that the governor can cancel my cash.

You are right that one should be strategic but abeg with the way I am for now I can't reason strategy to that extent o.

Nigeria too carry Africa matter for head like Galla. Apartheid help to SA and being repaid with Xenophobia should have opened our eyes.

Instead give visa free to Western and other rich nationals with hard currency to spend. Tunisia and Morocco are making a lot of money from it.
Thank God someone else can see it. Even Benin Republic does EVisa for rich countries to boost tourism but these ones are putting together 79 different visa categories.

Bloody fools. Even USA has fewer than 20 visa categories- less than 7 if you remove immigrant visas.

Nigerian should have EVisa for Schengen, Japan, US, UK and China. They should pay flat $100 for 90 days stay but those greedy crooks at Nigerian Embassy abroad can't just allow that because they rely on harassing visa applicant for bribe.

India has Non Resident Indian ID card that can be used to enter the country in lieu of passport/visa. Once you have that one, even if you have only Nigerian citizenship, if you have that ID card, you will get automatic visa on arrival.

This country is just mad. Let me mistakenly get Visa I will run away. Seeing the kind of backward and retrogressive policies that this country implements just kills my spirit. How can Nigeria at this point still be putting such nonsense in place.

I am tired. 79 visa categories on top of what? Short-term Business, Visitor, and long term work permit are all that we need. Simplify the process and let everyone that wants to apply for Visa apply online and just tender passport on arrival to get the visa imprinted and you move on.

Yet these ones are still acting as if the Nigeria is relevant. Nonsense.

AnanseK:
Nairaland is full of ignorant youths and none will know the highly academic large Wanka family of Bauchi where Ado Yakubu Wanka come from.
Ado , a first class anywhere and everywhere was one of the many exceptionally successful children of the late Waziri of Bauchi Alhaji Yakubu Wanka who was himself such a great achiever.
The Senior YAKUBU Wanka held many lofty positions in his lifetime, traditional, academic and political. He was a Director of Many banks and one of the early Directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Intelligent seniors among the noise makers would remember the late Yakubu Wanka’s signature on all Nigerian paper currency denominations as from the year 1958 onwards.

https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/well-read-wanka-clan-of-bauchi.html

If you look carefully at this Nigerian old £5 note, you will see Yakubu Wanka’s signature as Ado’s Farther was one of the CBN Directors right from 1958.
We thank GOD for people like you that still know of history. This family is massively influential in Bauchi state and environs but very coded. So many of them all over in strategic areas of the economy quietly making waves.

That is just the truth. Sowore so-called Revolution is audio revolution. When Buhari picked Zakzaky that man's followers faced the GOVT but Sowore own is only on Twitter.

The people that are making noise about Sowore are an irrelevant minority that monopolize Twitter and feel relevant. How many of ZAKZAKY people were on Twitter then? Those SHIA faced ARMY life and direct, and they did not run when they were shooting them.

Sowore is not relevant and Buhari knows it. That is why they are still taking him to court here and there. They know his audio followers will only rant on Twitter LOL.

Even NNAMDI KANU people did more than this. Abeg let us face fact. Sowore followers are just joking. The key conveners will cash out and file asylums claim abroad and everyone will calm down.

But has anyone noticed we are not hearing about Zakzaky after he went abroad for TREATMENT? The man must be in Iran right now LOL his Shia have also calmed down

So now the new business for 2020 is blackmail. Once somebody doesn't like you they will accuse you and put you on the registry. Since those that have been accused but not convicted are included, it is now easy to completely destroy somebody's career and visa prospects.

False accusations loading. Abeg guys should be wise. Any babe that asks you for money you better pay up before she opens case on your head.
PoliticsRe: ONLINE PETITION: Ballot Or Electronic Voting System by kayroc: 6:53am On Nov 22, 2019
The adoption of electronic voting will be the end of democratic elections in Nigeria. Even in the US they are trying to remove electronic voting system and go back to paper voting because of hacking.

Yet people here are shouting electronic voting. The software can be edited to reflect PDP when you vote APC or reflect APC when you vote PDP depending on who is in power.

Under APC, if they bring electronic voting you will just notice that 2 out of 3 votes are made to go to APC no matter which party you try to vote for. That will bring about one party regime.
PoliticsRe: Chadian Army Buys 20 Armoured Vehicles From Proforce Nigeria by kayroc: 1:52am On Nov 22, 2019
candidtalk:
Smart dude. This is indeed the plan. There can be no fuel subsidy anymore when local demand for PMS, kerosine, Gas, diesel is met by local supply 100% and not a single drop of crude leaves our shore to be refined abroad. The Dangote refinery will meet local demand completely with surplus to export also. Gas export alone will grow many times it current volume when the Dangote refinery is operational.
Never underestimate the power of vested interest. Oga, that Dangote refinery will not end petrol subsidy. Mark it. The standard cost for petrol now without subsidy should be around 250/litre. Nigerians will never agree to pay it so what will happen is that government will pay subsidy to key companies to ensure that the price of fuel products does not reach the standard market price.

Dangote will still get paid and will still export to most African Countries with sea access, but the key is that government will pay part of the cost to keep the price low. Right now, Dangote refinery is there to make sure that more of the money we spend on petrol at least stays in Nigeria.

Idea is that the profit he will make by providing our petrol usage will go into his other Nigerian investment so that we keep more capital local.

That fuel subsidy is vital to keeping politically connected people happy. Oil subsidy scam is the simplest way to settle people in Nigeria for now and tneh can't just allow it get burnt.
